如上例子所示，汉语的标语则常用动词短语结构。
用名词或名词短语
Try to translate:
1. 创一流服务，迎四海嘉宾。 First class service to all guests.
2. 今日工作不努力，明日努力找工作。

用被动句

注意：英语和汉语标语大多数情况下都用的是 祈使句，其次就是陈述句，较少使用疑问句和 感叹句。

这类标语的特点是语气表达非常强烈。如：
Ask at the counter for details. 详情问柜台。
Please help us to keep the tube litter free. 请协助我们，保持地铁清洁卫生。
1. 名词化现象普遍 （即由名词或名词短语构成标语） 2. 多用祈使句 Do +V. / Please do not + V.
3. 陈述句中被动句比例大，尤见于书面化的语言中。
用名词或名词短语
这类标语以信息功能为主导。 如禁止类标语： No + n. No + doing. 肯定形式： Dangerous bend. Speed limit of 48 kmh. Parking for taxis only. Safety first in drivinቤተ መጻሕፍቲ ባይዱ.

根据汉英词典对标语的定义，标语就是用简 短文字写出的宣传鼓动口号。语言简洁明快， 赫然醒目，具有引人注意，令人难忘的特点， 富有很强的号召力和感染力。
英语标语的语言特点
标语并不都是由句子构成的，也可以由单词或短语等构成。 据统计，英语标语的句型有三个突出特点：
用祈使句
Try to translate:
1. 随时照看好你的物品。 Keep your belongings with you at all times.
2. 前方学校，请慢行。 SLOW, SCHOOL.
用被动句
一般来说，日常语言中被动句的比例小，但书面化的 语言中，尤其是标语、公示语中，被动句的比例 很大。即使在非被动句中，也常使用非人称代词 或名词做主语，以此给人一种客观的感觉。如： Luggage must not be put in the gateway. 行李不准放在过道上。 Tickets are subject to availability. 票在销售，售完为止。
