However, a certain number of graduates are not in a hurry to hunt for jobs. They are just waiting for better chances. Toward this point of view, some experts warn that it is not wise to be just waiting. They advise that graduates should find a regular, full-time job as quickly as possible so that they can earn money to support themselves and get working experience, which will help to find a better position later. The favorite season in the year is coming.Everywhere we can see the scene of bumper crops: on the fields is golden rice,on the trees are ripe fruits. The farmers faces are full of smiles. They are now expecting a good harvest through a summer's hard work. The autumn evening is especially beautiful. When the setting sun goes slowly down to the west, the sky over the mountains is covered with red rays of evening sunlight, which shines upon the blue sky and floating clouds, just as the maple leaves fall onto the sky.It is getting cool at dusk. The wind blows, the moonlight shines on the ground, the frogs croak and insects chirp in the fields. Such a situation will make you forget all the unhappy things in the daytime.I love the beautiful season.2020高考英语优秀作文二In 2005, there was a reform in the system of College English Test, which meant college students would get their test marks and there would be no limit to the times they may attend the tests before they graduate. They can attend several times before graduation until getting the scores they expect. From my point of view, it's not necessary at all.To begin with, CET only proves one's qualification, and it's only a measurement of students'knowledge of basic knowledge. It can not necessarily tell everythingof one's English ability. Passing the tests can not prove that one can use English skillfully. It's the use of English that can tell one's English ability. Moreover, students should spend more time in their major courses, rather than in getting higher scores in CET. Preparing for CET is a huge job that costs a lot of time. College students should focus on improving their major skills and comprehensive skills. English is just used as a tool in communication, but the modern society needs those people who grasp perse skills. The companies and enterprises will take the candidate's ability on major courses into consideration rather than only the CET scores. From the discussions above, we can conclude that the score of CET-4 and CET-6 can't prove one's all-round ability as much as previously thought. Therefore, college students needn't to attend CET-4 or CET-6 repeatedly, and what they should do is try their best to improve their major courses and comprehensive skills.2005年,大学英语考试迎来一次改革。

Our class came up with the idea to make better use of used materials. We brought to our classroom worn-out clothes, pieces of cardboard and empty plastic bottles and turned those into dolls, handbags, tissue boxes and small vases. That weekend, we went to a nearby neighborhood and gave them away to the people there. All were very happy with those unexpected gifts, especially little kids and elderly people. We did so well that we were invited to share our idea and experience with all the students of our school. We are very proud of ourselves and believe we can do more for a better world. 译⽂: ⼀个更环保的地球的⾏动在地球⽇之前的⼀周,我们学校周围张贴了海报,呼吁我们加⼊⼀个更环保的地球的⾏动。

So do I. One day a special thing happened to me. And I learned a lesson that I shall never forget. It happened on a Wednesday morning last January, just before our final examation. I got to the reading-room very early to occupy a seat. I put a book on the desk and then went to have breakfast. But when I hurried back into the reading-room,我的第一个绘画老师(My First Drawing Teacher), I found someone was sitting on the seat which I had occupied in advance.I ran to him immediatly and shouted at him angrily, Go away. Its my seat. Everyone raised their eyes and stared at me unfriendly. My face turned red and I felt ashamed of myself. I took my book and fled helter-skelter before so many eyes.I dared not go to the reading-room for severaldays. I learned a lesson in the reading-room. Since then I have been keeping the lesson in mind: To be polite to everyone.20xx年英语高考作文优秀例文篇二Mr. Li was hurrying to attend a lesson of an Australian teacher when he caughtsight of the red light. In Gold Coast there were much fewer passers-by than inShanghai, especially at 1:30 p. m. when people were busy working. Nobody wouldhave noticed him had he neglected the red light. However, he waited, and waited for the green light. There might besomething wrong with the light, thought he, but anything against the traffic ruleswas out of the question, for he wass a visiting Chinese teacher. Just then came an oldAustralian gentleman, who felt surprised at the foreigner waiting alone by the road.Good afternoon, he said in Japanese, unexpectedly. What should they do with this extra income? While it is tempting for people to spend it all on things they desire, I believe it is better to save at least a portion of the extra income for the future.By saving money, people give themselves more security. They cannot predict the future; perhaps one day they will be jobless. At a time like this their savings can spare them a great deal of suffering and help to see them through the hard time. In addition, saving money allows people to build up a larger sum. They can then buy something more worthwhile than the small things they can but if they spend the money right away. For example, they may be able to buy a house with their savings. Finally, he practice of saving helps people develop the habit of setting goals and planning for their future. In this way they are bound to lead more meaningful and successful lives. Most people would like to enjoy their moneyimmediately. Nobody likes to wait for the things that he wants. However, if we learn to save our money, we cangain more advantages in the future. We will lead more secure and, thus, happier lives. We will also be able to buy the things we truly want but cannot afford right now.20xx年英语高考作文优秀例文篇四As is reported, Oriental Greenboat is planning to change its name. Many citizens as well as the foreigners have great interest in giving a new name such as Discovery Land Family Park or Youth Heaven. It suddenly occurs to me that why dont we call it The World of Discovery .Ive got several reasons to account for it.First of all, the word world has a more meaningful definition than park or land. According to my visit, Oriental Greenboat covers a vast area, and it is more appropriate to call it a world rather than a park.Secondly, Oriental Greenboat provide the chance to enhance the relationship between family members and promote friendship between the youth. Weare give the opportunity to relax and enjoy ,thus discovering what is of great importance in our life. Thirdly , students are involved in many activities there. They come to discover how they should cooperate and overcome the difficulties with their own efforts. This is a world for them to discover how wonderful and able they are!To sum up , I think it would be a wise choice to name it The World of Discovery.20xx年英语高考作文优秀例文篇五Good afternoon, everyone. The topic of my speech today is Being a Good Listener.Good listening can always show respect, promote understanding, and improve interpersonal relationship. Many people suggest that parents should listen more to their children, so they will understand them better, and find it easy to narrow the generation gap; teachers should listen more to their students, then they can meet their needs better, and place themselves in a good relationship with their students; studentsshould listen more to their classmates, thus they will help and learn from each other, and a friendship is likely to be formed. What I want to stress is that each of us should listen to others. Show your respect and never stop others till they finish their talk; show you are interested by a supportive silence or a knowing smile; be open-minded to different opinions even though you dont like them. In a word, good listening can really enable us to get closer to each other.Thank you for your listening!。

2020年全国一卷高考英语满分作文

2020年全国一卷高考英语满分作文

2020年全国一卷高考英语满分作文全文共6篇示例,供读者参考篇1My Big English Test AdventureHi there! My name is Xiaoming and I'm 10 years old. I just took the biggest test of my whole life so far – the 2020 national English exam for all of China! It was super tough but I actually got a perfect score. I'm going to tell you all about how I prepared and what the test was like. Get ready for an exciting story!First off, I've always loved learning English ever since I was a little kid. My parents started teaching me simple words and phrases when I was just 3 years old. We would go through alphabet books and they would help me sound out the letters. It was like a fun game! As I got a bit older, we added more vocabulary through things like flashcards and sang along to English nursery rhymes and songs. Bit by bit, year after year, my English skills grew stronger. When I started elementary school, English became one of my favorite classes. I was ahead of most of my classmates because of the early start my parents gave me. The teacherswould always praise me for my pronunciation and grammar knowledge. I devoured all the textbooks and worksheets, hungry to learn as much as I could. English opened up a whole new world for me through books, movies, TV shows and more.In 3rd grade, my parents hired a private English tutor for me named Ms. Wang. She came to our house once a week to give me extra lessons and practice. Ms. Wang was so kind and made learning fun with role-playing games and cool projects. With her help, I became an even stronger reader, writer, listener and speaker. My conversational skills particularly improved a ton.As I got closer to 6th grade and the big national exam, the intensity of my English studies went through the roof. My parents signed me up for weekend cram school classes to drill exam strategy and content. I would spend hours every night reviewing grammar rules, doing practice tests, and memorizing vocabulary lists. My beloved Ms. Wang increased our sessions to twice a week to proofread my writing and do mock speaking tests. I'll admit there were many times when I felt overwhelmed with stress and fatigue from the workload. But my parents kept encouraging me, saying "Hard work will pay off! Don't give up!"Finally, exam day arrived in June 2020. I was so nervous watching the clock run down to the start time. My hands wereshaking a bit as I bubbled in my name and student ID number on the answer sheet. Once the proctor said "Begin!", I took a deep breath and dive right in.The listening section was first. I zeroed in, trying to catch every word the speakers said through my headphones. Taking excellent notes on the details was key. Next came the reading comprehension passages. I employed my closest reading strategies, scouring each paragraph for context clues to find the correct answers to the questions. Staying focused was tough, but Ms. Wang had drilled into me not to rush and avoid careless mistakes. After a quick break, we launched into the writing sections. For the email response, I made sure to use proper greetings, grammar, and sign off. I packed it with persuasive reasons and examples just like Ms. Wang taught me. The essay was about my role model and I wrote all about how my mom inspires me with her intelligence, work ethic, and caring spirit. Describing her positive qualities in detail with colorful language really showcased my skills. The speaking section was last and honestly the most nervewracking part. I had to record myself answering questions and giving opinions into a microphone. But Ms. Wang'srole-playing games prepared me well to think and respond fluently. I envisioned her smiling face which calmed my nerves. When it was all over, I felt both exhausted and relieved as I turned in my test materials.A few weeks later, my parents received the scores in the mail. They shrieked with joy when they saw I had earned a perfect 150/150! All of my years of hard work, my parents' encouragement, and wonderful teachers like Ms. Wang had paid off in a huge way. We celebrated with my favorite dumplings and ice cream. I'll never forget that amazing feeling of accomplishment.Getting that perfect score on such an important test gave me a huge confidence boost. It showed me that with passion, perseverance and the right preparation, I can achieve any big goal I set my mind to. Who knows, maybe I'll be an international diplomat, traveling the world and speaking multiple languages one day! For now, I'm just really proud of my English skills and excited to keeping learning. The adventure continues!篇2My Awesome School LifeHi there! My name is Timmy and I'm in 5th grade. Today I want to tell you all about my super fun and exciting life at school. Get ready for an awesome adventure!First up, let me introduce you to my best friends – Jack, Emily, and Zoe. We've known each other since kindergarten and we do everything together. Jack is the class clown and always makes us laugh with his silly jokes. Emily is the smartest kid in our grade and helps us with our homework. Zoe is the artist and her drawings are amazing! Our favorite subject is recess! We love running around the playground, playing on the swings and seesaws, and having races. Sometimes we play kickball or dodgeball too. It's so much fun getting some fresh air and exercise. The only downside is when the bell rings to go back to class. We always groan and drag our feet, wishing recess could last forever!Speaking of class, we have some pretty cool teachers at our school. My favorite is Mrs. Henderson who teaches us science. She does all these wild experiments like making volcanos erupt with baking soda and vinegar. Once, she even brought her pet tarantula to show us! I'm not gonna lie, I was a little freaked out at first, but it was still awesome. Then there's Mr. Daniels, the gym teacher. He's kind of crazy but in a good way. He makes us do all these wacky exercises like crab walking and bunny hopping. We get so sweaty but we're always laughing because he's just so funny. Sometimes I wish he was my regular teacher! One of the best parts of the day is lunchtime in the cafeteria. The food isn't exactly gourmet, but it beats a boring old sandwich any day. My favorite is definitely Taco Tuesday – I could eat my weight in those things! And you can't forget about the chocolatey, gooey desserts. Ok, maybe I shouldn't have mentioned those or my mom will kill me...After school, there are so many fun clubs and activities to join. I'm in the art club, where we get to paint, sculpt with clay, and put our creativity to the test. Jack is on the basketball team and is actually pretty good. Emily obviously joined the math club because she's a total brainiac. And Zoe takes dance classes where she gets to pirouette and grand jete all over the place. When we're not doing extracurriculars, we love just hanging out at each other's houses. We'll play video games, watch movies, have sleepovers, you name it. My mom makes the best snacks like her famous triple chocolate chunk cookies. We'll stuffourselves silly and then run around outside to work off all those calories. And the carnival is just insane! There are rides, games, face painting, cotton candy — you get the picture. Emily always chickens out of going on the biggest roller coaster but Zoe has no fear. Me and Jack will ride that beast until we puke. Ok, maybe I shouldn't have said that either...my mom's gonna kill me twice!Anyway, that's a taste of my awesome school life. It's not all fun and games, sure, but where else can you learn crazy science experiments, play endless games at recess, and eat moderately edible cafeteria food? Nowhere, that's where! Elementary school is just the best.So that's it from me, dudes. I've got math homework to struggle through (ugh) and then I'm headed to Jack's place for a video game marathon. This was Timmy,篇3My Big DreamHi there! My name is Xiaomin and I'm 10 years old. I'm in 5th grade at Sunshine Elementary School. I love playing basketball, reading comic books, and hanging out with my friends duringrecess. But you know what my biggest dream is? To get a perfect score on the English part of the Gaokao when I'm in high school! Crazy, right? How could a little kid like me be thinking that far ahead? Well, let me tell you all about it.It all started last year when my older cousin Jingfei took the Gaokao. Man, was she stressed! She studied daaaay and night, drank gallons of coffee, and her eyes were all red and baggy from lack of sleep. I felt really bad for her. The Gaokao is no joke - it's supposed to be one of the hardest tests in the whole world! But you know what? When Jingfei's results came out, she had gotten a perfect score on the English section! I couldn't believe it. I mean, English is hard enough for me as it is with all the weird spellings, idioms, and tongue-twisters my teacher makes us do. I can't imagine how difficult the Gaokao English must be. That's when I decided - I'm going to be like Jingfei and ace that English test too!At first, it was really tough. I'd come home after school ready to play videogames, but then I'd have to spend two hours on English homework instead. There were times I just wanted to give up. But then I'd remember Jingfei's face when she got that perfect score - she was glowing with pride and happiness. That's what kept me going.Slowly but surely, my English started improving by leaps and bounds. Spelling was becoming a breeze, grammar rules were making sense, and I could read short novels without getting hung up on every other word. By the end of 4th grade, I was at the top of my English class!I know getting a perfect score on the Gaokao English is going to be incredibly difficult. But I'm willing to do whatever it takes through perseverance, dedication, and maybe just a little bit of madness! Why? Because speaking multiple languages isn't just impressive - it opens up entire new worlds. With English as my second tongue, I'll be able to make friends internationally, explore amazing books and movies, and broaden my horizons in ways I can't even imagine yet. How cool is that?So yes, a 5th grader dreaming of Gaokao perfection may sound crazy. But I don't care what anybody says - this little kid is going for it! Just you wait and see, in 7 years time there's gonna be one very happy and proud elementary school alumnus. My name is Xiaomin, and this is my big, ambitious, maybe even impossible dream. But hey, no one ever achieved something great by thinking small, right? The future is wide open!篇4My Bestest English Exam Essay Ever!Hi! My name is Li Xiaoming and I'm 10 years old. I'm in 5th grade and I really really love English class. My English teacher, Miss Zhang, is the nicest teacher ever. She always gives us fun games and activities to help us learn new words and grammar.Just last week, Miss Zhang said we had to practice writing essays for the big test at the end of the year. She called it the "Gao Kao" which I think means "Higher Test" or something. Anyway, she said the essay part is super important and if we do well, we can get into the best universities in the whole country! At first, I was a little nervous. Essays are hard, you know? You have to organize all your thoughts and make sure everything flows together nicely. But Miss Zhang reminded us about all the great essay writing tips she's taught us this year. The first step is coming up with a really attention-grabbing introduction. Miss Zhang says you need a "hook" right at the start to draw the reader in. Then you state your main idea or thesis clearly. For my essay, I decided to open with a rhetorical question: "What is the greatest quality a person can possess?" Then I gave my thesis that determination and perseverance are the keys to success. For the body paragraphs, I made sure to follow the classic five-paragraph format we learned. I had three main supporting points with lots of detailed examples and explanations for each one. My first body paragraph was about how determined people never give up, no matter how hard things get. I talked about that famous story of the little train engine that kept saying "I think I can, I think I can" as it struggled up the huge hill. Then in the next paragraph, I described how perseverance allows people to practice and improve their skills over time. I used the example of world-class athletes who train extremely hard for years and years to get to the top of their game. The last body paragraph emphasized that having determination and stick-to-itiveness is way more important than just being naturally talented. After the three big body sections, I had to write a conclusion to tie everything together nicely. Miss Zhang taught us that the conclusion should restate the main points one last time, then end with something memorable that really drives the message home. So I restated my thesis about determination and perseverance, then wrote "Just like the little engine that could, a person with willpower and tenacity can overcome any obstacle in their path."When I finished writing my essay, I read it over a few times to make sure it all flowed smoothly and I used a good variety of vocabulary words and transitions. I tried to incorporate some of those fancy techniques Miss Zhang showed us too, like rhetorical devices and adding some idioms or metaphors for extra flair.Overall, I felt pretty proud of my hard work! Miss Zhang said my essay was easy to follow, had a clear thesis, and provided lots of relevant examples and evidence to support my arguments. She did suggest improving my conclusion a bit by maybe using a quote or more vivid imagery, but other than that she thought I was ready to ace the Gao Kao essay!I'm still nervous about the big test day, but I know as long as I've practiced and given my full effort, I'll do my best. Writing this practice essay reminded me to just keep doing what Dad calls "putting one foot in front of the other" and not getting discouraged. With determination and perseverance, I can write a totally awesome Gao Kao essay for sure! Wish me luck!篇5My Big Brother's English ExamHi! My name is Lily and I'm 8 years old. I'm in 3rd grade and I love reading, playing outside, and eating ice cream. Today I wantto tell you about something really important that happened with my big brother Tom last year.Tom is 18 years old and he just graduated from high school. All through school, he worked super duper hard, especially in his English class. You see, in China, there is this huge test called the Gaokao that all senior students have to take. It has really hard English questions and writing sections. If you don't do well, it's really difficult to get into a great university. For years, Tom studied English constantly. He took extra classes, did tons of practice tests, and studied vocabulary like crazy. His English teacher Mr. Wang always pushed him to work harder. Even though English is a strange language with crazy spelling and grammar rules, Tom became amazing at it through total dedication.Last June was finally time for the dreaded Gaokao exam. Tom was so nervous in the weeks leading up to it. He barely slept and looked exhausted all the time. My parents and I tried to help him stay positive and confident. The night before the English test, he paced around the living room going over flashcards until really late. The next morning, my mom made Tom's favorite jianbing breakfast to give him energy. She packed him a bunch of healthysnacks and water bottles too. We all gave him huge hugs before he biked to school for the exam. I could see he was braver on the outside than the inside. After what felt like forever, Tom finally came home that evening. He looked relieved but also like he had run a marathon! We all smothered him with hugs and asked how it went. For the English writing section, he said he had to write a long essay in response to a prompt about environmental protection. Even though he was tired, he felt really good about how he organized his ideas and used advanced vocabulary and grammar.Over the next few agonizing weeks, we anxiously awaited Tom's score report. When it finally arrived, we tore it open right away. My parents had huge smiles and looked at Tom with tears in their eyes. He had received a perfect score on the English writing section We all cheered and danced around with joy. After all those years of effort, Tom's dreamed had come true.In the end, Tom's total Gaokao score was incredible. He got into the top university he wanted in a major city. I'm so proud of my brother and in a few years, it will be my turn to work hard on English to follow in his footsteps. For now, I'll just keep reading lots of English books and learning from Tom's amazingdedication. Seeing him get a perfect score on such an important test motivates me to never give up!篇6My Awesome School LifeHi there! My name is Lily and I'm 10 years old. I just finished 4th grade and I can't wait to tell you all about my super fun school life! Get ready for an awesome adventure!I wake up at 6:30am every morning because school starts at 8am. I don't mind waking up early though, because I love seeing all my friends and learning new things every day. My mom makes me a yummy breakfast like oatmeal or eggs before the school bus comes at 7:15am. The bus ride is really entertaining because me and my buddies play games and tell jokes the whole time! When I get to school, the first thing I do is hang up my backpack and lunchbox in my colorful cubby. Then I put away my homework folder and get out a fresh notebook for the day. Our classroom is so bright and welcoming, with big windows, a reading corner full of beanbags, and tons of posters and student art projects all over the walls. The morning always starts with our teacher Mrs. Roberts reading us a book out loud while we sit "criss-cross applesauce" on the big rug. Her favorite books are the silly ones that make everyone laugh really hard. Once she's done reading, we go over the schedule for the day written on the whiteboard. Every day is different which makes it super exciting! My favorite subject is math because I'm a total brainiac when it comes to numbers and problem-solving. I love raising my hand and racing my friends to solve the questions Mrs. Roberts writes out for us. Even when the math is really challenging, I never give up because I know it will just make my brain stronger, kind of like exercising a muscle!Science is pretty awesome too, especially when we get to do fun experiments. Last month we made miniature volcanoes out of baking soda and vinegar an。

Actually the thorns in their bodies are their leaves. The leaves are like this only because they can stop the water in their bodies from evaporating into the hot and dry air. The cactuses have long roots and they take their roots deep into the earth so that they can get the water from deeper, soil. Their flowers are always small and white. Although they are ignored in the desert, they never give up coming ont and alwaysdecorate the desert silently.高考英语满分作文2i live in hollywood. you may think people in such a glamorous, fun-filled place are happier than others. if so, you have somemistaken ideas about the nature of happiness. many intelligent people still equate happiness with fun. the truth is that fun and happiness have little or nothing in common. fun is what we experience during an act. happiness is what we experience after an act. it is a deeper, more abiding emotion. going to an amusement park or ball game, watching a movie or television, are fun activities that help us relax, temporarily forget our problems and maybe even laugh. but they do not bring happiness, because their positive effects end when the fun ends.i have often thought that if hollywood stars have a role to play, it is to teach us that happiness has nothing to do with fun. these rich, beautiful individuals have constant access to glamorous parties, fancy cars, expensive homes, everything that spells "happiness". but in memoir after memoir, celebrities reveal the unhappiness hidden beneath all their fun: depression, alcoholism, drug addiction, broken marriages, troubled children, profound loneliness. the way people cling to the belief that a fun-filled, pain-free life equates happiness actually diminishes their chances of ever attaining real happiness. if fun and pleasure are equated with happiness, then pain must be equated with unhappiness. but, in fact, the opposite is true: more times than not, things that lead to happiness involve some pain. as a result, many people avoid the very endeavors that are the source of truehappiness. they fear the pain inevitably brought by such things as marriage, raising children, professional achievement, religious commitment, civic or charitable work, and self-improvement.高考英语满分作文3Dear Terry,How are you doing? Learning that you are about to pay a visit to a Chinese friend and confused about the Chinese customs, I am writing to put forward some advice.Firstly, I would 1ike to suggest that you arrive 5 to 10 minutes earlier, which is common in Chinese traditional culture. Secondly, if I were you I would bring some appropriate gifts with me, such as souvenirs from my own country. Besides, table manners are also what you should pay attention to. For example, you are not supposed to stick your chopsticks into your food. Instead, laying them on your dish is a smart choice. If you have any other problems, please don’t hesitate to contact me.高考英语满分作文4As the first prize winner of the English competition organized by the school not long ago, I have benefited a great deal from the extra-curricular English learning.First, I usually participate actively in English corner. By practicing this, my oral English obviously improved a lot. Secondly, I also believe that it is another key for me to keep English diaries. I made such rapid progress, closely related to this. But unfortunately, air is also so polluted that they have to wear masks. Each of them is crying, “Where is my home?” What a terrible sight!Mankind has brought so much pollution. Waste is being poured into rivers and seas. Poisons to kill pests in farming and chemicals go into rivers and seas, too. Poisonous gasses from factories also make the air so dirty. The whole balance of nature is being destroyed as a result of our ignorance of the environmental protection.Personally, man can not live alone on the earth. Should fish die from serious pollution, so would man! It is high time we did something to prevent such a scene from happening.高考英语满分作文6People often say that gold and silver are the most valuable things in the world. But I dont think so.In my opinion, to read books is more valuable than anything else. The old saying "To open a book is always helpful" clearly tells us how good it is to read a book. Books are our friends. They introduce us different kinds of knowledge. They lead us down the road to success. Books are our teachers. They teach us troth, science, literature, and philosophy of life. Besides, they increase our knowledge, enlarge our experience, strengthen our character and do many other things which we can not do without them. Books tell us what is good and what is evil. And only books can tell the goodfrom the bad. Therefore, to read more books is the best policy for our young students.高考英语满分作文6篇。

探索劳动之美,塑造辉煌人生Labor, a fundamental aspect of human life, has always played a pivotal role in the progress and development of society. It is not merely a means of earning a livelihoodbut a powerful force that shapes individuals, communities, and nations. The profound essence of labor is captured brilliantly in the 2020 National College Entrance Examination's English essay prompt, which encourages students to reflect on the beauty and significance of labor. Labor is the engine of progress. It is the sweat andtoil of millions that have lifted humanity from theprimitive era to the modern age. The pyramids of Egypt, the Great Wall of China, and the Taj Mahal of India are testament to the remarkable achievements that can berealized through collective labor. These monuments not only reflect the technological prowess of their times but alsothe unwavering dedication and hard work of the people involved.Labor instills dignity and purpose in life. It gives individuals a sense of accomplishment and fulfillment, knowing that they have contributed to society and made apositive impact. The simple act of planting a seed and nurturing it into a tree brings immense joy and satisfaction. Similarly, working towards a goal, whether it is building a house or creating a piece of art, gives life a sense of direction and purpose.Labor also fosters unity and cooperation. It brings people together,不分国界、性别、年龄,in pursuit of a common goal. The shared experience of labor creates bonds and understanding among individuals, leading to stronger communities and nations. It is this unity and cooperation that have helped humanity overcome countless challenges and achieve remarkable feats. However, in today's world, labor is often overlooked and undervalued. Many individuals seek to evade it, seeking easier and more lucrative paths to success. This attitude, however, is shortsighted and ignores the true value of labor. Labor is not just about earning a livelihood; it is about contributing to society, building character, and finding fulfillment in life. The essay prompt encourages students to appreciate the beauty of labor and understand its significance in shapingtheir lives. It reminds us that labor is not a dirty word but a noble endeavor that should be respected and honored. By embracing labor, we not only contribute to society but also shape our own destinies and create meaningful lives. In conclusion, labor is the backbone of society and the foundation of human progress. It instills dignity, purpose, and unity in our lives. The 2020 National College Entrance Examination's English essay prompt serves as a powerful reminder of the beauty and significance of labor. Let us cherish and honor this noble endeavor, as it is through labor that we build not just our futures but also thefuture of humanity.**探索劳动之美,塑造辉煌人生**劳动,作为人类生活的基本要素,一直在社会进步和发展中扮演着举足轻重的角色。

2020年河南省高考英语满分作文全文共6篇示例,供读者参考篇1My Awesome Summer VacationHi there! My name is Xiaoming and I'm 10 years old. I just finished 4th grade and I had the best summer vacation ever! I wanted to tell you all about the fun things I did and the awesome places I went. Get ready for an exciting story! It all started on the last day of school. I was so happy when the final bell rang because that meant no more homework or tests for over 2 months! My parents had promised to take me on a long trip during the summer since I got really good grades. I could barely sleep that night thinking about where we might go.The next morning, my mom and dad surprised me - we were going to Hainan Island, which is this amazing tropical place in southern China! I had seen pictures before of the beautiful beaches and palm trees there. We took a flight from Zhengzhou and when we arrived, it was like being in a whole different world. The temperature was so warm and sunny compared to back home. Our hotel was right on the beach and had three huge swimming pools! After we checked in, I raced down to the beach. The sand was perfect for making sandcastles. I spent hours decorating my castle with seashells until the tide came in and washed it away. No worries though, because there was still so much fun to be had!Over the next few days, we went snorkeling in the crystal clear ocean. I saw so many colorful fish and coral reefs underneath the surface. It was like being in a giant aquarium! We also went on a boat tour around the island and I got to see dolphins swimming alongside us. The guide taught me their whistling sounds, which I tried to imitate. We finished the day watching the most beautiful sunset I had ever witnessed, with pink, orange and purple colors lighting up the sky. After a week of beach time, we went inland to explore the tropical rainforest in the center of the island. We went on a hiking trail and saw monkeys, snakes, cool insects and lots of strange trees and plants I had never seen before. Our guide pointed out trees with furry red monkey-cup seed pods and trees with dragon-scale bark patterns. It was like being in an alien world! The best part was visiting the Nanwan Monkey Island, which is home to thousands of wild monkeys that roam freely! We took a boat over and as soon as we stepped onto the island, monkeys were all around us. Our guide handed out banana chunks for us to feed them. One little monkey climbed right onto my shoulder to take a banana from my hand. I was so excited! We spent the afternoon just watching the monkeys play, wrestle and jump through the trees. On our way back, I saw one monkey had hitched a ride hanging onto the back of our boat!We finished our Hainan adventure by visiting the Wuzhi Mountain area. This is where they grow most of the famous Wuzhishan tea. We toured a tea plantation and I got to see the process of how the tea leaves are picked and dried into tea. The owner taught me how to properly brew tea leaves in a sharing pot. He let me sample different kinds of green, oolong and black tea. Some were grassy and fresh tasting, while others were rich and toasty. My favorite was the pu'er tea which had an amazing deep, earthy flavor. I bought a few boxes to bring back home. After two wonderful weeks, it was sadly time to leave Hainan Island. I had so many amazing experiences and made incredible memories. This was definitely the best vacation I've ever had! Trying all the new and different food, seeing beautiful nature, learning about the culture and making new monkey friends - I will never forget it.I'm already dreaming about where we'll go next summer. Maybe we can visit the Silk Road cities in the northwest like Dunhuang! I can't wait to have another fun adventure. No matter where I go though, this trip to Hainan will always be my favorite. It's a summer I'll cherish forever!篇2My Favorite AnimalHello everyone! Today, I want to share with you about my favorite animal. Can you guess what it is? It's a cute and lovable panda!Pandas are native to China, and they are known for their black and white fur. They look like big, fluffy teddy bears. I love pandas because they are so adorable and gentle.Pandas mainly eat bamboo, and they spend most of their time eating and sleeping. They are not very active animals, but when they do move, they look clumsy and funny. I find it fascinating how they can survive on a diet of mostly bamboo.Did you know that pandas are endangered? That means there are not many pandas left in the world. It's really sad because they are such wonderful creatures. People are working hard to protect pandas and their natural habitat. We need to do our part too, by learning about them and spreading awareness. If I had a chance to meet a panda, I would be over the moon with excitement! I would love to see them up close and maybe even give them a big hug. But of course, we need to remember that pandas are wild animals and we should always respect their space. In conclusion, pandas are my favorite animals because they are cute, gentle, and unique. They need our help to survive, and we should do everything we can to protect them. Let's cherish and appreciate these amazing creatures so that future generations can also enjoy their beauty.Thank you for listening to my story about pandas. I hope you love them as much as I do!Word Count: 228 words篇3My Summer Vacation AdventureHi everyone! My name is Xiaoming, and I'm 10 years old. I just started 5th grade this year. During the summer break, I had the most amazing adventure that I want to share with you all!It all started when my parents told me we were going on a trip to visit my grandparents in the countryside. At first, I wasn't too excited because I thought it would be boring like our usual trips there. But boy, was I wrong! On the first day, after we arrived at my grandparents' house, my cousin Xiaohong and I decided to explore the nearby woods. We packed some snacks and water bottles, and off we went! The woods were so beautiful, with tall trees, colorful flowers, and little critters running around. As we were walking, we noticed a strange-looking path that we had never seen before. Being the curious kids we are, we decided to follow it and see where it would lead us. After walking for what felt like hours, we stumbled upon an old, abandoned temple hidden deep in the woods! The temple was covered in vines and moss, but you could still see the intricate carvings on the walls and pillars. Xiaohong and I were in awe! We carefully stepped inside and explored every corner of the temple, imagining what it must have been like when it was still in use.Suddenly, we heard a strange noise coming from one of the rooms. We froze in our tracks, too scared to move. But then, out popped a tiny, adorable bunny! We both let out a sigh of relief and giggled at how scared we had been.As we were getting ready to leave, I noticed something shiny on the ground. It was an old coin! I showed it to Xiaohong, and we wondered how old it could be and who it might have belonged to.On our way back, we stopped by a small stream and splashed around in the cool water. It was so refreshing after our long hike. We even saw a family of ducks swimming by, and they let us feed them some of our snacks! When we finally made it back to my grandparents' house, we were exhausted but so happy. We couldn't wait to tell our parents and grandparents about our incredible adventure and the abandoned temple we had discovered. That night, as I lay in bed, I thought about how lucky I was to have had such an exciting and memorable summer vacation. I couldn't wait to go back to school and share my story with all my friends! From that day on, whenever I visit my grandparents, Xiaohong and I make sure to explore the woods and see what other hidden treasures we can find. Who knows, maybe we'll discover an even bigger secret next time!篇4My Awesome Summer VacationHi, my name is Lily and I'm 10 years old. I just started 5th grade and my teacher asked us to write about what we did this summer vacation. I had the best summer ever and I can't wait to tell you all about it!It all started on the last day of school in June. My parents surprised me and my little brother Tommy by telling us we were going on a big trip! They didn't say where at first, just that we needed to pack our bags. Tommy and I were so excited, we couldn't stop guessing where we might go. I hoped it would be somewhere with a beach and lots of sun since I love swimming.A few days later, we finally found out - we were going to Australia! I had learned a little bit about Australia in school, like how it's a huge island continent way down under near Antarctica. And of course, I knew about kangaroos and koalas. But I didn'treally know much more than that. My parents told us we'd be traveling all around the country for a whole month! Our first stop was the big city of Sydney. As soon as we got off the plane, I could tell Australia was going to be an awesome place. The weather was so nice and sunny, even though it was actually winter there since the seasons are flipped from the northern hemisphere. We saw the famous Sydney Opera House right away and I thought it looked like a huge sailing ship made of roof tiles. So cool!We spent a few days exploring Sydney. We walked across the massive steel Sydney Harbour Bridge, which was a little scary being so high up! But the views of the city and harbour were incredible. We also went to the Taronga Zoo and I got to see real live kangaroos, koalas, wombats, and so many other unique Aussie animals up close. Holding a koala was definitely one of the highlights - they're so soft and cuddly! After Sydney, we flew to Cairns which is a city way up in the northeastern part of Australia. The best part about Cairns was getting to visit the incredible Great Barrier Reef. We went on a boat tour and got to snorkel and see tons of bright colorful fish and coral. I had never experienced anything like swimming in the midst of a huge reef before. Our guide taught us how reefs areactually living things made up of billions of tiny animals. It was magical. From Cairns, we drove down the coast to a place called the Daintree Rainforest. It's one of the oldest rainforests in the world, with giant ancient trees and vines covering everything. We went on a few long hikes and our tour guide pointed out all sorts of crazy plants and animals we had never seen before. Like the neat little musky rat-kangaroos that looked like mice but hopped around like miniature roos! We also saw beautiful bright blue butterflies and scary-looking species of python snakes. The rainforest felt like another world. Our next stop was the big outback in the Red Center of Australia. This was the part I was most excited about - getting to see the famous sandstone rock formations like Uluru (which used to be called Ayers Rock). Uluru was even more impressive than I imagined, this huge flat-topped red monolith rising up from the pancake-flat desert. We got up very early one morning to watch the sunrise over Uluru, and the changing lights as the sun came up made the rock look like it was glowing orange, red, purple, and more.We also visited some other iconic outback rock formations like the Olgas (or Kata Tjuta) and Kings Canyon. I'll never forgetdriving for miles through the endless flat red desert and scrub, and then suddenly coming across these enormous piles of ancient sandstone domes just sitting alone in the middle of nowhere. Hiking up around them and through the dry creek beds was like stepping back in time to when the earliest Aboriginal people lived off this harsh land. The absolute craziest part of the outback though was getting to ride a real live camels! Can you believe people actually use camels to travel across the huge Australian deserts? A lot of camels were brought over from the Middle East and Arabia in the 1800s to help explore the interior outback. Our camel guides taught us all about the history and how they were an important part of Australia for a long time. Getting up on those tall creatures was scary at first, but after a little while it was just like riding a horse - except way taller and bumpier! On our way back to Sydney at the end of the month, we stopped for a few days in Melbourne, which is a big modern city on the southeast coast. We explored fun neighborhoods with street art covered laneways and nobody barbecuing dim sums and other snacks篇5Hi there! My name is Lily and I'm 10 years old. I go to Sunshine Elementary School here in Zhengzhou, the capital city of Henan Province. I love learning English and my dream is to become a writer when I grow up! My English teacher, Miss Wang, is really nice and encouraging. She always tells us to practice writing as much as we can.So, when my older cousin Xiaoming took the big Gaokao exam last year to get into university, I was really curious about the English writing part. Xiaoming said the essay prompt was "Describe a personal experience that left a lasting impression on you." He did pretty well and got a high score, but he didn't get a perfect score. I wondered what a full-score essay would look like.I asked Miss Wang if she could show me an example of a top-scoring Gaokao English essay from 2020. She smiled and said, "Well Lily, I don't actually have a real essay to share since the exam details are kept private. But I can try to imagine what an excellent one might look like!" She grabbed a piece of paper and started writing. This is what she wrote:A Memorable Childhood ExperienceAs a young child, one experience that left an indelible mark on me was the time I unexpectedly found myself lost in the bustling city streets. It was the summer before I began primaryschool, and my family had traveled to visit relatives in the provincial capital. Amidst the dizzying sights, sounds, and smells of the crowded city, my tiny hand slipped from my mother's grasp. In an instant, I was alone, enveloped by a sea of unfamiliar faces. At first, sheer panic gripped me. The cacophony of car horns, vendors' calls, and chattering passersby overwhelmed my senses. Towering buildings seemed to loom over me as I spun around, searching in vain for my mother's familiar face. Hot tears stung my eyes as the reality of my predicament set in – I was utterly lost in this maze of concrete and chaos. However, as the initial wave of fear subsided, a strange sense of calm washed over me. I realized that giving in to despair would not aid my situation. Taking a deep breath, I began to look around with fresh eyes, searching for anyone who might be able to help me. That's when I spotted a uniformed police officer standing on a street corner.Mustering all my courage, I approached the imposing figure. "Excuse me, sir," I stammered in my small voice. "I... I can't find my mommy." The officer's stern expression instantly melted into one of concern as he knelt down to my level."Don't worry, little one," he said gently. "Can you tell me your name and where you last saw your mother?" I relayed what I could remember through quivering lips, clinging to the hope that this trustworthy adult would guide me to safety.True to his word, the kind officer took my hand and began retracing my steps, asking bystanders if they had seen a distraught woman searching for a lost child. After what felt like an eternity of frantic searching and growing despondency, I heard a familiar voice call my name. There was my mother, her face etched with panic and relief, rushing towards me with outstretched arms.In that moment, the world made sense again. As I reunited with my mother's embrace, unbridled joy and overwhelming gratitude washed over me. I will never forget the harrowing experience of being lost and alone, nor will I take for granted the selfless actions of the police officer who went above and beyond to reunite a lost child with her frantic parents. That day imparted invaluable lessons that still resonate with me today. I learned the value of remaining calm andlevel-headed in the face of adversity, as well as the importance of seeking help from trustworthy authorities. Moreover, I gained a profound appreciation for the kindness of strangers – how asimple act of human compassion can profoundly impact someone in need. While undoubtedly distressing at the time, that memorable childhood experience shaped me into a more resilient, empathetic, and appreciative person. It is a poignant reminder that even in the most chaotic or overwhelming of circumstances, hope can be found by maintaining composure and seeking assistance from thegoodness inherent in people. In a world that can often feel daunting and uncertain, I carry the lesson of that fateful day: We all have the power to make a positive difference in the lives of others, no matter how small the gesture.Wow, that was such an amazing essay! Miss Wang is so talented. I could clearly picture the whole scene in my mind as she read it out loud - the busy city, getting separated from Mommy, feeling scared but trying to be brave, the kind police officer helping, and the wonderful reunion at the end. Her words made me feel like I was right there, experiencing all the emotions too.I especially loved the life lessons she highlighted, like staying calm under pressure, asking authorities for help, and appreciating the kindness of strangers. Those are such importantvalues to learn, and her personal story made them really hit home. Miss Wang did an excellent job making her narrative engaging yet thoughtful. She explained that a top-scoring Gaokao essay should have a clear structure with an engaging introduction, detailed body paragraphs developing the main ideas, and a insightful conclusion tying it all together. The language should be sophisticated but not overly complex, with precise vocabulary and correct grammar. But most importantly, the writer needs to connect with the prompt on a deeper level and convey a meaningful message.I can see why an essay like this would get full marks! The details and emotions made it come alive, while analyzing the bigger life lessons showed impressive critical thinking skills. I have a new appreciation for how challenging yet rewarding the Gaokao writing section must be.Miss Wang told me I'm already a talented young writer myself, and with more practice, who knows - maybe I'll craft an award-winning Gaokao essay of my own someday! She encouraged me to keep exploring my creativity through writing about my own experiences and perspectives. I'm going to take her advice and keep working hard to improve my English skills.Just maybe, years from now, I'll be asked to share a model essay like this one too!篇6My Big DreamHi there! My name is Little Wang and I'm a 10-year-old student in 5th grade. Today, I want to tell you all about my big dream for the future. It's a dream that I've had for as long as I can remember. Are you ready? Here goes!Ever since I was a tiny kid, I've always loved animals. I think they're just the cutest, funniest, most amazing creatures ever!I've had all kinds of pet friends over the years - dogs, cats, hamsters, fish, you name it. Taking care of them and playing with them has brought me so much joy.But you know what makes me really, really sad? Seeing animals get hurt or abandoned or mistreated. It absolutely breaks my heart. I've seen stray dogs on the streets looking all skinny and scared. I've heard stories about puppies being abused by mean people. And don't even get me started on animals going extinct because humans are destroying their homes! That's why my biggest dream is to become an animal rescuer when I grow up! I want to go around the world saving any animals that are in trouble or danger. If I see a kitten stuck up in a tree, I'll climb up and get it down safely. If there's a whale trapped in a net, I'll dive into the ocean and set it free. You get the idea!I'd also really love to open up my own giant animal shelter and sanctuary. It would be this humongous place with endless fields and forests for the animals to run around and be happy. There'd be special areas for different types of animals to live in, like a savannah for lions and zebras, an arctic zone for polar bears, and a tropical rainforest for monkeys and parrots. And get this - the sanctuary would have its own veterinary hospital too! I'd hire the most caring, most skilled animal doctors to give every critter the very best medical treatment. Never again would an animal have to suffer from an injury or illness without getting help.Oh, and there'd also be an education center at my sanctuary where kids and grown-ups can learn all about the importance of protecting animals and their environments. We'd teach them how to be awesome animal lovers just like me! Maybe they'd get inspired to become rescuers too. How cool would that be?I know there might be people out there who think I'm just a kid with a silly dream that'll never come true. But I don't care what they say - I'm going to prove them all wrong! With enough passion, kindness, and perseverance, I truly believe anything is possible. So yeah, that's my big, big, huge dream that I've had for as long as I can remember. To become a world-famous animal rescuer with my own massive sanctuary where every furry, feathery, or scaly friend will be safe, healthy, and loved. Just imagining it makes me smile from ear to ear! What about you? What's your biggest dream, the one you want to achieve more than anything else in the whole wide world? Whatever it is, never stop chasing it, OK? Believe in yourself like I believe in myself. Work really hard, stay determined, and never let anyone tell you that you can't do it. You got this!Well, that's all I wanted to share for now. Thanks so much for listening! I'll let you know how my animal rescuing adventures go as I get older. Who knows, maybe you'll see me on TV one day, saving a whole herd of elephants or something! A kid can dream, right? Talk to you later!。

(103 words)9 The person I respectThere are many respectable people around us. My mum, an ordinary middle-aged woman, is one of the people who I love and respect most. Born into a poor family, she has always been independent and cherished what she has had. Now she is a teacher, works well into midnight, but seldom, if ever, complains. The reason why I show respect for her is that she never loses temper but instead always encourages me. My thoughts flashedback to the days when I felt cast down on account of my poor academic performance. Aware of my low spirits, she told me firmly that as long as I tried my best, she would take pride in me whatever the result would be. In the meanwhile, she secretly stuck some famous sayings such as "where there is a will, there is a way" on my table, reminding me to keep a positive attitude toward life. With her constant encouragement and unconditional trust, I regained my confidence and continued to pursue my dream. Were it not for her, I couldn't be what I am now.Such is my beloved mum, a simple yet great woman, like a beam of sunshine, shining me the road ahead.10 The person I respectThere are many respectable people around us. The one I respect most is my aunt, a middle-aged nurse, always wearing a smile and a determined look, who fought against the COVID-19 during the tough times of the epidemic. Her selfless devotion to her job never fails to appeal to me. With a good knowledge of medical care, she strengthens her resolve to be an excellent nurse and cares enough for her patients. Additionally, it is her passionate belief in what she is doing that leaves a deep impression on me. Faced with the outbreak of the epidemic, she went to Wuhan without a second thought, where she helped to save hundreds of lives. Whenever I encounter difficulties, her heroic deeds will flash through my mind and motivate me to overcome them.Admittedly, words cannot express my admiration and respect for her. What she has done sheds light on the future lying before me.11 The person I respectThere are many respectable people around us. Every time I see the pictures, in which he is fighting to save people’s lives, I cannot help being moved by him. What impresses me most is that aged 84, he rushed to the front line of the epidemic area without hesitation at the beginning of the outbreak of COVID-19 epidemic. Dangerous though it was, Zhong Nanshan and his workmates worked hard day and night to treat the patients infected with COVID-19. With their great efforts, remarkable results were achieved and the COVID-19 was finally under control. His dedication to work and to people is admirable, which truly inspires me to become a man like him in the future.12 The person I respectThere are many respectable people around us. The one I respect most is Mr. Huang, my head teacher and English teacher in Senior Three. He was born in Jiangsu, grew up in Guangdong and graduated from Beijing Medical College in 1960. Ordinary-looking as he is, he is extraordinary in his work. In the spring of 2003, not only did Dr. Zhong lead the team, but also took an active part in and finally won the battle against SARS. 2020年高考全国二卷英语作文范文全文共6篇示例,供读者参考篇1Hey guys, have you heard about the 2020 National College Entrance Exam (also known as Gaokao) second paper? It was super tough! But don't worry, I'm here to tell you all about it.The English exam was a real challenge this year. It started off with a reading section that had a mix of different types of passages, like articles, dialogues, and advertisements. Then we had to answer questions about the main ideas, details, and vocabulary from each passage. It was tricky, but I tried my best to stay focused and read everything carefully.Next up was the writing section. We had to write an essay on a topic about the advantages and disadvantages of using technology in education. I talked about how technology can make learning more interactive and fun, but also how it can be distracting and take away from face-to-face interactions with teachers and classmates. I made sure to give examples and reasons to support my ideas.Overall, the exam was really hard, but I'm proud of myself for giving it my all. I know that no matter what the results are, I did my best and that's what matters most. Good luck to all my friends who also took the exam, and remember to keep believing in yourselves!篇2Oh my goodness! The 2020 National College Entrance Examination was super tough! It was so fast-paced and I had to listen really carefully to catch everything. The speakers had different accents and speeds, so it was hard to keep up. But I managed to understand most of it and answered the questions as best as I could. Then came the writing part. I had to write an essay on a topic I had never even thought about before. It was all about technology and its impact on our lives. I tried my best to comeup with good ideas and organize my thoughts. I hope the examiners like what I wrote!Overall, the exam was a real challenge, but I think I did my best. I studied hard and prepared as much as I could. Now all I can do is wait for the results and see how I did. Fingers crossed!篇3Hi guys, I'm going to tell you about the English essay in the 2020 National College Entrance Examination. The title of the essay was "The Impact of Technology on Education". In this essay, we need to discuss how technology has changed the way we learn and the pros and cons of using technology in education.First of all, we can talk about the advantages of technology in education. With the help of the internet, we can easily access a lot of information and study materials. We can also take online courses and communicate with classmates and teachers through social media. Technology has made learning more convenient and efficient. However, there are also some disadvantages of technology in education. For example, some students may spend too muchtime on their phones and computers, which can affect their sleep and eyesight. In addition, not all students have access to technology, which can create a gap between those who can afford it and those who cannot. In conclusion, while technology has revolutionized education in many ways, we should also be aware of its drawbacks. We need to use technology wisely and make sure that it benefits our learning instead of hindering it.That's all for the English essay in the 2020 National College Entrance Examination. After this exam, I intend to help you do some housework which I have seldom done before. And I also mean to learn to
cook in order to prepare a dinner for you both in person.
My dear parents, everything is going on well with me and do have a rest!
Best wishes,
Yours
Li Hua

Dear David,
I'm glad you'll come to Beijing to learn Chinese.
Chinese is very useful, and many foreigners are learning it now. It's difficult for you because it's quite different from English. You have to remember as many Chinese words as possible. It's also important to do some reading and writing. You can watch TV and listen to the radio to practise your listening. Do your best to talk with people in Chinese. You can learn Chinese not only from books but also from people around you. If you have any questions, please ask me. I'm sure you'll learn Chinese well.
Hope to see you soon in Beijing.
Yours,
Wang Ming
