He complains about having to wake up early on a Saturday but I think he's just happy to get out of doing chores that day. The parent volunteers do a ton too - pitching tents, manning stations, selling concessions, and cleaning up at the end.I heard there's even a special parents' event this year with a tug-of-war competition and a wacky relay race. That should behilarious to watch! I can't believe some of the parents are going to actually dress up and participate.
