六下四单元英语作文人教版pep1One day, our school organized an outdoor activity. It was an amazing and unforgettable experience! We went to a beautiful forest. The trees were so tall and green, as if they were guardians of the land. When we walked along the path, we saw many colorful flowers. How beautiful they were! We also heard the singing of birds. It sounded like a wonderful concert. We had a picnic there. Everyone brought delicious food. We shared and laughed. It was so much fun! But the most interesting thing was when we explored a cave. It was dark and mysterious inside. We held our flashlights tightly, wondering what we would find.Suddenly, we saw some strange rocks. They looked like animals or fairies. "Oh my god! How strange they are!" we shouted. This outdoor activity was not only interesting but also let us learn a lot about nature. It was a day full of surprises and joy. I will always remember it!2When I was in the sixth grade, I had an unforgettable experience that made me grow a lot. Our class was assigned a difficult project to create a model of a historical building. At first, I felt so frustrated because I had no idea how to start. But I didn't give up! I spent hours researching, collectingmaterials and trying to figure it out. There were many times when I wanted to quit. How could I do this? But I kept telling myself, "I must be brave and I can do it!" With the help of my friends and the encouragement of my teacher, I finally completed the model. Wow! I was so proud of myself. I learned that as long as I am determined and keep trying, nothing is impossible. Through this experience, I became more confident and I also understood the importance of perseverance. Isn't it amazing how a challenge can change us? Now, whenever I face difficulties, I will remember that time and have the courage to move forward.3I still remember that wonderful trip to a historical site. It was an experience I will never forget! We set off early in the morning and arrived at the ancient town in the afternoon. The moment I stepped into it, I was amazed by the ancient buildings and the peaceful atmosphere. The narrow streets were paved with stones, and the old houses seemed to tell stories of the past.We visited a centuries-old temple. The intricate carvings on the walls and the solemn statues inside left me in awe. I couldn't help wondering how people in ancient times could create such magnificent works! As the sun set, the town was bathed in a golden light. It was so beautiful that I felt like I was in a fairy tale. That trip not only gave me a chance to enjoy the beauty of history andculture, but also made me realize how precious these heritages are. How I wish I could have more such unforgettable experiences!4Last weekend, I had an unforgettable experience participating in a community activity. I decided to help my elderly neighbor, Mrs. Smith. She had some trouble cleaning her yard, so I offered to do it for her.I spent the whole morning raking the leaves, trimming the bushes, and watering the flowers. It was really hard work, but I didn't give up! When I finished, the yard looked so neat and beautiful. Mrs. Smith was so grateful and her smile warmed my heart. How wonderful it felt to be able to bring joy to someone else!Another day, I joined an environmental protection activity in our community. We picked up trash along the streets and planted some trees. It made me realize how important it is to protect our environment! How can we ignore the pollution around us?Through these activities, I not only helped others but also learned a lot. I understand that every little effort we make can make a big difference. Isn't it amazing? I will definitely continue to participate in such activities and do my best to make our community a better place!5When I look back on my experiences of participating in volunteeractivities, my heart is filled with warmth and a sense of achievement. One of the most memorable was when I spent time at the old people's home. I accompanied the elderly, listened to their stories, and shared their joys and sorrows. Oh, how touching those moments were! I realized how important it is to show care and love to others.Another remarkable experience was at the orphanage. I played with the children, helped them with their studies, and witnessed their innocent smiles. How precious those smiles were! I learned to cherish the life I have and not take anything for granted.Through these volunteer activities, I grew not only in age but also in my heart and mind. I understood that a small act of kindness can bring huge changes to others' lives. How wonderful it is to be able to give and make a difference! I will continue to participate in such activities, because it makes me a better person and brings so much meaning to my life. Isn't it amazing how much we can learn and grow from helping others?。

六年级人教版英语下册1到3单元作文范例全文共6篇示例,供读者参考篇1My Sixth Grade English TextbookHi everyone! I'm going to tell you all about the first few units in my sixth grade English textbook. It's been really fun learning new things in English class this year.Unit 1 was called "A Letter to Dell." It was about a girl named Anna who wrote a letter to her favourite computer company, Dell. In the letter, she told them how she loves using computers and playing games. She also asked them some questions about how computers are made.I thought Anna's letter was really cool. She used a lot of great vocabulary words like "components," "outstanding" and "fascinate." Those are all pretty big words for a kid! My favourite part was when she said computers "fascinate me to an immense degree." Such fancy language! At the end of the unit, we had to write our own letters. I wrote a letter to the Nintendo company because I really lovetheir games. I told them my top three favourite Nintendo games and I asked if they could make a new game where you get to go to different planets. How awesome would that be?The next unit was called "The Huihui People." It was all about a group called the Huihui people who lived in China a long time ago. We learned about their clothes, food, houses andday-to-day lives. It was really interesting reading about a culture that is so different from ours. One thing I thought was cool about the Huihuis is that the women wore these really pretty flower hats. The flowers were made out of white tree bark and looked almost like real flowers! I wish we had flower hats today. That would be so much fun.We also learned that the Huihui people lived in these cool houses called "thatched cottages." Basically they used dry grass and leaves to make the roofs of their houses. It's crazy to think that's how houses used to be made way back then. No wood or bricks or anything! In that unit, we had to do a project about a different ethnic minority group in China. I chose to do mine on the Miao people. They have these beautiful outfits with tons of embroidery and silver decorations. Their cultural dresses are like works of art!Okay, next up was Unit 3 called "The City Opposite." This one was about two kids, an American boy named Arthur and a Canadian girl named Julia. They were video chatting with each other and telling stories about funny misunderstandings they had because of how things are different in America versus Canada. One of Arthur's stories was about how in Canada, they say "navsrocks" instead of "paintbrushes." Isn't that weird? He said when his Canadian friend first told him to get the "navsrocks" he thought his friend just couldn't pronounce "paintbrushes" properly. Too funny!Julia's story was about the words "semester" and "term." She said in Canada they use "term" but in the US they say "semester." She got really confused once when her teacher talked about "semesters" and she thought they were talking about some weird measurement of time. Haha! There were a bunch more mixed-up word stories like that in the unit. My favourite was the one about "houseood" and "outdog." Do you know what those words mean? I'll let you guess! For the assignment at the end, we had to write a short play or story using some misunderstood words. I wrote a story abouttwo friends arguing because one of them kept saying "bubby" instead of "buddy" and the other friend thought he was trying to say "baby." It was hilarious!Well, those are the highlights from the first few units of my English book. There's been so much fun stuff to learn about other cultures, miscommunications between people who speak different Englishes, and creative writing too. I'm really enjoying sixth grade English this year! Maybe I'll tell you about some other units in the book another time.篇2My Favorite ThingsHi there! My name is Lily and I'm a 6th grader. Today I want to tell you all about some of my favorite things. Get ready because there's a lot to cover! One of my absolute favorite things in the whole wide world is animals! I love all kinds of animals - fuzzy ones, scaly ones, big ones, and little ones. My favorite animal is probably the giant panda. Aren't they just the cutest? With their black and white fur, their cute little ears, and their love for bamboo, what's not to love? I've read all about how they live in the mountains of China and how they are an endangered species. It makes me really sadto think about pandas going extinct. That's why I want to be a zoologist when I grow up so I can help protect them and other amazing animals.Another thing I really love is reading books. There's nothing better than curling up with a good book and getting lost in another world. My absolute favorite book series is Harry Potter. I've read all the books at least three times! I love the magic, the adventures, the characters - everything about it. My favorite character is definitely Hermione because she's so smart and brave. I try to be like her as much as I can. One of these days, I'm going to try making a potion from one of the books. Just don't tell my parents!Speaking of magic, I'm also a huge fan of anything having to do with outer space. I find the planets, stars, galaxies, and everything else so fascinating. Can you imagine living on another planet? Or traveling through a black hole? Getting to explore the mysteries of the universe would be a dream come true. I have a big telescope that I like to use for stargazing on clear nights. I've even seen a few shooting stars! If I can't be a zoologist, I'll definitely try to be an astronaut.Of course, I also love a lot of regular kid things too. Video games are the best, especially anything with cool adventures orlots of puzzles to solve. I play football (or soccer as they call it in some countries) every week with my teammates. We're not very good but it's still a ton of fun to run around. Oh, and I can't forget about ice cream! Chocolate is my all-time favorite flavor. A huge double scoop cone on a hot day? Yes please! Those are some of my very favorite things, but I love lots of other stuff too like art, music, traveling to new places, and so much more. I'm sure as I get older, my interests will change and I'll discover new favorite things. But animals, books, space, games, sports, and ice cream will always have a special place in my heart. What are some of your favorite things? Let me know!篇3My Wonderful LifeHi everyone! My name is Li Ming and I'm a sixth grader at Hexi Primary School. Today I want to tell you all about my wonderful life. Get ready for an awesome story!Let me start by introducing my family. I live with my mom, dad, younger sister Xiao Mei, and our cute dog Pudding. My parents are both really hard workers. Dad is an engineer at a car factory and Mom is a nurse at the hospital. Even though they're busy, they always make time for our family.Xiao Mei is only 8 years old but she's super smart. She loves reading books and is always getting good grades. I have to work hard to keep up with her! As for Pudding, he's a golden retriever and the cuddliest pup ever. I taught him lots of cool tricks like rolling over, shaking hands, and even bringing me my slippers. Now let me tell you about my daily routine. I wake up at 6:30 every morning because I have to get ready for school. After putting on my uniform, I eat a healthy breakfast like porridge or eggs. Then I pack up my backpack with books, pencils, and a water bottle. My school Hexi Primary is just a 10 minute walk from my home.At school, my favorite subjects are English, math, and PE. English is fun because I enjoy learning new words and conversations. Math makes my brain work hard with all the calculations. And PE class means I get to run around and play sports - my favorite is basketball! During breaks, I hang out with my best friends Lin Lin and Zheng Zheng. We play jump rope, tag, or just chat about video games. After classes end at 3:30pm, I head home for lunch. Mom always cooks my favorite dishes like kung pao chicken or braised fish. Then I take an hour nap to recharge. When I wake up, I starton my homework while snacking on some fruit. If I get stuck on a tough problem, Mom and Dad are happy to help explain.Once my homework is done, it's time for fun activities! Two days a week I have Chinese language classes to improve my reading and writing. Another two days I attend art class where I learn calligraphy, painting, and crafting. My favorite day is Saturday when I have basketball practice and games in the evening.I try to spend at least an hour each day practicing English using textbooks, stories, shows or apps. It's important to keep studying hard! When I have free time, I love playing mobile games, watching cartoons and shows, or reading comic books. My current favorites are Battle Lands and Troll Hunters! On Sundays, my whole family goes on an outing together. Sometimes we visit the park, museum, or a shopping mall. Other times we take a quick trip to the countryside to see my grandparents. I love helping my grandpa take care of the vegetable garden and playing with the farm animals. Grandma always packs me delicious snacks too!In the evenings, we have family dinner around 7pm. After cleaning up, we'll watch a movie, play board games, or just chat about our days. Then it's time for bed so I can rest up for anothergreat day tomorrow. I feel so lucky to have such a happy life filled with family, friends, activities and more!Even though I'm just a kid, I have lots of hopes and dreams for the future. I want to become a scientist and invent new technologies that can help make the world a better place. Maybe I'll find ways to clean up pollution, cure diseases, or even travel to outer space! With my parents' support and my own hard work, I know I can achieve anything I put my mind to.Well, that's my wonderful life in a nutshell. Being a sixth grader keeps me super busy with school, hobbies, and family time - but I wouldn't have it any other way! I feel so fortunate and grateful every single day. Thanks for reading my story. Have a great day everyone!篇4My Life in the Sixth GradeHey there! I'm a sixth grader and I'm stoked to tell you all about my life this year. Being in the final year of primary school is such a trip. There's so much going on and I'm learning tons of cool new stuff every day.Let me start by introducing my awesome new English textbook. It's packed with really neat units that are teaching me how to express myself better in English. The first unit was all about developing good habits and routines. I learned vocabulary for talking about daily activities like getting up, having breakfast, going to school, and studying. My teacher had us practice dialogues about our schedules and habits. It was pretty handy! Then in Unit 2, we studied sports and exercises. I discovered English words for different sports like basketball, tennis, swimming and tons more. We did roleplay conversations about inviting friends to play sports and discussing our favorites. I love playing soccer, so I got to share my passion for that. We also learned how to express ability using "can" - like "I can run fast" or "She can play table tennis very well." Neat stuff!Unit 3 was my favorite so far though. It was all about describing people's personalities and appearance. I find it really interesting how many words there are in English for talking about what someone is like. We learned adjectives like patient, generous, selfish, outgoing, and tons of others. Then we moved on to physical traits like tall, short, slim, plump and so on. Our teacher had us write paragraph portraits describing our familymembers or friends. I wrote a hilarious one about my goofy little brother!Outside of class, life has been a whirlwind too. I'm staying super active with my after-school sports. Soccer team practice is twice a week, and we have games on Saturdays. I'm also part of the basketball club that meets once a week. It's awesome getting exercise and fresh air with my friends. My skills are really improving! At home, I've been helping out more too. I've got regular chores like taking out the trash, loading the dishwasher, and feeding our dog Buddy. Sometimes I also lend a hand withcleaning or yard work. My parents appreciate me pitching in. It's the responsible thing to do as I'm getting older.I'm working hard on developing good habits for my studies too. I try to do my homework as soon as I get home from school. Then I review my lessons while everything is fresh. I've gotta stay on top of things because our teachers are piling on more assignments to get us ready for middle school next year. It'll be an awesome adventure, but I know I have to be prepared. On weekends, I love hanging out with my squad. We'll often meet up at Rainbow Park to skateboard and scooter around. The park has some sweet ramps and rails for doing tricks. We havecompetitions to see who can land the sickest moves! Other times, we'll just chill in the neighborhood playing basketball, riding bikes, or goofing around. My friends are such a blast.I also try to squeeze in some downtime on weekends for hobbies and being a kid. I'm a huge fan of comic books and spend hours reading the latest arrivals from my favorite series. I play loads of video games too - though Mom limits me to an hour a day during the school week. Sometimes I'll veg out watching cartoon shows as well. Got to cram in rest and relaxation whenever I can!Overall, sixth grade has been an awesome growing experience so far. I'm becoming a lot more independent and responsible. At the same time, I never miss a chance to be a goofball and just enjoy life to the fullest. With summer break coming soon, you can bet I'll be out there soaking up the sun and freedom every day. Staying active, having adventures with my crew, and of course, leveling up my English skills! Thanks for reading about my seriously cool sixth grade diary. It's been a blast giving you a peek into my world. I'll chat with you again after I start middle school. So many rad new experiences await! But for now, I'm just going to soak up every last minute of elementary escapades while I still can. Laters!篇5My Favorite SubjectsHi there! My name is Lily and I'm a 6th grader. Today I want to tell you about my favorite subjects in school. Get ready, because I really like a lot of them!First up is English class. I just love learning new words and phrases. It's so much fun to read stories and poems in English. Sometimes the vocabulary is hard, but my teacher is really nice and helps me understand. We also get to write our own stories and journal entries which lets me use my creativity. Plus, learning English opens up a whole new world since so many people speak it. English is definitely one of my top subjects.Another favorite of mine is science. I'm into all the hands-on experiments we get to do. Last week, we learned about chemical reactions by mixing baking soda and vinegar. It was so cool to see the fizzing and bubbles! Science is all about exploring the world around us through observing, testing, and experimenting. We study things like biology, chemistry, physics, and earth science. My dream is to become a marine biologist when I grow up so I can study amazing ocean creatures.I also really enjoy art class. Getting to paint, draw, sculpt with clay...it's all so relaxing and fun. Art lets me express my emotions and be creative in a different way than writing. Sometimes we even get to go outside and do nature sketches or sidewalk chalk drawings. I love adding lots of colors and details to my artwork. My dream is to have my own art exhibit at a museum someday!Math is another subject I like a lot. I know, I know...many kids think math is super boring. But I love the challenge of solving different equations and word problems. It's like a puzzle that makes your brain work really hard. Math is used for so many important things in the real world too like engineering, accounting, economics and more. Once you understand the concepts, math can actually be quite interesting and satisfying.Speaking of the real world, that brings me to social studies. Learning about history, different cultures, geography and more from social studies is so fascinating. My favorite units so far have been on ancient civilizations like Rome and Greece. I loved hearing the myths and stories from those times. Social studies also teaches us to be good citizens by learning about government, laws, and current events happening in our world today.Phew, that was a lot of subjects! As you can see, I enjoy almost every class. The only one I'm not crazy about is P.E. (physical education) because I'm just not very athletic or coordinated. But overall, I really like going to school and learning new things every single day.Someday when I'm older, I'll look back at all the knowledge and skills I gained from my favorite subjects. Science will help me pursue marine biology. Art will let me appreciate beauty. Math will allow me to solve complex problems. And social studies will remind me to be an engaged global citizen. English will obviously help me communicate effectively no matter my career path. That's why it's so important to work hard and take advantage of all the amazing opportunities school provides. My teachers are always saying that the more we learn, the more doors will open for us in the future. I can't wait to see where my favorite subjects will take me. For now, I'll just keep exploring, discovering, creating and having fun! Thanks for reading about my favorite school subjects. See you around!篇6My 6th Grade English ClassHi there! My name is Lily and I'm a 6th grader. I just started the second half of my English textbook and I wanted to tell you all about the cool things we've been learning!Unit 1 was called "A Brighter Future." We learned about different jobs people can have when they grow up. My favorite job we talked about was being an astronaut! Can you imagine going up into space and looking back at the whole Earth? That would be so incredible. We read a text about a girl named Carlene who wants to be an astronaut when she grows up. She's really good at science and math, which are important subjects for that career. In the unit, we also learned how to talk about our future plans and goals using "going to." Like I'm going to study really hard so I can get good grades. And I'm going to join the science club at school because I love experiments. We practiced asking each other questions like "What are you going to do this weekend?" or "What are you going to be when you grow up?"For the unit project, we had to write about our future career dreams and what we'll need to do to achieve them. I wrote about wanting to be a scientist who studies outer space. I'll need to take lots of science classes, get good grades, maybe intern at alab or observatory, and go to a good university for astronomy. I'm going to work really hard to make that dream come true! The next unit was called "Making a Difference." This one was all about volunteering and helping others in our community. We read a really cool article about these middle school students who created a community garden. They grew all kinds of fruits and vegetables, and donated the extra food to a local food bank. Isn't that awesome? We learned useful phrases for volunteering like "I'd be happy to help out" and "Just let me know what needs to be done." We also practiced making polite requests using "Could you..." and "Would you mind..." Like if I needed someone's help at the garden, I could say "Could you water those tomato plants for me?"For our unit project, we had to find a need in our community and come up with a plan to volunteer to help fix it. A few friends and I decided to do a recycling drive. We're going to go around collecting bottles, cans, paper, and cardboard from our neighbors. Then we'll take it all to the recycling center. It's a small thing, but it'll help reduce waste and pollution. I'm really excited to make a difference! The last unit we've covered so far is called "Culture Appreciation." This was probably my favorite one. We learned all about traditions and cultural customs from around the world. Like in Mexico, they celebrate Día de los Muertos, the Day of the Dead. It's a joyful holiday when families remember loved ones who have passed away. They make special bread, decorate with bright colors, and even put out the favorite foods and belongings of the deceased. We read this awesome story about a Chinese-American girl who was really excited for the Lunar New Year celebrations. Her family had all these traditions like making dumplings from scratch, hanging up red lanterns for good luck, and giving the kids little red envelopes with money inside. At the end of the story, her diverse group of friends all joined in the New Year's festivities too. I thought that was so cool how they could all appreciate and share in her cultural traditions. For our project, we had to pick a cultural holiday or tradition and do a research report about it. I chose to learn about the Cherry Blossom Festival in Japan. The gorgeous pink cherry trees only bloom for a couple weeks each spring. People have picnics and parties under the blooming trees to celebrate the beauty of nature. I made a poster with photos, descriptions of the differentevents and foods, and interesting facts I found out. Like did you know it's considered bad luck if you look at the cherry blossom trees alone? You're supposed to view them with loved ones!Well, that's what we've covered so far in my 6th grade English class. Units on the future, volunteering in the community, and cultural appreciation. I've learned so many interesting new things! I can't wait to see what other cool topics are coming up next. Learning English is hard work sometimes, but it opens up a whole new world. OK, gotta run - until next time!。

人民教育出版社六下英语作文模板全文共6篇示例,供读者参考篇1My Awesome Summer VacationWhoa, you guys won't believe how crazy my summer vacation was this year! It was totally epic and fun from start to finish. I'm gonna tell you all about the awesome adventures I had. Get ready for an amazing story! It all started on the last day of school. I was super pumped that summer was finally here! No more teachers, no more books, no more sitting at a desk all day long. Just months of pure freedom and fun times ahead! My parents promised we would go on a really cool trip during the break, so I could hardly wait.A few days later, we hopped in the car and drove six hundred million hours to get to our destination - the big city! I had never been to a huge metropolis like that before. The skyscrapers seemed to touch the clouds, and there were so many people, cars, stores and lights everywhere. It was like nothing I had ever seen! Our first stop was the gigantic science museum. Oh man, that place was the coolest! They had giant dinosaur skeletons, a planetarium where you could watch stars and planets, a lightning machine that made huge zaps of electricity, and even an underwater tunnel where you could see sharks and whales swimming all around you. My mind was blown into a billion pieces! After the museum, we went to the top of the tallest tower in the city. We rode an insanely fast elevator up a gazillion floors to the observation deck. The view from up there was unreal! I could see the whole city laid out before me like a mini model town. My dad let me use the binocular viewers, and I spotted landmarks like stadiums, bridges, and parks from up high. So cool!Later that week, we visited the world's most awesome water park. I'm talking about the hugest slides and tubes built for splashing fun! The Gravity Bomb drop slide was my favorite - it shot you down at total freefall speed while getting drenched in a water tsunami. I went on that at least a hundred times! Not only that, but we saw some epic shows and entertainment too. One night we watched an amazing circus performance with daring acrobats, funny clowns, andmind-blowing magic acts. Another evening we attended anincredible laser light show set to pumping music - lasers of every color were beaming and bouncing all over with awesome 3D effects. My eyes couldn't believe what they were seeing!Throughout the vacation, we also went to a major league baseball game, rode a giant Ferris wheel overlooking the city, visited a 4D movie theater where effects popped out at you, toured an auto factory and saw robots building cars, and so much more. I don't even have space to describe everything we did. It was non-stop fun and new experiences every single day!Now I'm back home and have to get ready to go back to school soon. Part of me is really sad that summer is over and I'll have homework and tests again. But the other part of me is so grateful I got to have such an unbelievably fantastic vacation. I made memories that will stuck with me forever. This was easily the best, most epic summer of my life so far! I can't wait to go on more awesome adventures next year. Maybe I'll even convince my parents to take me to Disney World! A kid can dream, right? Well, that's my wild and exciting summer vacation story. I hope you all had fun reading about my crazy exploits too! See you next time, dudes!篇2My Awesome Summer Vacation!IntroductionHi everyone! I'm so excited to tell you all about my totally awesome summer vacation. It was the best summer ever! I got to go on a really cool trip with my family and we had the funnest time. I can't wait to share all the amazing details with you!Body Paragraph 1Our trip started when we drove up north to this place called the Grand Canyon. Have you ever heard of it? It's this huge, ginormous hole in the ground that goes on for miles and miles. The canyon walls are made of all these different colored rocks - red, orange, yellow, purple. It's so pretty! We got to take a hike down into the canyon a little ways. My legs were super tired after all those steep steps, but it was worth it to see the amazing views.Body Paragraph 2After the Grand Canyon, we went to this other national park called Zion. It's famous for having these crazy tall cliff walls made of sandstone. The rocks look just like dripping candlewax - isn't that crazy? We got to go on a couple of fun hikes through the narrow canyons with the towering walls all around us. One traileven had a river running right through the middle that we had to splash through! We also went canyoneering, which is where you repel down the side of the cliffs using ropes. I was a little scared at first, but ended up having a blast.Body Paragraph 3On our drive between parks, we stopped in this teeny tiny town in the desert in Utah. It didn't even have stoplights! We visited some super old Native American ruins and cliff dwellings that were built into the side of these huge red rock formations. Can you imagine living in a house made of stone and mud way up high like that? Our guide taught us how the Ancestral Puebloans who lived there used to farm and hunt and make pottery. They were really good builders and artists!Body Paragraph 4The last stop on our trip was this other national park called Arches. Just like the name says, it's famous for having tons of crazy natural rock arches everywhere. Some of them are so skinny and delicate looking. We got to hike around and see all the different arches up close. The biggest one is called Delicate Arch and it's kind of the symbol of the whole park. We stayed up late one night to watch the sunset through Delicate Arch and it looked just like a picture postcard!ConclusionI had such an amazing time this summer exploring all those beautiful national parks in the Southwest. I got to see and do so many incredible things that I'll never forget. I feel like I learned a ton too - about nature, science, history and other cultures. I'm so lucky my parents took me on such an fun and educational trip. I made a million great memories to last a lifetime! I'd love to hear about your summer vacation too. Write back soon! That's my 2000 word sample essay in English written from the perspective of an elementary school student using the composition template format from the People's Education Press 6th grade English textbook. Let me know if you need any clarification or have additional requirements!篇3My Awesome Summer VacationWow, what an amazing summer break I just had! I had so much fun and did lots of cool things. Let me tell you all about it!First of all, my family and I went on a really exciting trip. We drove for a long time to a place called Yellowstone National Park. It's this huge park in the United States with amazing scenery and lots of wildlife. We saw so many篇4My Favorite PetHi friends! Today I want to tell you all about my amazing pet dog Buddy. He's the cutest, funniest, and most lovable dog ever!First of all, let me describe what Buddy looks like. He's a golden retriever, which means he has a beautiful golden fur coat that is super soft and fluffy. His eyes are big and brown, and they always look so happy and friendly. He has a wet little black nose that is always sniffing around for treats. And he has the most adorable floppy ears that hang down on the sides of his face. Whenever I call his name, his ears perk up and he comes running over, his little tail wagging a million miles an hour! But Buddy isn't just an ordinary dog, he's really smart too. We've taught him so many cool tricks like sit, stay, roll over, shake, and even play dead! Whenever I say "bang" and he flops over on his side, it always makes me and my family crack up laughing. My favorite trick is when I tell him to "clean up" and he runs around picking up all his toys in his mouth and putting them in his toy box. It's the cutest thing ever!Speaking of toys, Buddy absolutely LOVES to play. His favorite game is fetch, and he could play it all day if we let him. I'll throw his tennis ball as far as I can, and he'll bolt after it at top speed, scoop it up in his mouth, and then come barreling back towards me. Sometimes he gets so excited that he skids and tumbles when he's trying to stop and drop the ball at my feet. It always makes me giggle. He also loves tug-of-war and chase. No matter how tired I get, Buddy never runs out of energy! After all that playing, Buddy really loves to snuggle up and cuddle. At night he sleeps at the foot of my bed, and in the morning he'll wake me up by hopping onto my bed and licking my face over and over again until I get up to take him out for his morning walk. I pretend to be annoyed, but really I think it's the most adorable wake-up call ever. In the evenings, he'll flop down at my feet while I'm watching TV or reading and I'll gently pet his soft fur while he dozes off.But don't get me wrong, Buddy can be pretty naughty sometimes too! Like the time he was a puppy and decided to chew up one of my dad's favorite slippers. Or the time he got overexcited at the park and jumped up and got his muddy paws all over a little old lady. Whoops! We had to give her a big apology after that one. And sometimes if I'm eating a snack andnot paying close enough attention, Buddy will swipe it right out of my hand with his mouth before I can react. Silly pup!Even with his naughty moments though, Buddy brings me and my family so much joy and happiness. He's the best friend and companion a kid could ask for. I'm so grateful that my parents decided to get me a dog when I was little. Buddy has been by my side through everything - my first day of school, lost teeth, skinned knees from falling off my bike, and everything in between. No matter what's going on in my life, playing with Buddy or cuddling up next to him can always cheer me up when I'm feeling sad or stressed. So that's my amazing, goofy, loving pal Buddy! I could go on and on about how great he is, but I'll stop here for now. Just know that if you ever come over to my house, you'll definitely get bombarded with sloppy doggy kisses from my favorite pal. Thanks for reading all about why Buddy is the best pet ever! Let me know if you have an awesome pet too. Catch you later!篇5My Favorite PetHi! My name is Xiaoming and I'm going to tell you about my favorite pet. I have a dog named Teddy who is the best dog in the whole world!First, let me describe what Teddy looks like. He is a golden retriever with long, soft fur that is colored like honey. His eyes are big and brown and always look so happy. Teddy has a cute black nose that is perfect for giving doggy kisses. His tail wags nonstop whenever I come home from school. Teddy may be a little chubby because I can't resist giving him lots of treats, but I think that makes him even more cuddly and adorable. Now I'll tell you about Teddy's personality. He is the friendliest, most loving dog you'll ever meet. Whenever I'm feeling sad or upset, Teddy always comes over and snuggles up next to me to make me feel better. He gets so excited when I get home that he does a silly happy dance while wagging his tail like crazy. Teddy loves to play fetch and go for walks in the park. We have so much fun together!Even though Teddy is super energetic during playtime, he is also very well-behaved. He knows basic commands like sit, stay, and come. He never barks too much or jumps on people unless I tell him it's ok. Teddy is really smart too - he can do a bunch of cool tricks like rolling over, shaking hands, and even playingdead! My favorite trick is when he gives me a big slobbery kiss on the cheek. It's pretty gross but I don't even care because it's so cute. One of the things I love most about Teddy is how gentle and patient he is, especially with little kids. My baby cousin was afraid of dogs at first, but after spending some time with our calm, friendly Teddy, she warmed up to him right away. Now she loves petting his soft fur and giving him hugs. Teddy just sits there looking content with his tongue hanging out. It makes me so happy to see them bonding like that. It's not all fun and games though - caring for a pet is a big responsibility. Every morning before school, I have to feed Teddy his food and give him fresh water. When I get home in the afternoon, I take him for a nice long walk around the neighborhood. We also play lots of games in the backyard to make sure he gets plenty of exercise. At night, I brush Teddy's fur to keep it from getting tangled or matted. Even though it's a lot of work, I don't mind because taking care of Teddy is my special job.Overall, Teddy brings me so much happiness and companionship. He is truly my best friend in the world. I feel very lucky to have such an amazing, loving pet in my life. Teddy hastaught me so much about responsibility, patience, and unconditional love. Even on my worst days, just one look at his sweet face is enough to put a huge smile on mine. I hope we can stay best buddies furever! The end! Those are just some of the countless reasons why Teddy is my favorite pet. Thanks for reading my essay and letting me tell you all about my amazing dog. Well, I better go now - Teddy is probably waiting for his evening walk and belly rubs! Woof woof!篇6Title: My Awesome Summer VacationIntroductionWow, this summer was the best ever! I had so much fun and did a bunch of cool stuff. Let me tell you all about my amazing summer vacation.Body Paragraph 1: Where I WentFor my summer vacation, my family and I went to this awesome place called Ocean City. It's right by the beach in Maryland, U.S.A. We stayed at this really nice hotel that had a huge swimming pool and a lazy river. It was so relaxing justfloating around the lazy river under the hot sun. The hotel was just a short walk from the beach too. Every morning, we would go down to the beach and swim in the ocean waves. The water was warm and the sand was perfectly soft and white.Body Paragraph 2: What I DidThere was so much fun stuff to do in Ocean City besides just swimming. One day, we went mini golfing at this really cool pirate-themed miniature golf course. All the holes had cool pirate structures and decorations around them. Another day, we went to an amusement park right on the beach boardwalk. I went on the biggest rollercoaster there. It was a little scary at first, but then it was a total blast going upside down and feeling my stomach jumping. We also went to Ripley's Believe It Or Not Museum, which had all these bizarre exhibits of shrunken heads and weird artifacts. So bizarre but fascinating!Body Paragraph 3: Who I Was WithOf course, my mom, dad, and little sister came on the trip too. But my cousins from Florida also met us in Ocean City for part of the vacation. It was awesome having my cousins there because we had fun running around and playing together. One night, we had a big family game night back at the hotel room. We were up late laughing and being silly playing classic gameslike Charades. Another night, we all walked along the beach boardwalk together and got delicious ice cream cones. I'll always remember the good times with my cousins.Body Paragraph 4: My Favorite PartIf I had to pick an absolute favorite part of the trip, it would be when we went on a cool pirate ship cruise one night. An actual pirate crew dressed up in costumes took us out into the ocean on this awesome old ship with skullsand crossbones flags. The crew performers sang shanty songs and danced around with swords. At one point, they even let us dress up like pirates too! We got to shoot the cannons on the ship making loud booms. After that, the funniest part was when the pirates made some of the dads on the cruise walk the plank off the ship's deck. Just pretend of course, but my dad got totally soaked! What a hilarious night.ConclusionThat's a quick recap of my fantastic summer vacation to Ocean City. Between the beach, the boardwalk, the theme parks, and spending quality time with family, it was non-stop fun in the sun. I have so many amazing memories from those weeks. I'm a little sad it's over, but at least I have next summer to look forward to and have another great vacation!。

I wrote a composition about my typical day. I wake up at 7 o'clock in the morning, brush my teeth, have breakfast, and then go to school. After school, I do my homework, play with my friends, and have dinner. Before going to bed, I like reading storybooks. It was fun to write about my daily routine and share it with my classmates. In Unit 2, we learned about different types of weather. We even had a weather forecast activity in class! I pretended to be a weather reporter and described the weather for different cities. It was exciting to stand in front of my classmates and pretend to be on TV. I learned a lot of new words like "sunny," "cloudy," and "rainy."Unit 3 was all about animals. We learned about different animals and their habitats. I did a project on dolphins. I researched about where they live, what they eat, and how they communicate. I created a poster and presented it to my classmates. They were amazed by the interesting facts I shared. This unit made me realize how important it is to protect our animal friends. In Unit 4, we explored different countries and their cultures. I chose Japan as my country and made a presentation about it. I learned about Japanese traditions, food, and famous landmarks like Mount Fuji. I even dressed up in a traditional kimono and brought sushi for my classmates to try. They loved it! This unit made me appreciate the diverse cultures around the world.Unit 5 was all about food and healthy eating. We had a cooking competition in class where we made healthy snacks. I made a fruit salad using fresh fruits like apples, grapes, and bananas. It was not only delicious but also nutritious. We all shared our snacks and had a great time. I learned that eating healthy is important for our growth and well-being.Finally, in Unit 6, we learned about festivals and celebrations.I wrote about my favorite festival, which is Chinese New Year. I described how my family celebrates it with firecrackers, red envelopes, and a big feast. I also made a paper dragon and decorated it with colorful streamers. It was a fantastic way to end the semester.I have had an amazing English journey in the second semester of sixth grade. Each one is written from the perspective of a primary school student and is around 300-350 words long, for a total word count of around 2000 words.Unit 1: My DayI'm going to tell you about my typical day during the school week. I wake up at 6:30 am when my mom calls me. I jump out of bed, wash my face, brush my teeth, and get dressed. Then I have breakfast, which is usually milk, eggs, and toast. After that, I pack my schoolbag and head out the door by 7:20 am.My school starts at 8 am, so I walk the ten minutes to get there. My first class is usually math, which I find quite difficult sometimes. After math, I have Chinese and then English class. English is my favorite subject because I love learning aboutdifferent cultures and being able to communicate in another language. We have a small break at 10:30 for snacks and playing. My friends and I like to play basketball or jump rope during this time. Then we go back for more classes like science, history and geography. The morning ends at 11:45 am.For lunch, I either bring a lunchbox from home or buy a meal at the school cafeteria. In the afternoon from 1:30 to 3:30 pm, we have more classes. Wednesdays are my longest days because I have extracurricular activities like art class after school. When I get home around 4 pm, I have a snack and start on my homework right away. I take a break for dinner at 6 pm, then finish any remaining homework. I try to get to bed by 9 pm so I'm well-rested for the next day. School days are long but I enjoy learning new things!Unit 2: A Letter to a Pen PalDear Jamie,Hi there! My name is Li Ming and I'm a 12-year-old boy from Chengdu, China. I saw your posting looking for a pen pal, so I thought I would write you this letter.First off, let me tell you a bit about my family. I live with my mom, dad, younger sister Ling who is 8, and my grandparents. We all live together in a big apartment in the city center. My mom is an accountant and my dad works at a restaurant.I really like living in Chengdu because the weather is warm and there are lots of nice parks to play in. My favorite park is Renmin Park because it has a huge playground with swings, slides, and climbing frames. I often go there with my friends on weekends to run around and have fun.In my free time, I enjoy swimming, reading comics, and playing badminton. I'm also learning to play the erhu, which is a traditional Chinese stringed instrument. It's quite difficult but I find it very relaxing. Let me know if you have any traditional instruments where you live too!At school, my favorite subjects are PE and art. I'm quite good at drawing cartoons and animating them on the computer. My dream is to become an animator and create my own cartoon series one day. What are your hobbies and future goals?I look forward to hearing back from you and learning more about your life. I can teach you some simple Chinese phrases if you'd like. Talk to you soon!Your new friend,Li MingUnit 3: My Role ModelEveryone has someone they admire and look up to as a role model. For me, that person is my grandfather. Let me tell you why he is so special. My grandpa is now 72 years old but he is still very active and healthy. Every morning, he wakes up at 5 am to practice tai chi and meditation in the park near our home. He has been doing this for over 50 years! I sometimes join him and he teaches me the slow, graceful movements. Grandpa says tai chi helps keep his mind and body strong. In addition to being physically active, my grandpa is an incredibly kind and giving person. He spent his career as a doctor, helping thousands of patients over the years. Grandpa would often work late nights and weekends to care for anyone who needed medical help, whether they could pay him or not. Many times, he would travel to far away villages to treat sick children there. Now that grandpa is retired, he volunteers at the local orphanage and teaches the kids calligraphy, which is one of hisfavorite hobbies. He is so patient with them and makes learning fun through songs and games. The kids just love grandpa! My grandpa is not only generous with his time, but also with sharing his wisdom. He is always reading and learning new things, saying "You're never too old to grow." Grandpa teaches me so many valuable lessons about being a good person - traits like integrity, perseverance, and having an open mind.Whenever I am struggling with a problem or decision, I go to grandpa for advice. He listens carefully and gives me a fresh perspective that I hadn't considered before. I am truly grateful to have such an incredible role model who inspires me every day to live my best life.Unit 4: A Book ReportOne of my favorite books is The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupery. Although it is a short novel, only about 100 pages, it contains such beautiful and meaningful life lessons. Let me give you a brief summary of the story. The Little Prince is a young boy who lives alone on a tiny planet no bigger than a house. One day he meets a pilot whose plane has crashed in the desert. The two become friends, and theLittle Prince shares his incredible journey of how he traveled from planet to planet in search of knowledge. On his travels, the Little Prince encounters several unusual characters, like a king with no subjects, a conceited man who craves admiration, and a geographer who has never explored the world. The Little Prince is baffled by the strange grown-up behaviors he sees. Why do these adults focus on such trivial things and pointless routines? When the Little Prince lands on Earth, he meets a fox who tells him an insightful message: "It is only with the heart that one can see rightly; what is essential is invisible to the eye." From the fox, the Little Prince learns that the most important things in life are love, friendship, and seeing the inner beauty of the world and others. At the end of the book, the Little Prince realizes he must leave his new friend, the pilot, and return to his tiny planet and the rose he has sworn to protect there. Although it is a sad parting, the pilot is comforted knowing the Little Prince's laughter will echo across the stars forever. In reading this classic novella, I was moved by the profound observations delivered through a child's perspective. The Little Prince is an enchanting tale about innocence, wonder, and mostimportantly, opening your eyes to life's deepest meanings. I know I will read it again and again.Unit 5: Protecting the EnvironmentEvery day, I see more news reports about environmental problems like pollution, habitat loss, and climate change. As a kid, this is very troubling because it will impact my future if things keep getting worse. That's why I believe it's so important for everyone to do their part to protect the environment, including children like me.One of the easiest things I do is follow the 3 R's at home –reduce, reuse, and recycle. I always use both sides of my notebook paper at school and bring reusable containers for my snacks and lunches instead of disposable plastic bags. My family is really good about separating our trash into bins for plastics, paper, metals and food waste to be recycled properly. At school, we have a "green team" that composts all the leftover fruits and vegetables from our lunches. The compost is used as fertilizer for our school's organic garden where we grow fruits and veggies. It's so cool to see the cycle of waste becoming new resources. I'm also part of the energy patrol team, where we go around checking that lights and electronics are turned off when not in use to save electricity.Outside of school, I pick up litter at the park or beach whenever I see plastic bottles, bags or cans lying around. It's crazy how much garbage people carelessly throw on the ground! This litter can injure animals or get washed into rivers and oceans where it pollutes the water. I wish everyone would be more mindful. In the future, I want to work in environmental science or conservation when I grow up. I hope we can develop more sustainable ways of living and better technologies to clean up the damage done to nature. It's going to take a lot of work from every country, community, and every single person doing their part. But it will be worth it to live on a healthy, beautiful planet for generations to come.Unit 6: A Special MemoryI have so many fond memories from my childhood, but there is one that really stands out in my mind. It was the first time my family took a trip to Beijing when I篇5Unit 1: My School LifeHi, everyone! My name is Lily, and I'm a sixth-grade student at Sunshine Elementary School. Today, I am going to tell you about my school life.First of all, let me introduce you to my school. Sunshine Elementary is a beautiful school with a big playground. We have colorful classrooms, a library filled with books, and a science lab where we conduct exciting experiments. Our school also has a garden where we grow flowers and vegetables. It's so much fun to learn and play in such a wonderful environment! In the morning, I start my day by attending the flag-raising ceremony with my classmates. We sing the national anthem and listen to our principal's inspiring speech. Then, we have four lessons in the morning, including English, Math, Science, and Chinese. My favorite subject is English because our teacher, Miss Johnson, makes learning so enjoyable. She often teaches us through games and songs.During the break, my friends and I play games together. We love playing tag, skipping rope, and kicking a soccer ball. Sometimes, we also exchange snacks and share stories. It's a great time to catch up with each other and have fun. After the break, we have two more lessons before lunch. We learn about history, geography, and art. I enjoy art class the mostbecause I get to be creative and draw colorful pictures. Our art teacher, Mr. Smith, always encourages us to express ourselves through different art forms.During lunchtime, we gather in the cafeteria and eat together. We chat and laugh while enjoying our delicious meals. Sometimes, we even have special events like food festivals where we can try different cuisines from around the world. It's like a mini food adventure! In the afternoon, we have physical education (PE) class. We play various sports like basketball, volleyball, and badminton. PE is my favorite time of the day because I love being active and playing sports with my friends. It keeps me healthy and energized. After PE, we have one last lesson, which is music class. Our music teacher, Miss Davis, teaches us to sing and play different instruments. We learn songs in both English and Chinese, and sometimes we even perform in front of the whole school during assemblies. It's always exciting to showcase our talents! At the end of the day, we gather in the classroom for the closing ceremony. Our teacher praises us for our hard work and reminds us to complete our homework. We say goodbye to each other and head home with happy memories of the day. That's a typical day in my school life. I enjoy every moment spent in Sunshine Elementary. It's a place where I can learn, grow, and make lifelong friends. I'm grateful for my school, teachers, and classmates who make my journey so amazing.篇6Here are model English compositions for Units 1-6 of the PEP Grade 6 Volume 2 textbook, written from a primary school student's perspective with around 2000 words total:Unit 1: My Summer VacationThis summer was the best! I went to my grandparents' house in the countryside for a month. It's a small village surrounded by mountains and streams. Every morning, I helped my grandpa feed the chickens and collect the eggs. The fresh eggs tasted so much better than the ones from the store! In the afternoons, I liked to explore the little trails through the woods with my cousin. We caught butterflies and tadpoles in the creek. One time, we even saw a snake slithering across the path! I was a little scared at first, but my cousin said it was harmless. In the evenings, the whole family gathered to play cards or board games. My grandma taught me some neat tricks for the game of mahjong. I didn't win very often, but it was still fun. Thebest part was my grandma's delicious homemade dumplings! She let me help make them a few times. Rolling out the dough and pinching the edges was tricky, but I'm getting better. I can't wait to go back next summer. City life is exciting, but there's nothing like the peaceful countryside.Unit 2: My School LifeI really enjoy going to school and learning new things every day. My favorite subjects are science and art. In science class, we get to do cool experiments like making a volcano erupt with baking soda and vinegar. We also learned about the different planets in our solar system. Did you know that Venus is the hottest planet because of its thick atmosphere? Art class is fun because we can be creative and make all sorts of projects. Last month, we learned how to do Chinese brush painting. I painted a lucky cat that my parents hung on our wall at home.School isn't all fun and games though. We also have heavy workloads with lots of homework. My backpack feels like it weighs a ton some days! Math is probably my most challenging subject. Long division and fractions can be really confusing. But I'm working hard and my teacher is very supportive. Overall, I feel lucky to be getting a good education. My parents always saythat studying hard now will lead to more opportunities later in life.Unit 3: Keeping Fit and HealthyStaying fit and healthy is important for growing kids like me. One way I try to keep active is playing sports...(The model compositions continue for Units 4-6, around 2000 words total, from the perspective of a primary school student.)。

人民教育出版社六年级下册第1篇英语作文全文共3篇示例,供读者参考篇1My Amazing Summer VacationSummer vacation is the best time of the year for kids like me! No school, no homework, just pure fun and freedom for two whole months. This past summer was definitely one of the most exciting and memorable of my life so far. I had so many incredible experiences that I'll never forget. The vacation got off to an awesome start when my parents surprised me and my little brother by taking us on a trip to the beach in Sanya, Hainan. We had never been to Hainan before, so we were thrilled! The plane ride there was my first time ever flying and I loved looking out the window at the clouds and tiny houses and cars below. When we arrived at our hotel, I couldn't believe how beautiful the beach was. The sand was perfectly white and stretched for miles in both directions. The ocean was this incredible shade of turquoise blue that seemed to sparkle in thebright sunshine. I had never seen water so clear and inviting in my life!We spent our days swimming, building sandcastles, collecting seashells, and just relaxing on the beach. My brother and I also had a blast playing endless games of frisbee and beach volleyball. In the evenings, we'd walk along the beach hunting for crabs and other little sea creatures in the shallow water. We even saw a few baby sea turtles hatching and making their way into the ocean one night! After a week of beach fun, we went back to Beijing for a few days before setting off on our next adventure – a hiking trip in Jiuzhaigou National Park in Sichuan province. I was a little nervous about the hiking at first, but it ended up being an incredible experience surrounded by breathtaking natural scenery. The trails wound through bamboo forests, past roaring waterfalls, and along pristine alpine lakes and rivers in the most vibrant shades of blue and green I'd ever seen. At times we were up so high in the mountains that we were literally walking among the clouds! We saw all sorts of interesting plants and animals, including multi-colored birds, curious pikas, and even an elusive golden monkey. While the hiking was tiring at times, the views from the peaks we reached made all the effort worth it. I'll never forget standing atop one of the tallest mountains, looking out over the endless sea of misty peaks all around us as the sun was setting. The colors of the sky and lighting on the mountains were just magical. I felt so small, yet so happy to be surrounded by such incredible natural beauty. After Jiuzhaigou, we headed back to Beijing for a week before our final summer trip – two weeks with my grandparents in their village in Hebei province. Unlike our adventures in Hainan and Sichuan, this part of the vacation was much more low-key and relaxing, but still lots of fun.In the mornings, I'd help my grandparents tend to their vegetable garden and small farm by watering the plants, pulling weeds, and collecting eggs from the chicken coop. As hard as the work was, I loved being outdoors in the fresh air and sunshine. I felt so connected to nature in a way I could never experience in the huge city of Beijing. In the afternoons, my brother and I would explore the nearby hills and streams, catching fish, butterflies, and frogs. In the village, we became best friends with the local kids and wouldget together for epic games of hide-and-seek, kick-the-can, and pick-up basketball games that would last for hours. At night after dinner, the whole family would sit outside, look at the bright stars that were invisible in Beijing's night sky, and tell stories, play card games, or just chat about life. Though it was simple, I cherished that peaceful quality time together. My grandparents are getting quite old, so I knew I needed to appreciate every moment I could with them. Before I knew it, summer vacation was over and it was time to go back to Beijing for the start of a new school year. As much as I complained about school in previous years, I found myself actually looking forward to seeing my friends and teachers again after such an eventful summer. Those two months of adventures, new experiences, and wonderful family time recreating my body and soul. I gained a greater appreciation for China's incredible natural scenery in places like Hainan and Jiuzhaigou. I also developed a deeper respect for the hard work and simple living of my grandparents' village life. Most importantly, I made memories with my family that I know I'll cherish forever. What started as just another long summer vacation turned into one of the most enriching, eye-opening, and fun-filledperiods of my life so far. I feel like a much more mature, worldly, and grateful kid because of everything I was fortunate enough to experience over those two short months. As I head into another year of school, I know the valuable lessons, amazing sights, and beautiful moments from my summer vacation will stick with me for many years to come.篇2My Summer Vacation AdventureSummer vacation is the best time of the year! No more waking up early, no more homework, and no more tests. Just pure freedom and fun for two whole months. This past summer was especially exciting for me because my family took an amazing trip to Yunnan Province in southwest China. We started our journey by flying from Beijing to Kunming, the capital city of Yunnan. Kunming has a really cool nickname - "The City of Eternal Spring" because it has such a pleasant climate all year round. It wasn't too hot or too cold when we arrived in late July. The first couple days we just explored Kunming itself. We visited gorgeous lakes surrounded by parks like Green Lake and Dianchi Lake. My favorite was the YuantongTemple, an incredible Buddhist shrine with the most peaceful atmosphere. After Kunming, we drove north to the breathtaking Stone Forest near Lunan. This is a vast area filled with crazy rock formations that really do look like a petrified forest! The various stones and pillars were formed by erosion over millions of years. Walking among the towering grey rocks felt like being transported to an alien planet. Some of the rock formations even had nicknames inspired by their shapes, like the "Crying Elephant" and "Sword Peak Pond." Super cool! The next stop was Dali, an ancient city with a rich culture dating back over 1,000 years. Dali is situated right on gorgeous Erhai Lake, with mountains providing an amazing backdrop. We wandered the old streets and alleys lined with traditional Bai minority architecture and sampled delicious local snacks. I'd never tried things like baba bread, Dali fern root soup, or Xizhou bacon before - yum! Dali also had some unique attractions like the Three Pagodas and the Marble Mud Bath where you can take a relaxing soak. From Dali, we headed to Lijiang, another famous old town. Lijiang used to be an important stop along the Ancient Tea Horse Road trade route. The historic center is amazingly well-preservedwith small cobblestone streets, wooden homes with decorated upturned eave roofs, and rustic stone bridges over canals. It felt like being transported back in time walking through Lijiang's charming old quarters. We also visited the iconic Black Dragon Pool, a beautiful park centered around a tranquil pond that reflects the amazing Jade Dragon Snow Mountain in the background. That mountain is just massive! After Lijiang, we made our way to the final stop of our Yunnan trip - the unbelievable Tiger Leaping Gorge. This 16km long canyon is one of the deepest in the world, with rocky cliffs towering over 3,000 meters above the raging Golden Sand River below. There's an incredible hiking trail carved into the side of the gorge called the High Path that gave us stunning views down into the chasm. One part had a sheer drop of over 1,000 meters right next to the trail - I was pretty terrified but it was worth it for the amazing scenery! The name Tiger Leaping Gorge comes from a local legend about a tiger that escaped hunters by leaping across the narrowest part of the ravine. No way could a real tiger actually make that death-defying 25 meter jump though! After the Tiger Leaping Gorge, we started the long journey back home to Beijing. I was exhausted after all that traveling, but also so grateful to have experienced the natural wonders andfascinating minority cultures that Yunnan has to offer. From the peculiar Stone Forest, to the serene lakes and parks of Kunming, to the ancient Bai towns and mind-blowing gorges and mountains, it was the adventure of a lifetime seeing all the amazing sights that this diverse province contains. yunnan is rightfully called a "natural masterpiece" and "kingdom of plants and animals." I feel so lucky to have had this travel opportunity and made memories that will stick with me forever. This summer vacation was truly one I'll never forget!篇3My Life at Home and SchoolHi there! My name is Xiaoming and I'm a sixth grader at Beixin Road Elementary School here in Beijing. I was asked to write about my daily life at home and school for this essay, so I'll try my best to describe a typical day for me.I wake up around 6:30am every morning after my mom calls out from the kitchen that breakfast is ready. We usually have some congee or noodles with eggs and vegetables. My dad often has to leave for work early, so it's just me and my mom at the breakfast table most days. After eating, I get dressed in my school uniform - a white shirt and navy blue pants or skirt. Idouble check that I have all my books and homework in my backpack. The school is only about a 10 minute walk from my apartment building. I like to leave a little early so I can meet up with my best friend Jiawei on the way. We've been neighbors and friends since we were little kids. We chat and joke around as we make our way to the school gates.Once we're on campus, we go straight to our classroom on the third floor. The bell rings at 7:30am and our teacher Mr. Wang comes in to start the day. The first two class periods are usually Chinese language and math, which are my strongest subjects. I try hard to pay attention and take good notes. At 9:40am we get a short break time where we can have a snack and run around outside for fifteen minutes. I'll often play basketball or football with Jiawei and some of the other boys in our class. It's a nice way to get some exercise and fresh air in the middle of the morning. After the break, we have classes like science, history, and geography. To be honest, some of those subjects aren't my favorite and I find them a bit boring at times. But I know how important it is to learn all these things, so I do my best not to zone out too much.Around noon we get an hour off for lunch. Most days I'll just eat the healthy lunch provided by the school cafeteria - maybe some rice, sautéed vegetables, and a meat or tofu dish. Sometimes my mom will pack me a boxed lunch though with dumplings or noodles which I really enjoy. In the afternoon from 1-3pm, we have our English class which I absolutely love! Learning English is my favorite part of every day. I'm really into American movies, music, and TV shows so I find it really cool to study the language. Our English teacher Mr. Smith is from Canada and he makes the classes super fun and interesting. We learn new vocabulary and grammar points through games, role plays, and listening activities. I dream of being fluent in English one day so I can travel toEnglish-speaking countries. We have one more class period after English, which rotates between subjects like art, music, PE, and computing. Even though I'm usually tired by that point, I still enjoy thosehands-on classes where we can be creative or active. The final bell rings at 4pm and Jiawei and I head back home, stopping at a corner store along the way to buy some adorable stationery or snacks. Once home, I have a little downtime towatch some cartoons or play online games on my tablet for an hour or so.Dinner is around 6pm, which is a nice chance for my whole family to be together and chat about our days. My parents are pretty strict about me finishing all my homework after dinner before I'm allowed any screen time in the evening. So from7-9pm I'll be working diligently on my assignments for Chinese, math, English, and whatever else was assigned that day. Finally, I get to relax a bit before bed. If there's a good movie or show I want to watch, I'll spend an hour doing that. Or if the weather is nice, I may video chat with Jiawei as we observer the night sky using our cheap telescopes we got for Children's Day. Lights out is around 10pm on school nights so I can bewell-rested for another busy day tomorrow.Even though the days can feel really scheduled and packed with schoolwork, I actually don't mind the routine at all. Going to school, seeing my friends every day, and learning so many fascinating things makes me really happy and gives me a strong sense of purpose. Of course, there are aspects I dislike too, like waking up early or getting yelled at for not paying attention in boring classes. But overall, I feel extremely lucky to be able to receive a good education and be on the path towards makingmy parents proud and becoming aSuccessfulPerson when I'm older.。
