Step 1. Leading-in

Talk about these questions with students in“Chat Show”

1.Have you ever been late for class? And why?

2.Do you know the word “subject”? How many subjects do you have? Step 2. Learning

Learn the new words one by one.

Step 3. Listening

Listen to the tape and answer the questions.

1. Are Jenny and Brian in the same class?

2. What class is Jenny going to have?

3. What subject does Brian like best?

Then check the answers.

Step 4. Read and learn

The students read the dialogue and learn the useful expressions by themselves. Step 5. Explain
