The whole adventure feeling of the movie was exciting and engaging. "Up" is supposedly about achieving our dreams, discovering who we really are, learning to adapt to the changes life brings tnitially thrilled to meet his hero, when he realizes that Muntz is after Kevin and will kill to obtain her, Carl takes steps to save the bird and escape from Muntz.
