a.基数词的用法:

例如：电话号码：7521346: seven five two one three four six

102 房间：Room One O Two 11 路公共汽车：No. Eleven Bus

2. 表示年代、年龄、时刻等。

例如：1998年：nineteen ninety-eight（先读前两位，再读后两位）

2009 年: two thousand and nine 12 岁：twelve years old

8:00: eight/eight o' ciock 1:30: one thirty 2:40: two forty 3:45: three forty-five

★时间和日期的表达

有两种时间表达法：

A）直接读写数词。如：9:15 nine fifteen 10:30 ten thirty 11:45 eleve n forty-five

7:05 seve n o five 2:25 two twen ty-five 5:55 five fifty-five

B）借助past和to来表达。past 一般用于30分钟以内（含30分钟）的时间表达；to 一般

用于超过30分钟的时间表达。一刻钟可以用 a quarter表示，半小时可以用half表示。

b.序数词的用法:

1. 表示顺序时用序数词，前面要加上定冠词the.

例如：Ja nuary is the first mon th of a year.（一月是一年中的第一个月）

2. 表示日期时按月、日、年或日、月、年的顺序来表示，日子习惯上用序数词

来表示。

例如：December 25th is Christmas Day.

★日期的表达：①月份+（the）+序数词女口：November （the） 10th ②the+序数词+of+ 月份。如：the third of June 六月三日

3. 基数词也可以表示顺序。只需将基数词放在它所修饰的名词之后（名词需大写）即
