1During the summer vacation, I read many books, and the book “Secret Garden” impressed me deeply. The author of “Secret Garden” is Burnett, this book is written: a little girl named Mary was given by her mother to a nanny since childhood, and both the servant and the nanny treated her well, so Mary was very tempered since childhood. Irritability is also the reason. Few people are willing to make friends with her.One day, there was a cholera outbreak where Mary lived. Everyone except her had got cholera and died. Later, when the rescuers arrived, they were all stunned. After everyones discussion, they planned to give it to her uncle in Yorkshire. After a long journey, she finally arrived at her uncles Misesweth Manor. She met a servant named Martha at Mitherthwaite Manor. Before she knew Martha, she just asked the servant to wear shoes and clothes for her. But she knew everything after knowing Martha. After she also met Deacon, cousin Colin, robin and gardener Ben Witherstaff. Marys cousin is ill all year round, and her cousin is as grumpy as Mary, but when Mary comes to Mitherswett Estate, Mary and her cousins temper becomes gentle. After Mary knew the robin, the robin led Mary to find the keys of the “secret garden” and “secret garden” that had been blocked for ten years, and then they began to work in the garden. After their hard work, they were about to “die” “The lost garden survived again. This book tells us not to give up hope in life, but to strive to create a vibrant life path, the key lies in happiness, happiness is the foundation of life. As Burnett said: If there is a garden, there is a future, and if there is a future, it will still be alive!《秘密花园》中英文读后感2My favorite classic is “Secret Garden”. The author of this original book is British American, and it is the representative work of the famous father Francis Hodgson Berbert in the last century. I like this book not because of how ugly its Danqing is, nor because of its content. This is a magical, candy-smelling book. It tells a story about great pretentious magic and beautiful human spirits. In the secret garden, everything is very beautiful, there is a warm and sweet feeling everywhere, just like the wild, graceful peach flowers are so beautiful, look like a little doll in the distance, all have a brutal smile, beautiful butterflies are like Elf, telling the dolls a story. Pieces of leaves are like the emerald on the hea d of the “doll”, dressing up the “doll” like noble. The peach blossoms near Jin looked so red and so glamorous under the sunlight. At night, the robin chanted happily on the branches, and the grass swayed the abominable posture, which was wonderful and pleasant. The crystal waterfall in Mystic Garden fascinates me like a crystal, and it seems to reach the top of the river Han.This magical story has brought me a lot ... This tender book has taught me howto behave and do things. Everything is possible, only with dedication, hard work, and dedication to do it, to do the most evil everyone. Everything must have faith and not be abandoned. Failure is the mother of victory. Sweet difficulty is wish, adversity is kindness, let love pass in each of our collective hearts, love makes us encourage this. If love is enduring and endures with love; love is not jealous; love is not self-proclaimed, not crazy, does not do shy things, does not provide for my own benefits, does not easily lead to anger, does not count the evil of others Dont like injustice, just like the true meaning; contain everything, trust everything, desire everything, endure everything. Love never fails.I want to go to the secret garden, although this is only written in the book, but there is no mysterious garden in the mouth of Er, because the sun is new every day, let us enjoy the great beauty of nature.《秘密花园》中英文读后感3I read the book “The Secret Garden” this summer. It is a magical book about the magic of nature and the beautiful soul of mankind. The story mainly tells: in a ruthless cholera pandemic, the poor little protagonist Mary lost her parents and had to be sent to Mr. Cravens home in the UK. Mr. Craven became very indifferent because of the death of Sad Lady. There are hundreds of locked rooms on his manor, and a secret garden that no one has been in for ten years. Little Mary found the key to the garden, and with the help of her friends Dicon and Colin, the secret garden shrouded in clouds and the indifferent Mr. Craven were reborn. The protagonist Mary turned out to be a grumpy, stubborn, and unpleasant little girl. When she came to the manor, she changed completely. Later it became generous, polite and tolerant. What made her change so fast? It is the magic of nature, the friendship of partners. After reading this story, I admire not only the magical change of Mary, but also the unbreakable friendship between her and her friends!《秘密花园》中英文读后感4In the secret garden of the little hero named Marie, is a plain, secret garden. Irascibility。

The Unicorn in the Garden

The Unicorn in the Garden

The Unicorn in the Garden园子里的独角兽James Thurber1 Once upon a sunny morning a man who sat in a breakfast nook looked up from his scrambled eggs to see a white unicorn with a gold horn quietly cropping the roses in the garden. The man went up to the bedroom where his wife was still asleep and woke her. 'There's a unicorn in the garden.' he said. 'Eating roses.' She opened one unfriendly eye and looked at him. 'The unicorn is a mythical beast,' she said, and turned her back on him. The man walked slowly down stairs and out into the garden. The unicorn was still there: he was now browsing among the tulips. 'Here, unicorn,' said the man, and he pulled up a lily and gave it to him. The unicorn ate it gravely. With a high heart, because there was a unicorn in his garden, the man went upstairs and roused his wife again. 'The unicorn,' he said, 'ate a lily.' His wife sat up in bed and looked at him, coldly. 'You are a booby,' she said, 'and I am going to have you put in the booby-hatch.' The man, who had never liked the words 'booby' and 'booby-hatch,' and who liked them even less on a shining morning when there was a unicorn in the garden, thought for a moment. 'We'll see about that,' he said. He walked over to the door. 'He has a golden horn in the middle of his forehead,' he told her. Then he went back to the garden to watch the unicorn; but the unicorn had gone away. The man sat down among the roses and went to sleep.2 As soon as the husband had gone out of the house, the wife got up and dressed as fast as she could. She was very excited and there was a gloat in her eye. She telephoned the police and she telephoned a psychiatrist; she told them to hurry to her house and bring a strait-jacket. When the police and the psychiatrist arrived they sat down in chairs and looked at her, with great interest. 'My husband,' she said, 'saw a unicorn this morning.' The police looked at the psychiatrist and the psychiatrist looked at the police. 'He told me it ate a lily,' she said. The psychiatrist looked at the police and the police looked at the psychiatrist. 'He told me it had a golden horn in the middle of its forehead,' she said. At a solemn signal from the psychiatrist, the police leaped from their chairs and seized the wife. They had a hard time subduing her, for she put up a terrific struggle, but they finally subdued her. Just as they got her into the strait-jacket, the husband came back into the house.3 'Did you tell your wife you saw a unicorn?' asked the police. 'Of course not,' said the husband. 'The unicorn is a mythical beast.' 'That's all I wanted to know,' said the psychiatrist. 'Take her away. I'm sorry, sir, but your wife is as crazy as a jay bird.' So they took her away, cursing and screaming, andshut her up in an institution. The husband lived happily ever after.4 Moral: Don't county your boobies until they are hatched.

Mary was very unhappy at Mistlewaithe Manor, where she was not be allowed to explore the house.Chapter 2Mary was disappointed with Martha, a girl who works at Mistlethwaite Manor. Mary thought Martha was very rude to her, and Mary had trouble getting dressed by herself. She heard about Martha’s brother, who loved the moor and had a pet pony. Mary met Ben Weatherstaff, the gardener. Ben was kind to her and was friends with a robin. Ben warned Mary to stay away from the garden that had no door into it.Chapter 3Mary was happier and healthier now that she spent time outdoors. She talked to Martha about the garden with no door. Martha told her that her aunt and uncle loved to talk and read there. One day, a branch fell and injured her aunt, so that she died. Mary then heard a cry in the house, but Martha pretended it was nothing.Chapter 4Martha felt sorry for lonely Mary, so she bought her a jump rope. Mary went outside and played in the garden. She started talking to the robin. The robin showed her the key and entrance to the secret garden. It was beautiful, but not tended. Mary and Martha talked about getting a spade and visiting Martha’s home.Chapter 54Mary began working in the secret garden and asked Ben for some advice. Mary met Dickon, and the two looked at the garden tools and seeds that Dickon had purchased for her. Mary then took Dickon to the secret garden. Dickon promised to keep the secret. He also said he would help tidy up the garden.Chapter 6Mary finally met her uncle. He was not a bad man, but he looked very sad. He told Mary she could make a garden and then said he would be away for a long time. Mary worked in her garden until it rained. She heard crying, so she went to investigate. She met Colin, her uncle’s son. Colin told her that he felt his father did not love him since his mother died.Chapter 7Mary told Martha about Colin, and Martha was scared she would be fired. Mary visited the sickly Colin and told him that he should come outside. Dr. Craven came and was angry to see Mary. Mrs. Medlock, though, thought Colin looked better. Colin ordered that Mary should be allowed to stay.Chapter 8Mrs. Medlock told Mary about Colin and how he wanted to die. Mary and Dickon worked in the garden. When Mary came back inside, Colin was angry that she did not spend all of her time with him. Mary accused him of being selfish and left the room. The new nurse told Mary that Colin’s greatest problem was his temper. Uncle Archibald sent Mary some gifts, and she wanted to share them with Colin.Chapter 9Mary accused Colin of just saying things so people would feel sorry for him. Dickon and Mary took Colin to the secret garden, and he started to be healthier. Dr. Craven was not happy because he was hoping Colin would die so he could inherit the manor. Colin became healthier and could walk again. Martha’s mother wrote a letter telling Mr. Craven to come home. What you mought call me? You mought call me captain. Oh,I see what you' re at-there"; and he threw down three or four gold pieces on the threshold."You can tell me when I' ve worked through that,"says he, looking as fierce as a commander. And indeed bad as his clothes were and coarsely as he spoke, he had none of the appearance of aman who sailed before the mast, but seemed like a mate or skipper accustomed to be obeyed or to strike. The man who came with the barrow told us the mailhad set him down the morning before at the Royal George, that he had inquired what inns there were along the coast, and hearing ours well spoken of,I suppose, and described as lonely, had chosen it from the others for his place of residence. And that was all we could learn of our guest.。

他住在这个国家的Misselthwaite(米塞思韦特)庄园。

我不知道她将如何适应在Misselthwaite(米塞思韦特)庄园里的生活。

我在Misselthwaite(米塞思韦特)庄园不会感到高兴。

Misselthwaite(米塞思韦特)庄园在约克郡。

然后她想,自从她来到Misselthwaite(米塞思韦特)庄园以来,发生了四件好事。
