能力考查主要是考查考生对所听内容获取事实性的具体信息、做出简单推断,理解主旨大意等。

其中,可以直接听到具体信息的细节题占60%,所占比例仅比2012年小,而比往年高。

与往年相比,2016年听力难度系数为0.53,是近五年来难度最小的一年。

部分试题突出语境作用,考查说话者的言外之意。

如第16题,说话者Dorothy尽管使用了no way, never等否定词,但实际上她对这套公寓很满意。

另外,从统计数字中可以看出,信息是否直接呈现关系不大与得分高低的关系不大,如第1、14、18题的信息都是直接呈现,平均分都超过一分,而第5、19题,信息也是直接呈现,却是听力中平均分最低的两题(第5题:0.41分,第19题:0.36分)。
