篇一:The Disabled Should Have Equal RightsPeople who live with disabilities are always considered shameful, for it was difficult for them to manage to do the daily affairs that we take for granted. In fact, they have no differences from us expect their disabilities which are formed because of inborn deficiency or unfortunate accidents. Luckily, now we find that there is much we can do to help them, such as improving the living conditions of them. But one day when I got to a high-grade hotel, I realized that there was still much left for us to do to provide the equal access to the disabled. As soon as I got through the door of the hotel, I found it almost impossible for the lame or the blind to enter. The glass door would keep revolving unless someone stopped it. People in wheelchairs were hardly able to stop the door and it seemed that the width of the door was not as wide as that of the wheelchair. On the other hand, the revolving door was likely to hit the arms or heads of the blind when they tried to get through. The service counter was too high for the people in wheelchairs to reach. If they wanted to seek counsel of checking in or get publicity materials, they could hardly be served as normal people. The counter as well as the phones was in so high a position that it couldn’t be reached by people in wheelchairs. Exc ept these, the stairs were one of the inconvenient facilities for the disabled. There were no elevators or even plain passages for the lame, sothat they were unable to get to another floor unless others offered help.Every member of society has the right to a reasonable quality of life, including the disabled. As society develops, we have the responsibility to offer equal access. Only in this way are the disabled able to live productive and meaningful lives as we do. 篇二:鼓励残疾人Persons with disabilities in the present society is vulnerable, though it still has a lot of great success with disabilities. For example in 2005 Spring Festival Gala on the disabled performers of the "Thousand-hand Bodhisattva" is very exciting, though they are disabled, but their share of enthusiasm for life, for art's share of the pursuit of deeply touched me. Therefore, people with disabilities can not be inferior, and others do not take you as a VIP to treat people with disabilities, then you are successful. Now the national team has also been the education of persons with disabilities, in many places have school for the disabled, and even a university. Therefore, as people with disabilities should seize the opportunity to learn, to fight not the same as the sky!。

国际残疾人日英语作文倡议

As a high school student, Ive always been keen on social issues, and one that resonates deeply with me is the plight of people with disabilities. This year, on International Day of Persons with Disabilities, I decided to take a stand and initiate a campaign within my school to raise awareness and promote inclusivity. The idea for the campaign came to me during a class discussion about social equality. I realized that despite the progress weve made, people with disabilities often remain marginalized and overlooked. I wanted to change this perception and create a more inclusive environment, starting with my own school community.I began by conducting research on the challenges faced by people with disabilities. I learned about the physical, social, and economic barriers they encounter daily. This knowledge fueled my passion to make a difference. I reached out to my teachers and school administrators, proposing the idea of an awareness campaign. To my delight, they were supportive and encouraged me to take the lead. The campaign I envisioned was multifaceted. I wanted to educate my peers about the importance of inclusivity and the unique contributions people with disabilities can make to our society. I organized a series of events, including workshops, guest speakers, and interactive activities, to engage my fellow students. One of the highlights of the campaign was a workshop on disability etiquette. We invited experts to educate us on how to interact respectfullywith people with disabilities, emphasizing the importance of treating them as equals. The workshop was eyeopening, and many students expressed their newfound understanding and empathy. We also hosted a guest speaker, a successful entrepreneur with a disability, who shared her inspiring journey. Her story was a testament to the resilience and determination of people with disabilities. It challenged the stereotypes and misconceptions that many of us held.In addition to these events, I initiated a schoolwide pledge to promote inclusivity. Students were encouraged to sign the pledge, committing to treat everyone with respect and dignity, regardless of their abilities. The response was overwhelming, with nearly the entire school population participating. The International Day of Persons with Disabilities was a turning point for our school. It sparked conversations, changed perspectives, and fostered a sense of unity and compassion. I was proud to see my peers embracing the message of inclusivity and making a conscious effort to be more understanding and supportive. This campaign was not just about raising awareness it was about inspiring change. It taught me the power of advocacy and the importance of standing up for what I believe in. I hope that our schools efforts will inspire other communities to take similar steps towards inclusivity. As I reflect on this experience, I am reminded of the words of Helen Keller, who once said, Alone we can do so little together we can do so much. It is through collective action and understanding that we can create a more inclusive and compassionate world for everyone, regardless of their abilities.。

国际残疾人日英语作文英文回答:On the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, we celebrate the progress made towards an inclusive and equitable world for all, regardless of their abilities. Throughout history, people with disabilities have faced numerous challenges and barriers to their fullparticipation in society. However, in recent years, there has been growing recognition of the importance ofdisability rights and the need to create more inclusive and accessible communities. One of the most significant achievements in the fight for disability rights was the adoption of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons withDisabilities (CRPD) in 2006. This landmark treaty recognizes the inherent dignity, equality, and rights ofall persons with disabilities. It outlines a comprehensive set of civil, political, economic, social, and culturalrights that must be ensured for all persons with disabilities, regardless of their type or severity of disability.Since the adoption of the CRPD, there has been growing awareness of the need for accessibility in all aspects of society. This includes ensuring that buildings, transportation, and communication methods are accessible to everyone, regardless of their abilities. It also includes removing attitudinal barriers and promoting positive representations of persons with disabilities in the media and popular culture.Another important aspect of the fight for disability rights is the recognition of the importance of self-advocacy and empowerment. People with disabilities are increasingly demanding to be heard and to participate fully in decisions that affect their lives. They are establishing their own organizations and advocacy groups, and they are working to change public attitudes and policies.Despite the progress made in recent years, there isstill much work to be done to achieve full inclusion and equality for persons with disabilities. There are still many barriers to their full participation in society, and they continue to face discrimination and prejudice. On this International Day of Persons with Disabilities, let us recommit ourselves to working towards a world where everyone is valued and respected, regardless of their abilities.中文回答:国际残疾人日。
