北京大学考博英语一本通--阅读分析与技巧
阅读理解北大考博英语阅读题型概述及考情分析阅读理解短文内容涉及社会科学(主要包括社会学、教育、人类学、心理学、经济、管理、金融等领域)、自然科学(主要包括化学、生物、交通、物理、工程、计算机、医学、农业等领域)和人文科学(主要包括哲学、历史、文学、语言、新闻、艺术等领域)。
根据大纲要求,阅读理解的常考题型主要可归纳为以下几种:主旨大意题、推理判断题、词汇语义型、事实细节题及观点态度题。
北大考博英语的阅读理解分A、B两个部分:第一部分:阅读选择题北大考博英语阅读题提供3篇400-500字左右的文章,每篇短文有5道选择题,每道题从4个选项中选出最佳答案。
每道题一分,共15分。
考生需完成1800-2200词汇的阅读量。
这一部分主要测试考生在规定时间内通过阅读获取相关信息的能力。
要求考生能够:1.掌握中心思想、主要内容和具体细节;2.进行相关的分析、判断和推理;3.准确把握某些词和词组在上下文中的特定含义;4.领会作者的观点和意图、判断作者的态度。
从近几年北大考博英语文章选材来看,文章主要涉及的是医学、生物、环保、政治经济等,比较专业的科普性质的文章出现频率较高,科普性文章一般比较晦涩难懂,很难把握正确答案,专业词汇出现频率高。
从北大考博英语阅读理解整体来看,最常考,最难、所占分值最高的是以下几种题型:细节题、对错题、推论题和主旨题。
本书将围绕这四个重点设置专项拔高联系。
学完此书要求考生从整体上要把握好出题的规律,但在具体的细节上要把握命题人的考试意图,将考点击破,双管齐下,实现考分的飞跃。
下面介绍北大考博英语阅读理解问题的几种主要出题手段、解题技巧和实例分析。
A、细节题1.标志:针对性提问2.思路:做题的关键是返回原文,不要凭印象做题,返回原文要有定位意识3.细节题迷惑选项的常用手段有:偷换概念、扩大范围、正反混淆、颠倒因果、常识判断(列举和文章无关的常识,尽管常识是对的,但文章中未提,这也是错误答案)例:2010. Question 42. 2017年北京大学博士研究生英语水平考试试题
2017年1月8日8:30-11:30在北京大学二教举行。
第一部分听力
分值20分,时间20分钟。
第一题,三个短独白,读一遍,语速较快,题目和材料之间没有提示或停顿。
材料涉及医生之类的,学术性较强。
每个3-4题,每题1分,共10分
第二题,一个长独白,读两遍,语速快,关于神经科学之类的,填空。
共20个空,每题0.5分,共10分
难度较大,语速快生词多,定位不容易,单词拼写要求较高。
听到的单词里面有要求填写如chronic,neuro 这样的单词。
第二部分阅读
分值共40分,建议时间40分钟。
共4篇阅读,每篇阅读5个题目,每个2分。
都是单选,跟专八类似,考察阅读、思维和理解等。
阅读材料难度一般,六级考过500分的,对于基本意思还是能看懂。
长度也一般,结构不会很复杂。
但是题目都属于理解判断题,难度较大,并不能直接从原文找到对应答案,需要理解分析。
题目涉及第四次工业革命,毕加索的雕像艺术等。
在9:30分左右会继续播放作文的听力材料,所以建议安排好时间,快到9:30的时候先放下阅读,去看第一道作文材料。
第三部分写作
分值40分,建议时间100分钟
共三个题目
第一个题目,给出一篇文章,并播放一段录音,比较两篇文章,并结合自己观点进行写作,300个单词左右。
这次考的是Altruism
Whether there is true altruism
听力材料大概两分钟,需要自己做一些笔记,另外给出的文章材料也不是很长。
第二个题目,写一则招聘启事。
Job advertisement
关于招聘儿童图书编辑,要求写出:
1.出版社情况,这个项目情况。
(题目给出)
2.招聘的岗位和具体要求。
(题目未给出)
3.薪资和福利。
(题目未给出)
150单词以上。
第三个题目,给出一篇文章,长文。
要翻好久才能翻完,考略读和翻译概括的功夫。
内容是关于科技及其带来问题,文章比较有逻辑,难度适中。
但很多人没时间写完这一部分,而且看错了题目写成了英文。
要求用中文概述其主要意思,300字左右。
