核心素养下的小学英语单元整体作业设计摘要:在小学英语学科的教学过程中,教师在将每个小章节的内容讲述完毕之后,会对学生进行一个单元的整体复习,一般会通过设计单元整体作业来检查学生对以往所学知识的掌握程度。

在核心素养理念下,对小学英语教师单元整体作业设计有了一些新的要求,此时就需要教师深刻把握住核心素养理念的内涵,并将其应用在单元整体作业设计之中,以最大化地提升单元整体作业设计水平。

关键词:小学英语;单元作业;核心素养前言学生对于英语知识的掌握程度是需要依靠一定检验的,通过作业来检验学生的学习情况是一种比较常见的手段,在小学英语课堂教学中,教师往往会设计一套单元整体作业,让学生通过对这套试卷的作答来评判和检验出学生对所学知识的掌握程度。

当前在核心素养理念下,小学英语教师在进行单元整体作业设计时,要遵循一定的原则,比如在作业设计过程中要形式丰富内容、全面,能够从多维度、多视角来提升学生的英语素养。

一、当前小学单元英语作业设计的现状(—)单元整体作业的形式较为单一英语作为一门新的语言,在学习的过程中,需要学生对听说读写四个方面都进行掌握,但是教师在进行单元整体作业设计时,往往将听和说忽视了。

将作业中95%的篇幅都用于考查学生的读和写能力,这在一定程度上是不利于学生核心素养的养成,尤其是语言能力和视听能力。

当前在核心素养理念之下,倡导教师在教授英语的过程中培养学生全方面的能力,但是这种单一的作业设计形式已经违背了这一初衷。

(二)单元整体作业设计内容缺乏趣味性通过对大部分英语教师单元整体作业设计情况来看,60%的教师作业设计内容都缺乏趣味性。

从作业设计内容来看,教师对英语学习中的中难点知识比较重视,在作业设计中大篇幅的内容都是用来训练学生英语语法、英语阅读能力,但是这些训练的内容都比较古板,缺乏趣味性,并未将优秀传统文化或红色精神融入其中。

核心素养理念下倡导教师在进行单元整体作业设计时,要为学生普及一定的文化知识,要提高学生的道德素养,但是教师这种过于死板的作业内容设计,使得作业的类型缺乏趣味性,同时也不利于学生良好品格的塑造。

核心素养导向下的小学英语作业设计

智行教苑拔萃作业是课堂教学的延伸与补充,目的是帮助学生更加深刻地理解和巩固教材内容,习得知识,掌握技能,发展核心素养。

《义务教育英语课程标准(2022年版)》(以下简称《课标》)要求教师运用多元化方式培养和发展学生的核心素养,这为英语作业的科学设计指明了方向。

作业的设计既要有利于学生巩固语言知识和技能,又要有利于促进学生有效运用策略,增强学习动机[1]。

而《课标》中对英语作业的具体指导性案例较少,这就需要我们充分领会课标内涵并结合自身经验,对核心素养导向下如何设计小学英语作业,进行深入探究。

笔者在实践中发现,可以通过设计“弹性类”“身边类”和“合作类”作业,达成上述目标。

一、丰富作业层次,增加“弹性类”作业弹性类作业是对学生之间存在的个性差异有充分认知的基础上,作出有区别的作业设计。

学生可以根据自己的学习能力和水平自主选择作业的难度和数量,这样有助于针对性地加强对不同层次学生的学习调控[2]。

在设计弹性作业前,要预先对学生的语言水平、基础知识、接受程度、学习方式、兴趣爱好和优势特长等有所了解。

笔者尝试通过“三定”的方式来设计弹性作业:一是定内容,教师大致圈定作业主题,设计必做题目和选做题目;二是定范围,学生根据自身情况,选择不同的作业,对于在自觉性方面存在不足的学生,教师可以适当指定作业内容;三定目标,让学生自行设定一个目标,为实现该目标,学生可以自由选择手段和方法。

例如,在寒假英语作业设计中,为了契合春节氛围,笔者设计了弹性作业(见下页表1)。

首先,选择“迎新年”作为作业的主题,让学生准备一本美术册,设计带有春节标志的首页。

在此基础上,设置A—H等不同难度的题目,其中一星到三星标注为必做题目,主要目的是检测学生对课核心素养导向下的小学英语作业设计魏雪晨作业既是巩固教学质量的有力手段,也是反馈教学效果的重要途径。

在教学中老师利用教学的相关图片或多媒体资源等创设真实语言情境贯穿整个英语课堂教学,不仅使学习过程真实而有效,能极好的锻炼学生的逻辑思维能力,同时锻炼学生的表达能力。

语言来源于生活。

通过创设生活情境,学生可以通过生活经验,积极主动学习和运用新知。

同时学生懂得了怎样把所学知识运用在实际生活中,有效提高了学生的语言运用能力。

2、英语作为一种语言,它的运用是双向性的,鼓励学生开口交流的同时要尊重学生的个体差异。

首先在课堂教学中,老师要使用恰当的课堂用语和学生进行交流。

运用课堂用语,无形之中就给学生创设了一种语言学习的环境。

让学生真实感受如何用语言进行交流,并体会语言交流的趣味性。

然后在学生开口交流时要尊重学生的个体差异。

每个学生发展都有差异性,都有自己的优点与不足,我们在教学过程中一定要尊重学生的个体差异。

二、现阶段核心素养要求下小学英语的现状(一)学生口语能力不够在小学英语新课标中明确,强调对学生听、说、读、写四方面的培养。

但是目前体制下的英语教学强调了听与写,而忽略了对口语的培养,学生对于口语交际的意识也很薄弱。

殊不知在口语交际的过程中,学生对于所学的知识已经进行了一个梳理和整合,这是对于语言的学习是至关重要的。

另外,目前英语的教学缺少口语训练的环境。

语言的交际能力是在不断的运用过程中提高的,仅仅靠老师课堂上的互动是不够的,家庭、社会等环境也是很关键的。

(二)忽略文化在英语学习中的重要性每一种语言的形成都跟这个国家的文化、经济发展水平、人文历史有关,语言与文化有着紧密的联系。

语言是文化的载体,文化传播依靠语言。

文化意识的培养是外语教学中不可缺少的环节。

了解国外文化有利于提高学生学习英语的兴趣、学生理解知识点,以及提高学生的阅读与交际能力。

小学生对国外文化的了解很大程度来源于老师的教学,而且这些知识在课本上呈现的较少,这就很容易造成忽略文化的现状。

(三)忽略英汉思维的差异性汉语与英语在表达方式、思维方式上是有很大差异的。

最直观的一个反映就是句子的基本构造不同,汉语一般从人的角度出发,而英语的出发角度一般比较客观。

小学阶段学生的思维习惯还没有完全形成,学生会用定向思维去学习知识点,这都会影响学生的阅读能力、写作能力、交流能力。

(四)小学生自主学习能力弱中国传统教育更多的偏向老师的“教”,学生的学习无形之中就处于被动地位了。

小学英语核心素养中小学阶段英语学科核心素养的培养北师大王蔷教授指出当前英语课程改革的新动向主要包括三个方面:1.关注学科育人价值。

2.关注学生思维发展。

高中英语教学重点之一,是教会学生发现问题、解决问题,培养学生用英语进行思维的能力。

3.关注学科核心素养。

关于英语学科核心素养的构建,主要思考的问题是学生学习英语这门课程应该发展什么样的学科核心素养。

过去十几年的课程改革,英语课程提出了综合语言运用能力的学科课程目标,从过去重视语言知识和语言技能的双基目标转向了多元的综合目标,推动以学生发展为本的教育。

经过十几年的课程改革,教师的教学理念已经发生了显著的变化,从过去关注学科知识和技能,转向了关注培养学生的综合语言运用能力,也就是要在发展学生语言能力的同时,培养学生的积极情感态度和价值观、良好的跨文化意识和有效的学习策略,这些都成为了英语教学的重要目标。

但是课程还存在不少问题。

特别是英语课程对学生思维能力的培养重视不够,教师对语境创设不充分,对语篇意义关注不够,对情感态度价值观的培养未能落到实处,以及很少引导学生发展运用英语分析问题和解决问题的能力。

而核心素养的建构必然引发我们对课程内容的重新思考和对教学方式的进一步优化,为解决目前课程改革存在的问题提供思路和途径。

课程内容与教学方式变革1.学习内容:改变脱离语境的知识学习,将知识学习与技能发展融入主题、语境、语篇和语用之中,促进文化理解和思维品质形成,引导学生学会学习,指向核心素养培养。

2.学习方式:走向整合、关联、发展的课程,实现对语言的深度学习(即语言、文化、思维的融合)。

3.教学方式:融育人目标于教学内容与教学过程之中。

如何整合课程内容?要理清并抓住主线,将主题引领作为整合的起点。

建立六要素(主题、语篇、语言知识、文化知识、语言技能、学习策略)整合的学习活动观。
