This movie is all about choices. Anyone of any age who watches this movie will be left with absolutely no excuse to wallow in self pity. While this movie is a remarkable endeavor, it could have been even better. Understandably you can only fit so much content into a movie. Moreover,I'm certain that the writers included all of the key elements of Liz's life. However, this movie would have stood in a class by itself if only they had delved into Liz's true character. They did an exceptional job of depicting the decadent life that she was subject to, her reactions to it, and her existence within it. However, you don't get to see inside of Liz to actually know what she's all about. In addition, I sensed that we were shown a slightly whitewashed portrait of Liz in contrast to her true self. I suspect that she was in fact a little less innocent and a little more tarnished and troublesome than she was portrayed to be. If there's one unanswered question lingering on viewer's minds, it has to be: Why, after overcoming such insurmountable adversity, did she end up leaving Harvard? All that aside, 'Homeless To Harvard' is truly a triumph of the human spirit movie. This will be a treasured prize for your DVD/VHS collection when it becomes available。

She‘d like to take care of her. Because to Liz, only a house with mum could be called home . She loved her mother so deeply no matter what her mother is, or what her mother will be . At her mother ‘s funerals, she slept on the coffin ,recalling those happy days her mother had ever brought to her . Liz gave inclusive love to her parents rather than complained about the sad life her parents brought to her ,rather than hated them for not having gave her a happy and normal childhood.This really touched me . How about you, guys? Love, the most brightly shining word, is another sun that lights up everyone’s heart.When faced with all kinds of difficulties, Liz showed us great strength. A Film Review of Homeless to Harvard
Based on a true story that a girl who lead a poor and unfortunate life was admitted to the Harvard by means of her determination and hard working,”Homeless to Harvard”is a very inspiring, meaningful andtouching film played in 2003.The movie shoot by Peter Levin, and this is his most successful work in hisdirector career.
Personally, in this movie, the most impressive part is when the leading role Liz visited the Harvard, looking at those college students who looked happy and hopeful, she thought about her past life and the unknown future.At that time, she made up her mind to try her best to become the one here and become a real new person, and she knew that”
I just need a chance.”We can even feel the desire of changing lit up her mind, and gave me endless strength in her eyes. After that, she never lost her aim under poverty and helpless, as brave as she could be, Liz is the strongest girl in Harvard.
In the film, the statement of Liz Murray promotes thedevelopment of plotof the film,her life before she went to the Harvard is shown in flashback. And this two methods made the film more Persuasive and vivid. When she reached her destination, no one can deny that she deserve it, she deserve the Harvard because of her unmovable faith.。
