——学会There is / are…。Is/are there..的句型及用法。

二、教学重难点 1. 教学重点：

①Where 引导的特殊疑问句

②there be 句型的肯定式、一般疑问句及其回答方式。③方位介

词的用法。 2. 教学难点：方位介词的用法。

三、教学过程

Ⅰ. Lead-in:

T: Hello, everyone, please think about prepositions for position S: in , on……

Ⅱ. Presentation:

1. T: Good, today we are going to learn other prepositions for position and several nouns. Please look at the following new words：（通过展示图片学习新词）

post office,police station, hotel, restaurant,

bank, hospital, street, pay phone,

At first, ask a few students to try to read them, then the teacher correct s their pronunciations.

Then show some pictures to revise the above new word by asking the question(比眼力):

T: What’s this?

Ss:It’s a …

2. Complete 1a : Match the words with the places in the picture.

3. Listening 1b: Listen and circle the places you hear in 1a.

(听力指导：做好听力题的两个关键：一是听前看图片或者文字材料；

二是听时抓住关键词。)

(say about a general question and negative of “there be” .A positive a nswer is “Yes, there is “or“Yes, there are.” A negative answer is “No, there isn’t“, or “No, there aren’t.” )

5.Pairwork1c: Ask the Ss to ask and answer questions about the places in 1a on page 43.

6.Listening:

1)Work on 2a: Math the sentences with the pictures.Write each

number in the box.

(介词：in , on, across from, next to, between…and…, in front of , behind)

2)T: Now, look at 2b, listen and fill in the blanks with the words in the

box. The students check the answers.

7. Pair work :Show the pictues in 2a and ask and answer in pairs, like

this:

A: Where’s the hospital?

B: It’s next to the police station.

8. Role-play:

1.) Ask Ss to look at the conversations in 2d, and listen.

2.)Then Ss read the conversation by themselves and try to find out

difficulties and suspicious.

1. across from意为“在……对面”

e.g. The bank is across from our school. 银行就在我们学校对面。【拓展】 across 作介词，意为“从一边到另一边；横过”

e.g. Can you swim across the river? 你能游过这条河吗？

2. in front of 意为“在……前面”（在某范围之外）

e.g. There is a car in front of the house. 在房子前一辆小汽车。

【辨析】in the front of “在……前面”（在某范围之内）

e.g. There is a table in the front of the classroom.

在教室的前面有一张桌子。

3. next to 意为“紧靠着；紧挨着；贴近”

e.g. The little boy is nex小男孩紧挨着他的母亲。

【辨析】next to与near的区别

从空间讲near 只表示“在……附近”；而next to有“紧挨着”之意；next to比near靠的更近。

如：Peter sits next to Mike. 彼特紧挨着迈克坐。

Peter sits near Tom. 彼特坐在汤姆附近。

4. How can I help you? 需要我帮忙吗？

表示向他人伸出援手，主动提出帮助的意思，此句还可说成：How can I help you?或How may I help you? 类似的句子还有： May I help you?
