如果全球化真的代表着一个平等公正的"地球村"，各个国家、民族融为一体、互通有无，那就不会出现那么多全球化的反对者了。
学者戴锦华在《大众文化包围中的文学》(《在北大听讲座：思想的魅力》第64页)一针见血地指出："所谓全球化，一个简单但多少有些极端的说法，就是'美国化'"。
可以看出，全球化的真正推动者是发达国家，更准确地说是最发达国家，除此之外的任何国家都在这个"化"的范围里，不留一点情面。
驱使这些国家进行全球化的根本动机不言自明，说好听一点叫市场化，说白一点就是金钱化。
这在经济领域尤为明显，如今的世界经济格局已到了美国股市打个喷嚏全球市场就感冒的程度，而大多数国家只能被动接受。
