许多权威的评论家和著名作家写文章赞扬了其深刻的思想内容和艺术创意的工作，高度评价了其历史价值和艺术价值，将菲茨杰拉德的声誉提高到前所未有的高度。
文章从改写理论的角度，来谈刘峰对小说《了不起的盖茨比》的改写。

在中国《了不起盖茨比》的翻译本大约有三十多种，翻译者也有四十多个。
面对一再翻译，甚至是多次出版的经典小说，其到底有何种吸引力呢？文章从改写理论来谈2009年上海三联出版社出版的由刘峰翻译的《了不起的盖茨比》。
一、改写理论概念界定改写理论是建立在一种新型的文学翻译理念的基础上，与传统文学翻译注重文本和重视语言对比的翻译策略相比，由安德烈·勒弗维尔提出的翻译改写理论更重视文化和翻译之间的相互作用，更注重文化对翻译的“操纵”，换言之，安德烈·勒弗维尔的翻译改写理论更加注重对小说文本的“意”的翻译。
在翻译理论中，传统的翻译理论和勒弗维尔的改写理论之间展开了很长一段时间的较量，其实这两种翻译策略之间没有高低贵贱之分，只是面对的角度不同。
安德烈·勒弗维尔提出的改写理论，是从折射理论变化而来，在折射理论里就提及，翻译本小说要想在读者中获得广泛的影响和持久的生命力，必须要对文本进行改编，将其本土化，适合本土的国情与文化背景。

将翻译向文化转向，他提出制约文化介译的三个要素是意识形态、社会主流的诗学和赞助人。
本文旨在以翻译改写理论为视角，分析刘峰的《了不起的盖茨比》的中文译本中改写理论所起到的作用。
关键词：《了不起的盖茨比》改写理论意识形态文化改写1.引言2013年一部电影的热映，让《了不起的盖茨比》再次走入人们的视线，成为炙手可热的话题。
其实，在这部电影与中国观众见面之前，译者刘峰的《了不起的盖茨比》的中文译本就于2012年4月出版发行了。
著名日本作家村上春树评价这部作品是一部关于美国梦及其破灭的故事，这样一部极具美国本土文化色彩的文学作品，要成功翻译，就不得不用到翻译改写理论，在一定程度上使其符合中国观众的阅读习惯和文化观念。
本文着眼于分析刘峰《了不起的盖茨比》中文译本中，运用翻译改写理论的翻译策略所呈现出的中国本土文化的遣词造句。
2.改写理论简述传统的翻译研究注重语言对照和文本分析，即重形；而勒弗维尔提出的翻译改写理论则注重翻译与文化的相互作用，强调文化因素对翻译的影响和制约，即重意。
“形”与“意”的碰撞在翻译理论和研究发展史上是一场没有硝烟也没有胜败的“战争”。
20世纪80年代，翻译的文化论登上舞台，其代表人物之一美国学者勒弗维尔提出了翻译改写理论的雏形——“折射”理论，“折射”指对文学作品的改编，他认为文学作品之所以能够广泛传播，甚至影响深远，得益于译者为不同的读者而进行的改编。
1990年，勒弗维尔明确提出翻译就是文化改写，改写就是“操纵”的理论，改写是出于意识形态和诗学的需要。
之后，他对改写理论做了更深入的研究和完善，最终确立了翻译改写理论，提出了“改写”的作用及意义，并从文学系统角度出发，指出了制约文化介译的三个要素，即意识形态、社会主流的诗学和赞助人。

他是黛西的表哥。
而盖茨比是他的邻居，住在豪华的盖茨比公馆。
盖茨比年轻时曾与黛西相恋，但因家境不好而分手，后来他参加第一次世界大战，而黛西则嫁给了富家公子汤姆，并生下一个女儿。
五年后，黛西一家由芝加哥搬到西部。
尼克开始和他们往来密切。
五年内盖茨比用非法手段积聚大量财富。
追随黛西来到纽约。
在黛西家对面买下豪华别墅—盖茨比公馆。
而且每周六在别墅举行大型就会。
就是为吸引已婚的黛西相会。
从而复活他们之间已失去的感情。
一次偶然机会盖茨比知道尼克是黛西的表兄。
请求他安排与黛西的会面。
之后他们频繁幽会。
他渐渐发现黛西的虚荣与俗气。
盖茨比的美丽旧梦终于被打碎了，但他还在做最后的挣扎，仍对黛西抱有一丝幻想，以至遭遇了更加凄惨可悲的结局。
后来黛西在一次酒后驾驶盖茨比的车时轧死了汤姆的情妇，却与汤姆一道密谋并残忍地嫁祸于盖茨比，导致死者的丈夫突然闯入盖茨比家中并开枪打死了盖茨比，然后自杀身亡。
而黛西则和汤姆去欧洲旅行了。
在葬礼上盖茨比可怜的父亲和你可两人。
使盖茨比最终彻底成为自私而残忍的黛西的牺牲品。
在我看来，盖茨比是个优秀人。
他总是表现的风度翩翩，极有绅士风度。

人生若只如初见，却道故人心易变
——《了不起的盖茨比》读后感第一次听说这本书，始于它的同名电影。
由于在高三的时候上映，便理所应当的错过了。
假期逛书店时，再次邂逅，就毫不犹豫的买下。
读完这本书，盖茨比与黛西的爱情故事让我自然联想到了纳兰容若的词——“人生
若只如初见，何事秋风悲画扇。
等闲变却故人心，却道故人心易变。
”
在我眼里，他是个傻子，爱情里的傻瓜，爱情让他变得神经质，暴躁易怒，孤单，
空虚，可悲。
豪掷千金举办派对，为的只是有一天黛西能够来；拐弯抹角地制造与黛西
见面的机会；不顾一切地想要占有黛西，远走高飞。
电影中，尼克将书名由《盖茨比》改为《了不起的盖茨比》。
我就在想，盖茨比哪里了不起？
他这一生是悲剧的。
盖茨比本身的悲剧性在于，在那股向上的力量背后，他是如此的贫瘠和荒芜，因为除了无尽的梦想和乐观，他是如此的一无所有。
甚至，那份梦想也不过是空洞的海市蜃楼而从未真正实现。
在现实中，纸醉金迷的派对带来的人们虚伪的敬意不是他的梦想，梦牵魂系的黛西也及不上他的梦想。
把所有人想象的和自己一样高尚，是盖茨比一生最大的错误。
他爱黛西，他以为黛西也会像他一样，将他们的爱情封存于心底，只等他启。
可她，和那个时代任何一个有几分见识的富家千金一样，将有限的理想和激情龟缩在平庸和软弱里，她和汤姆属于这样一个阶级：出身已经给了他们最安全的保护壳，他们的一切勇气和热情来源于此，他们的一切梦想不过是局限于此的一点生活调味品，他们离开了保护壳就会不知所措。
所以，她会跟汤姆这样一个俗不可耐的山野莽夫结婚生子。
盖茨比永远不会明白，这才是世常。
这并不是贫穷与富有所能决定得了的事情。
那个时代的女人，也许会为了那些高尚的情操而一时心动，这种高尚，是能够让每一个人都砰然心动的节奏。
但回归到生活，她们永远不会选择这种离世界太远的人和态度与方式。
因为她们始终觉得不可靠，没有安全感，因为它“太不现实”。
书中，在尼克离开盖茨比去上班之前，对盖茨比说了唯一一句赞美他的话，“他们是一帮混蛋，他们那一大帮子都放在一堆还比不上你。
”
是的，没有人能比得上盖茨比。
他有梦想，有追求，并为之不懈努力着；他爱黛西，始终如一，奋不顾身。
盖茨比之所以了不起，只是因为他在这个消逝与改变的世界里，尚且在追求着一种永恒的东西。
这种追求，因为纯粹，所以高尚。
最伟大的绅士，情操，在时代的面前最终都是孤独的。
黛西开车撞死茉特尔，盖茨比承担了所有后果，甚至为之丧命，葬礼之时，黛西连看都不去看一眼。
只有尼克，为他举办葬礼，安排后事。
那些曾参加他的派对的人，早已消失的无影无踪，就连扶他走上富裕之路的合伙人都百般推脱。
“等闲变却故人心，谁道故人心易变。
”这句话，给盖茨比的爱情。

”这一句，给所有时代里的高尚者。
我们没有生活在最纸醉金迷的时代，但，我们这个时代更善变，也更加模糊不清。
坚定自己的理想、追求、信仰在这时显得尤为重要。
盖茨比信奉的那盏绿灯，这个一年年在我们眼前渐渐远去的极乐的未来。
它从前逃脱了我们的追求，不过那没关系——明天我们跑得更快一点，把胳臂伸得更远一点……总有一天……
于是我们奋力向前划，逆流向上的小舟，不停地倒退，进入过去。
