摘要

近10年来，全球金融衍生工具市场成交量迅猛发展，仅交易所交易的金融衍生工具合约的名义价值就是全球股票市值的几十倍，而且正在以每年20％以上的速度成长。一方面，金融衍生工具由于其成交活跃、成本低廉，为各类企业、机构投资者和个人投资者提供了对冲风险的手段，从而为它们稳定了收入预期，增加了收益并转移了不愿承担的风险。正如默顿·米勒自信的指出，这些金融产品使企业和机构有效且经济地处理困扰自己没有几百年也有几十年的风险成为可能金融衍生工具使世界变得更加安全而不是更加危险；另一方面，金融衍生工具交易中又不断暴露出巨额损失、公司倒闭等爆炸性事件。这使得金融衍生工具在学术界、业界和金融监管层中都饱受争议。尽管如此，越来越多的衍生工具正被创造出来，越来越多的公司和投资者在利用衍生工具管理风险，衍生工具在金融创新中的作用越来越重要，公司和个人的理财活动越来越离不开衍生工具。本文主要研究商业银行金融衍生品及其市场的概况，以及股票衍生工具，股票指数衍生工具。
