1After watching "The Devil Wears Prada", I couldn't help but feel both inspired and slightly terrified by the character of Miranda Priestly, the ultimate fashion editor and queen bee of the fashion world. Her snappy one-liners, icy demeanor, and impeccable sense of style make her an intimidating force to be reckoned with. One of the key takeaways from the film is Miranda's unwavering dedication to her work and her refusal to compromise her standards for anyone. She demands excellence from her employees and is not afraid to make tough decisions to ensure the success of her magazine. While her approach may be harsh at times, it is evident that she is a true visionary who knows what she wants and is willing to do whatever it takes to achieve it.On the other hand, we also see the toll that Miranda's demanding lifestyle takes on her personal life. She is portrayed as a lonely and somewhat cold figure, whose dedication to hercareer has come at the expense of her relationships with others. This serves as a cautionary tale about the importance of finding a balance between work and personal life, and not letting one's ambition consume them completely.Overall, "The Devil Wears Prada" is a fascinating exploration of the world of high fashion and the sacrifices that are often required to succeed in such a competitive industry. Miranda Priestly may be a complex and intimidating character, but she is also a reminder of the power of determination, ambition, and unwavering commitment to one's goals. As the saying goes, "Give a girl the right shoes, and she can conquer the world." And Miranda Priestly certainly knows how to rock a killer pair of Prada heels.篇2After watching "The Devil Wears Prada", I can't help but feel a mix of admiration and horror for the character of Miranda Priestly, the ruthless editor-in-chief of Runway magazine. As the woman behind the iconic sunglasses and designer outfits, Miranda is the epitome of a powerful and successful woman in the cutthroat world of fashion.Throughout the film, Miranda's sharp tongue and demanding nature leave her subordinates constantly on edge, striving to meet her impossibly high standards. While her behavior is often cruel and insensitive, it is clear that her dedication to excellence and her passion for the industry are what drive her relentless pursuit of perfection.Despite her flaws, Miranda is undeniably a force to be reckoned with. Her unwavering confidence and unwavering determination inspire both fear and respect in those around her. She is a woman who knows what she wants and isn't afraid to do whatever it takes to get it.However, as the film progresses, we also see glimpses of Miranda's vulnerability and humanity. Behind the facade of the cold and calculating editor lies a woman who is juggling the demands of a stressful career and a complicated personal life. It is these moments of vulnerability that make Miranda a more complex and ultimately sympathetic character. In the end, "The Devil Wears Prada" is a fascinating portrait of a woman who is both a queen and a prisoner of her own success. Miranda Priestly may be a formidable presence, but she is also a cautionary tale about the cost of ambition and the sacrifices one must make to achieve greatness. As viewers, weare left with a newfound appreciation for the women who dare to break boundaries and challenge the status quo, even if it means sacrificing everything in the process.篇3After watching "The Devil Wears Prada", I am left in awe of the portrayal of the fashion industry and the power dynamics within it. The film follows the story of Andy, a young journalist who lands a job as the assistant to Miranda Priestly, the powerful and intimidating editor-in-chief of a top fashion magazine.Miranda Priestly, played brilliantly by Meryl Streep, is the ultimate boss lady - she is demanding, ruthless, and unapologetically fabulous. Her character is a fascinating study in power and control, as she manipulates and inspires fear in those around her. Despite her icy demeanor, Miranda commands respect and admiration from her colleagues and rivals alike. As Andy navigates the cutthroat world of high fashion, she begins to transform herself in order to fit in and impress Miranda. She sacrifices her personal life, friendships, and even her own values in pursuit of success. The film raises important questions about the cost of ambition and the sacrifices we make in order to achieve our goals.Ultimately, "The Devil Wears Prada" is a cautionary tale about the seductive allure of power and success. It serves as a reminder that we must stay true to ourselves and our values, even in the face of overwhelming pressure to conform. Miranda Priestly may be the queen bee of the fashion industry, but her reign comes at a steep price.。

Marie Antoinette" is still a continuation of the style of Coppola through some plain narrative, as a breeze kissed girl quiet heart. Beautiful revealed a charming R costume, into a woman's gentle, noble with delicate furniture, almost all of this era is to create the woman. And as the French supreme queen Mary Anntoinette is undoubtedly more fashion spokesperson, Kristen Dunst plays from Queen Marie every time wearing a surprise to loudly dressed to bring our vision, every feathered hat, each of the embroidery fans all revealed the aesthetic fashion designers have great originality, dizzying, beautiful. Can say "Marie Antoinette" in recent years is a historical theme movie a few shots of luxury in their eyes. The film begins by saying Austria's daughter is married abroad, let people full of hope for her wealthy life. Not surprisingly, the big door is like the sea, she can not get her husband's "blue". Every day repeatedly listen to opera, dinner parties, no surprise, night sleep, morning and under the watchful eyes of the people is to depict the locker, she lives on the base of the thesis. The strange thing is, this "It is as expected" and such repeated narration, it is that I think the fastest moving story, as it deepened my hope, coping with this dilemma, the hero will be how the essay. Finally, the protagonist is selected in this way. When autumn comes, the Queen's big daughter of the queen died in the November. The Cardinals bought a pricelessnecklace for the queen, triggering a "necklace event". Although the queen, money is not a secret, but people can not forgive Antoinette. Because of her native Austria was aFrench rival, the French had deep in thought and did not believe that the Austria woman, her behavior as further angered people. The queen, who had made the entire Paris dumped, was called "a ferocious beast that engulfed the mostof the Republic." Finally, the civilians launched a riot. When the palace is broken, the queen, who has always been arrogant, is more dignified than ever. She was neither afraid, nor sad, and after eating "the last supper", Louis sixteen asked: do you want to go back there? She answered: No, I'm saying goodbye. The film come to a halt, but behind the plot is worth mentioning. It is said that Filson, a Swedish officer afterthe palace, tried to help the queen to run away, but a woman spy betrayed the plan. The queen was beheaded, "why I am notin June 20th that day to die for her?" This sentence is constantly in Filson's diary. 21 years later, Filson was a Swedish field marshal, both the favor, and power, but hehated the queen lives away. Jealousy of his political enemies means he has killed a prince in revenge and wants to drag his country into war. In June 20th, a gang of thugs killed the white - haired old man with a stick stone. At this point, the final Knight of the queen of France and the handsome youngfield realized the desire of 21 years ago. In addition, when Marie Antoinette was beheaded, beside the scaffold suddenly large flower mandala. It was said that mantuo was able to survive the irrigation of blood, and that it was as beautiful as a dream.Sophia Coppola, as one of the few women directors in the world today, is able to compile and guide herself. She uses her keen eyes to observe people and the world, which is full of frustration and sympathy. Like a lonely life of tourists in the desert for himself but also for all the people looking for light water thirsty, expect her trip, and just continue to bring our souls to eternal tranquility, and fragrance.。

1Title: Reflection on "The Devil Wears Prada""The Devil Wears Prada" is a film that delves into the cutthroat world of fashion and the ruthless nature ofhigh-powered individuals in the industry. The movie follows the life of Andy Sachs, a young graduate who lands a job as an assistant to Miranda Priestly, the powerful editor of a prestigious fashion magazine. As I watched the movie, I couldn't help but feel a mix of admiration and repulsion towards Miranda Priestly, played brilliantly by Meryl Streep. On one hand, I admired her unwavering dedication to her career and her ability to command respect and fear from those around her. She was the epitome of a successful woman in a male-dominated industry, and her impeccable taste and eye for detail were truly awe-inspiring.On the other hand, Miranda's callousness and lack of empathy towards her employees left a bitter taste in my mouth. She was willing to manipulate and belittle others in order to getwhat she wanted, and she seemed to view people as disposable assets rather than individuals with feelings and aspirations.Through Andy's journey, I also learned about the sacrifices that one has to make in order to succeed in a competitive field. Andy had to compromise her personal values and relationships in order to meet Miranda's demands, and she constantly struggled with the conflict between her ambition and her sense of self.Overall, "The Devil Wears Prada" is a thought-provoking film that sheds light on the dark side of success and the high price that one has to pay for it. It serves as a reminder that true success should not come at the expense of one's integrity and humanity, and that it is important to stay true to oneself even in the face of adversity.篇2Title: Reflection on "The Devil Wears Prada""The Devil Wears Prada" is a film that has left a lasting impact on me. The story revolves around Andrea Sachs, a young aspiring journalist who lands a job as the assistant to Miranda Priestly, the powerful and demanding editor-in-chief of a top fashion magazine. As Andrea navigates through the cutthroatworld of fashion, she is forced to make tough decisions and sacrifices that ultimately shape her identity and values. One of the key themes in the film is the pursuit of success and the sacrifices that come with it. Miranda Priestly embodies the archetype of a successful and powerful woman who has made sacrifices in her personal life to achieve professional success. Her demanding personality and high expectations push Andrea to her limits, forcing her to question her own priorities and values.Through Andrea's journey, I was reminded of the importance of staying true to oneself and not compromising one's values in the pursuit of success. Despite the pressures and temptations of the fashion industry, Andrea learns to stand up for herself and stay true to her ideals. This message is particularly relevant in today's competitive and fast-paced world, where it is easy to lose sight of what truly matters.Another theme that resonated with me is the idea of mentorship and the importance of learning from those who have more experience and wisdom. Miranda Priestly serves as a mentor to Andrea, albeit in a tough and unconventional way. Through their interactions, Andrea learns valuable lessons about professionalism, resilience, and the importance of attention todetail. This relationship highlights the importance of seeking guidance and feedback from those who have walked the path before us.In conclusion, "The Devil Wears Prada" is a captivating and thought-provoking film that offers valuable insights into the complexities of success, sacrifice, and mentorship. The characters and storyline are compelling, drawing viewers into the glamorous yet cutthroat world of high fashion. This film serves as a reminder to stay true to oneself, seek mentorship, and navigate challenges with grace and integrity. It is a timeless and relevant story that continues to inspire audiences around the world.篇3As a fashion enthusiast, I recently watched the documentary "The Devil Wears Prada" and I was captivated by thebehind-the-scenes glimpse into the glamorous world of high fashion. Directed by David Frankel and based on the novel by Lauren Weisberger, the film follows the story of a young woman named Andy Sachs who lands a job as the assistant to the powerful and demanding editor-in-chief of a prestigious fashion magazine, Miranda Priestly, played brilliantly by Meryl Streep. One of the aspects of the film that stood out to me was the portrayal of the fashion industry as a cutthroat and competitive world where appearances are everything. Miranda Priestly, the iconic character played by Meryl Streep, embodies the image of a successful and powerful woman who is unapologetic in her pursuit of perfection. Her sharp wit, impeccable style, and unwavering determination make her a force to be reckoned with in the fashion world. The film also explores themes of ambition, sacrifice, and the cost of success. Andy Sachs, played by Anne Hathaway, struggles to balance her personal values with the demands of herhigh-pressure job. Throughout the film, she is forced to make difficult choices that challenge her sense of self and her relationships with those around her.Overall, "The Devil Wears Prada" is a captivating and entertaining film that offers a glimpse into the world of high fashion and the sacrifices that come with chasing your dreams. The performances by Meryl Streep and Anne Hathaway are outstanding, and the film's stylish visuals and witty dialogue make it a must-watch for anyone interested in fashion and the pursuit of success.。

The Elegance and Substance Beneath the Glamour: Reflections on "The Devil WearsPrada""The Devil Wears Prada," a film that captured the essence of New York City's high-fashion world, tells a tale of transformation and self-discovery. Directed by David Frankel and adapted from Lauren Weisberger's novel of the same name, the movie stars Anne Hathaway as Andrea Sachs, a young woman who lands a job at the prestigious Runway fashion magazine. Her boss, the icy Miranda Priestly (played by Meryl Streep), is a严苛的任务大师 whose demands push Andrea to her limits, forcing her to navigate the challenging world of high fashion. At first glance, "The Devil Wears Prada" appears to be a simple story about fashion and glamour, but it's much more than that. It's a commentary on society's obsession with appearance and material possessions, and the lengths people are willing to go to achieve the perfect life. Through Andrea's journey, the film explores the conflict between personal values and the demands of a materialistic world.Andrea starts her journey as a naïve and idealistic young woman who dreams of becoming a writer. However, she soon realizes that the fast-paced and competitive world of fashion is far removed from her original aspirations. Sheis constantly pushed to her limits, dealing with demanding deadlines, temperamental designers, and a boss who expects perfection at all times. Despite the initial excitement of working at Runway, Andrea soon feels overwhelmed and lost. The film's central theme is the importance of staying true to oneself in a world that constantly pressures us to conform. Miranda, with her perfect life and high-fashion lifestyle, seems to have everything that Andrea wants. However, as the film progresses, we see that Miranda's perfect life is built on a foundation of lies and deception. She hides her true self to maintain her position and image, sacrificing her personal happiness and relationships in the process. This contrast between Miranda's facade and herinner emptiness highlights the film's message about the hollowness of material possessions and the need toprioritize one's own happiness and values.Andrea's transformation throughout the film is both remarkable and inspiring. She starts as a naive andinsecure young woman who is easily swayed by others' opinions and expectations. However, through her experiences at Runway and with the help of her friends and mentors, she learns to value herself and her dreams. She realizes that true success is not measured by external factors like material possessions or social status, but by thefulfillment and happiness one derives from following their passions and staying true to their values. The film's ending is particularly poignant. After quitting her job at Runway, Andrea embarks on a new journey that aligns with her values and aspirations. She moves to Paris to pursue her dream of becoming a writer, leaving the glamour and materialism of New York behind. This decisionnot only symbolizes Andrea's personal growth and self-discovery but also serves as a powerful reminder that true happiness and fulfillment come from following one's heart and not succumbing to society's pressures."The Devil Wears Prada" is not just a movie about fashion; it's a story about self-discovery, personal growth, and the importance of staying true to oneself. It encourages us to prioritize our values and dreams, even when faced with the temptations and pressures of a materialistic world. In the end, it's not about what we wear or how we look, but about who we are and what we believe in.**时尚外衣下的优雅与内涵:《穿普拉达的女王》观后感** 《穿普拉达的女王》这部捕捉了纽约时尚界精髓的电影,讲述了一个关于转变和自我发现的故事。

You are not trying——<the Devil Wears Prada> Film ReviewSo quit, I can get another girl to take your job in five minutes…one who really wants it. Andy, be serious. You are not trying. You are whining…You have no idea how many l egends have walked these halls. And what’s worse, you don’t care. Because this place, where so many people would die to work, you only deign to work. And you want to know why she doesn’t kiss you on the forehead and give you a gold star on your homework at the end of the day. Wake up, sweetheart.--forewordAndy Sachs, a girl graduated from North Western University, came to New York to be a journalist and sent letters out everywhere. However, she got a job to be an assistant for Miranda, the editor in chief of Runway, by chance. Runway is one of the most famous magazines, so rustic Andy was laughed at by her colleagues at the outset. She didn’t like this job, although a million girls would kill for it. She thought fashion had nothing to do with her and was not willing to change herself for this job. She just needed to stick it out for a year and then she could get a job at any magazine she wanted.Andy worked for Miranda day and night, not only to be Miranda’s second assistant but also to be her nurse on call. She had to prepare for her breakfast, hang her clothes and bag, serve for the twins and so on. She was tired of this job and didn’t know what else she can do. Because if she did something right, it’s unacknowledged, Miranda didn’t even say thank you; bu t if she did something wrong, Miranda would become vicious. Andy felt unfair and she would like a little credit for the fact that she waskilling herself trying. When she was punished by Miranda once, she turned to Nigel. However, Niger pointed out that she was not trying, and she was just whining. Then she changed her attitude towards this job and became fashionable to adapt to Runway. There was no doubt that she was an excellent girl and made great progress little by little. Eventually, she surpassed Emily and was admitted by Miranda, the devil wears Prada.Think of myself, I was disappointed when I knew that I should learn English in USTB.I was fond of public administration and dreamed of being a public functionary after graduation. To be honest, I learned English just to take exams and in fact I tried my best to get good grades by using exam-oriented skills when I was in high school. However, I was chosen by English major unexpectedly. After failing to be elected endlessly and failing to pass my midterm in close reading and listening class, I had been despondent for a long time and didn’t knew what could I do to. I told myself stick it out for a year and I would get away from English forevermore and I could do what I wanted to do. Like Andy, I thought I had nothing to do with English. I comforted myself that I had done everything I could think of, but in fact, I was also not trying; I was just complaining-blame everyone and everything but not myself.Luckily, I encountered my Nigel. When I complained my life to brother, to my surprise, he didn’t show any sympathy to me and just said “Life is a struggle and things do not always go your way but that is what you enjoy about life. The most important thing is to never give up. Dear, you must fight for what you want.”I checked myself and tried myself to change my situation.I understood that I indeed spent lots of time learning English but I never put my heart in it. I always regarded English as a burden and reminded myself I didn’t belong to there. There was no doubt that I can’t make progress due to the influence of this negative attitude. Then I tried to search the joy of learning English and make myself to love English. I made progress although I was still not outstanding. I believe that if I put my heart into it, anything will be possible. Not anyone can do what he wants forever; not everything can always go your way. Ask yourself if you really do anything you can do before complaining about life. Accept your life and try your best to fight for what you want, and you will be successful.QuestionWhy did Andy stay at Runway when she was laughed at by her colleague, but quit when she got promotion?Andy wanted to stay at Runway at first because if she sticked it out for a year, she could get a job at any magazine she wanted. But when she adapted to this life, she found something ugly in the field of entertainment. She also didn’t want to live an exquisite life at the cost of losing boyfriend, family, friends and trueness. Was Miranda a devil?I would like to regard her as a queen rather than a devil. She was just doing her job at any rate. No one can do better than her as the chief editor of Runway.Family and enterprise, which one is more important?Maybe it depends on you. Andy chosen to her family, friends and live a normal life, while Miranda continued to live an exquisite life and was busy with Runway. There is no doubt that we all want to both family and enterprise. When they don’t have conflict, it just ok, but when they have conflicts, we must make a decision seriously.。
