For one thing, it can help them to practice oral English and listening competence as well as learn some idioms. The reason is that it is widely considered to be one of the most effective approaches to make the youths be exposed to authentic commutative context. 第十届全国创新英语大赛华北赛区优胜奖名单第十届全国创新英语大赛于2011年7月17日在全国八大赛区的北京、济南、石家庄、太原、南京、广州、郑州、长沙、沈阳、哈尔滨、长春、西安、成都、重庆十四个赛点落下帷幕。
本届大赛在老师、学生和家长的大力支持下，如期举办，并取得了圆满成功。
第十届全国创新英语大赛分为两级奖励制度，复赛在评选大赛全国优胜者的同时，评选出各分赛区优胜者；全国优胜者为国家级学科大赛奖励，分赛区优胜者属于省级以上学科大赛奖励。
其在高考录取中的作用按参加高考当年相关招生院校自主招生办法执行。
