Failure Leads to Success姓名赵思凌四川省绵阳市东辰国际学校 2007级4班级准考证号 282Staring at my marks, I was trembling. The highlighted ‘50’ waslike explosions in the sky (a bolt from the blue) , which suggested I was (去掉) utterly failed. However, to my astonishment,my mother didn’t keep a straight face with my paper in hand. Slowl y she said, “It’s compulsory to face the music, boy. Always remember: Failure leads to success.” Ever since then, I committed those words to memory to stand up again after failure. My dear friends, failure is not dire. What is (去掉) really awesomeis giving yourselves overto the bad mood after failure. It’s a common sense that everybody wants to end up in success, so sparing no effort to work hard becomes acorollary. In history, examples of peoples who succeeded after failure were as many as stars can be (去掉).For instance, Edison was kicked out of school on account of his bad grades. However, he immediately overcame the sadness and committed himself to scientific invention. Then, as we all know, he became the greatest inventor after failure and was universally highly though (thought) of. From this, we can see, failure never defeated Edison. On the contrary, failure turned into the power of his success. On top of that, I want to mention Alert Einstein, whose life was considered a downright failure by his teachers. Alert’s teacher used to maintain that he (the boy) was too iconoclastic and inevitable to become a philistine. Alert took a very view of that. He developed his interest in physics and tried his best to do research on some moscopolitan (cosmopoli tan) problems. At last, his “Theory of Relativity” made the world convinced that he was successful.Depending on my personal experience and emotional concern, failureis totally the darkness before dawn. if (If) we pull ourselves out of the black abyss, w e will see the sun shining above the horizon.” God helps those who help themselves.” Only when we help ourselves in (out of)failure, it eventually leads to success (can we eventually achieve success)Failure and Success姓名王峥山东省青晶市第二中学校二、14班级准考证号 32An ancient Chinese adage says, “Failure is the mother of success”. It tells us that failureteaches people how to succeed. Those philosiphers (philosophers) are always right. No one is a winner for life-long, and thus everybody, even the most successful ones, has failed in sake of (for the sake of) various reasons. The story of Mr. Abraham Lincoln, the previous president of America, offers us a proper example. Mr. Lincoln started his political journey in his early 20 (20s), but the fate tricked him. Among his first ten attempts of running for elections for political positions like (去掉) Senator and(or) the Head of the State, Mr. Lincoln only won once, and then numerous failures stepped up after that. But he never stopped. Finally, in his 50 (50s), Mr. Lincoln became the president of America. His failures led to his success. All the valuable experiences, including the mistakes, showed him how to succeed. Then, it is obvious that failure can help not only Mr. Lincoln but also everyone to gain experiences and to avoid mistakes. Thus success comes.Despite the reason described in the above paragraph, another subtle one also serves to the topic. Failure forces people to explore new means to success. KFC is a case in point. As everybody knows, KFC’s origins were in America, but it was not as successful as McDonald. But when KFC came to China, it became popular in one night (overnight). People, especially kids, loved it. KFC has found its new way in China.Situations must be the same to everyone if they explore new things in their failures.Taking into account all the relevant factors that affect and contribute to the topic, we may safely conclude that, failure, indeed, leads people all the way to success.Failure and Success姓名韩金延北京市中国人民大学附属中学学校高二13班级准考证号 379 Thomas Edison, one of the greatest scientists ever happened to (in) the world, had experienced failure many times, more than we can ever think of. In inventing the light bulb, he tried more than 2,000 materials, yet they all failed. Though this might be enough to deprive the hope of success from anyone, it didn’t discourage Edison. He went on trying until he find (found) the right material. He achieved success after thousands of times of failure (failures). In real life, we all have to experience failure. Nobody can be successful all his life without meeting even one downfall. We may feel happy when we succeed and are sad when we fail. However, the important thing is that we shouldn’t be discouraged or give up hope when we meet failure.Failure is always on our way to success, yet we have to overcomethat difficulty to achieve our goal.Jay Chou is a good example. Everyone knows the singer Jay Chou now, but only a few years ago, he was just an ordinary musician who wrote songs for other singers. H is music wasn’t accepted at first because itwas regarded as “wierd (weird)”. Jay, however, didn’t give up. He continued with his music until success finally knocked at the door.Stephen Chou (Zhou Xingchi) is another persistant (persistent) mannot discouraged by failure. Before he became a world figure, he could only play small parts in films. What’s more, his acting skills weren’t recognized by his fellow actors. The many (去掉) times of failure andthe (去掉) difficulties he faced were unbelievable. Stephen, however, didn’t give up. He held on to his dreams until the days of gloryfinally arrived.Failures are unavoidable if we are to succeed. We should be adamant enough as not to be discouraged, persistant (persistent) enough as notto give up and diligent enough to overcome the barriers of failure. If we can do that, we will find that success will light our way.Beat Them~You’ll Win梁毅超北京市中国人民大学附属中学学校高三11班级准考证号 355 姓名As many say, failure is the origin of success. People are usually delighted when achieving success. But they may feel sad and discouraged when facing failure. This seems to be usual. However, in my opinion, only when we treat failure as good experiences can we make a difference.First of all, to my mind, sadness and disappointment are senses of weakness. A brave man should keep going on when running intodifficulties or problems. For instance, Stephen Hawking was diagnosedwith a serious disease only a few days after his 21 -year-old birthday. It (插入was)said that he would die in several months. Facing disability anddeath, he went on doing his research. As disabled (Disable as) he was,he used a wheel chair and a laptop to keep track of others. In the long run, he finished his book (A Brief History of Time). As we all known (know), Dr. Hawking struggled against his fortune and get (got) successat last. We should always keep in mind that beating failure is toachieve success. The more failure you experience, the more you can learn. As far as I am concerned, being confident is also essential toachieve success. Confidence to a man is (插入 what) gas to a car. If you are facing a great challenge, telling yourself “I can do that” is a significant way to inspire yourself. You’ll feel getting stronger insensibly.Trust yourself, thus you can conquer anything with an iron will.Everyone is willing to achieve success, while the way (插入of)treating failure is a notableproblem as well. Achieving success is not without’ risk. That means facing failure, you’d betterregard failure as good gifts, or else you may not get over it. Tosum up, you should beat the failure, then come (comes) the success.Don’t be frightened with failure~Beat them, and you’llwin!Attitudes towards Failure and Success姓名逮秋月山东省章丘市章丘四中学校高二?7班班级准考证号 321It’s no exaggeration to compare our life stage to a battle field which is loaded with both failure and success. From cradle to grave, people from different levels of life, almost everyone has to experience different kinds of battles: the competitions between students, between businessmen, even between countries, etc. As a consequence, we will face not only success but also failure. From the point of my view, proper attitudes should be taken towards failure and success. Most often, when we are successful we are happy. After all, competition means that one do (does) one’s utmost to reach for things which are wanted by others, blow that you are successful, it means that you are the winner. So to speak, everyone dreams of succeeding and it’s commonto be happy if your dream comes into reality. However, just as anold saying goes: Pride goes before a fall. We mustn’t sink our self (ourselves) into the world of flowers and congratulations. Come down to earth, more things of the essence remained to be done yet. History abounds with the example of that. Qing Dynasty fell behind other countries on account of its ridiculous satisfaction. It closed its window to the world and no foreign trades were allowed. Finally, it was beaten by western countries. Thus, we must be aware o f the circumstances and can’t be too proud of ourselves. Meanwhile, as failure is unavoided (unavoidable) in our life, more attention should be paid to failure.First and foremost, we must absorb lessons from our failure. One mustn’t fall in the sameplace twice. Just as a proverb goes: Fall in a pit gain in your wise (A fall into a pit, a gain is your wit). Besides, everyone makes mistakes. Someone has said that show me a man who never makes mistakes and I will show you a person with two heads. That is t o say, it’s undeniable forone to make mistakes and failure is a piece of dish that everyone must taste, despite (although) you are reluctant to face it. As a result, positive attitude (attiutdes) should be taken towards failure. Failureis the mother of success. Only if you are aware of that, you will succeed in the end. As is known to all, Napolon (Napoleon) is considered as the greatest person in France. He had experienced numerous warsbefore he succeeded. I remember that he once said, “You can never find ‘ failure’ in my dictionary. “ Yes, he succeeded andhe never regreted (regretted) for what he had done. Keep in mind that there is only one winner, but everyone should strive for it. Most often, the obstacle to success is not our failure, but is our fears. If you failed, cheer up, everthing (everything) will be OK.All in all, no matter it is sunny or cloudy, as long as we take positive attitudes towards it, success will finally come. Confidence is the first step to success. Come on, we are the best.Failure and Success姓名张伟山东省潍坊市昌乐二中学校高二、31班级准考证号 148No one can avoid being influenced by failure and success. As far asI know, there are countless people, who enjoy a high level of reputation, suffering from a great deal of failure and success.Actually, the road of Life is twittered (littered) with boulders and pitted with holes. It seems the same that life is filled with failureand success, making it more and more colorful .Because of them, the life is a long wonderful word.As (插入 the) saying goes that no cross, no crown, failure alwayswins respect of many great scientists, for it adds color to the dull routine of everyone’s life. For example, Madam Cuie (Madame Curie) suffered a large number of sufferings, achieving her goals. Eventually, she won the Nobel (插入Prize). Though it’s possible to measure the value of material goods in terms of money, it’s extremely difficult to estimate the true value of failure, for it maybe marks the prelude to a series of success.Obviously, success is a shining star sought by a great many people. Some people hold a view that achieving one’s goals is the only success that matters. Frankly speaking, achieving one’s goals is just apersonal success. Whether or not it is accepted by society depends on what the goals are and what the ways are. If your success is built on another’s suffering, it’s not only unacceptable, but also immoral. In the light of this statement, Making (making) a contribution to societyis the best way to enjoy success, for your efforts and values areappreciated by society, so you will be successful in the eyes of the public. In the final analysis, failure is connected to success, and theyexert a great influence on us everyday. As a result, the more thefailure we suffered, the more (greater) the success we gained. So, come on, everyone, let’s be greed of (greedy for) failure so that we can possess a colorful future filled with flowers!名刘明珠辽宁省抚顺市抚顺市第二中学学校高二、2班级准考证号 79 As the saying goes, “Failure is the mother of success.” l thinkone of the most important lessons in our life is to learn how to get success from failure. One who is in the flower of his youth must go through stages when he fails. Some people feel sad whereas others feel it (去掉) worthy.Attitude counts everything. It can change one in a matter of moments. We must believe failure is not an end but a means to an end. We shouldlearn to get success from it.Then we will find that failure is a beacon, illuminating one’s soul, lending brightness toone’s being and leading on e to success. It is also an angel, bringing us all the quantities (qualities) we need to achieve success. In short, nothing can hold back an active attitude and failure isthe freshness of the deepest springs of life. When we get low marks, we should do my (our) best to change the situation by virtue of thinking twice. When we aren’t eapable ofachieving goals we must also develop our ability by gaining experience. That’s why the famous inventor, Tomas Edison, achieved success and was at the topof science mountains (at the peak of science and technology). He believed that a thousand mistakes are for one success. In a word, we must give full play to our failure. Success is having the courage to get something without being defeated. May our homeland become more and more thriving with our ability to get success fromfailure develop.Find a Way Out姓名段俊壵江苏省苏州市江苏省外国语学校高二(9)班级准考证号 272 On roads of life, everyone is chasing his dreams. Sometimes you’re ahead, sometimes you’re behind. You must be happy wh en you succeed and you may be sad when you fail. And I do believe as long as you have a strong will and hold on to the end, you’re sure to succeed.Have you lever seen the epic movie The Lord of the Rings? It was a wonderful trilogy. And the journey of Frodo and his fellows impressed me. When given the task, Frodo was afraid. During the journey, he learned a lot from the wise wizard, Gandalf. And later, he suffered a lot more (去掉), such as losing friends, getting run after by swordsmen and so on. But all t hese didn’t stop him because he had a strong will and he told himself again and again that he had to destroy the Ring. Although, inthe end, he didn’t do it himself, I think he was still a hero. And next (Another) my own meandering experience also shows so. When I was in junior middle school, my English was poor. Since I didn’t have any basic knowledge, I had to learn all thesefrom scratch. It was difficult for me to hold on and I was once in total despair. Then I read a book, on which it says, and I quote, (which says,) “The race is long, and, in the end, it’s only with yourself.” It really cheered me up, and from then on, I made up my mind to learn English well. Several years passed, and now I’m sitting in this classroom, attending this exciting competition. It proved my success, didn’t it?We often suffer setbacks in life. The question is how to find a way out. A strong will and perseverance will help you. And here is a wonderful lyrics for you to remember, “When the night is overcome, you may rise to find the sun. “Failure and Success姓名褚汉安徽省蚌埠市铁中学校高二(4)班级准考证号 367In modern society, competitions are taken places (exist) everywhere, and increasingly make people feel nervous and anxious. People in every field are forced to face the failure and success. One of the NBA mottos says, “Go hard, or go home!” It seems that the distinction between failureand success has become the only destination of our life. However, in my point of view, failure or success is not that important.200 years ago, Napolean, empiror of France, (Napoleon, the emperorof France,) was defeated in “Waterloo”, Which is now used to describe “a great failure”. No one dare say he is a loser. Instead, he was regarded as an eternal hero not only in France, but also in the world. T here’sno denying that he is a powerful men, and he brought his totally new ideology of freedom and liberty to nearly the entire Europe. He sought the end of tyranny and dictatorship on the ancient land. He desired to built (build) up a civilized nation in Europe, even in the world. Tile three laws made by him enabled all the kings to fear and shiver, because the laws marked their days would soon come. What’s more important, his laws gave birth to the modem system of civil rights. In common with him, Xiang Yu is a failure hero in China. Fail (Failed) as he is, he becomes an original hero in Chinese culture. He ended his life with a sad but romantic legend, which, for thousands of years, has been winning a nation’s respect and memory. And this changed an ancientprinciple that the winner is a king, the loser is a crown (the loser a bandit).U. S. president George W. Bush once said, “Before history waswritten in books, it is written in courage. “Truely (True) it is,(插入and) the legends of the heroes, from both (去掉) westand (to) east, have proved it. One should care about what he did,not the result will be (去掉). Everybody completes his own tasks and work, That is enough. At this time last year, I was sitting in the same classroom and taking the same test. Unexpectedly, I got a (an) excellent result. And this year I came here again, not only want a result for the (a) second time, but a (an) experience for the (a) second time.Because I strongly believe that life is not a destination, but a journey. So wor k like you don’t need money, love like you have never been hurt, dance like no one’s watching, and toke exam like there is no failure or success. (本句受汉语思维影响太大,建议改为: So enjoy the senseof achievement in work, not the pay; enjoy the sense of beauty in love, not the possible hurt; enjoy the sense of rhythm in dance, not the peculiar sight from others; enjoy the sense of excitement in exam, not the final result. )Failure and Success姓名王毅纯甘肃省金昌市永昌县第一高级中学学校高二(2)班级准考证号50Every coin has two sides. That is to say, one thing has two kinds of results, When we try to do something, we may succeed, and we may fail as well. Most often, we are happy when we succeed in doing something. If we fail, we are sad, and most of us even think that we are useless or the god is not fair. But now we should realize that failure is not as frightening or terrible as we thought before, (插入and) it is just a small stone we meet when we are on our way to success. As is known to all, many world-famous people have experienced failure. But do you know what did they think and what did they do when they failed? Now, let me give you a (an) example.Bill Gates, one of the richest people in the whole world, has his own viewpoint about failure and success. When Bill Gates was young, he was very interested in computers. But at that time, computers were very large machines, so he had a lot of difficulties when he studied these huge things. Although he spared no effort to do the research, he failed many times. He felt very sad, however, he found himself lucky. Because he found out the mistakes he had made from the failure. After that, he and his friends tried their best to make experiments, collect figures and study even harder. At last, he made his own software and program. He made the computer easier for people to use. He succeeded in making contributions to the development of his society and the whole world. And now, it is Bill Gates who runs one of the most famous and largest companies in the whole world-Microsoft.From what has been said above, we can see what should we do when we experience fail (failure). First of all, we should realize that the fail (failure) is of great value. We must find out the reasons for our failure. And then, we should get ready to begin our long journey again and try our best to make our dreams come true. Besides this, we may grow up after the failure. That is just the most important. Only in this way, will we make ourselves successful.Generally speaking, the most important point is not the fact thatyou have failed but what should we do when we fail. If you are sad all the time, you can’t succeed at all. So, study harder and spare noeffort to realize your dream. On our way to success, we should remember:” We are the best!” And we should believe we are able to reach the top we want. If so, we will get the real success.Failure and Success姓名王阳阳山东省潍坊市第七中学学校高二、二部十班级准考证号 24 As is known to us, in our daily life, We often meet failure and success. Facing with (去掉) this, what should we do? As far as I am concerned, we should have an (a) usual mind. Facing with (去掉) success, we should have confidence; facing with (去掉) failure, we should know the shortage and then improve ourselves. When facing (faced) with success, we should be happy and confident. After all, we can do this well and we should have the reason that we should do everything well if we put our heart into it. At the same time, we should have a next aim that we should struggle for. Only in this way can we do better on everything. On the opposite, what should we do if we fail? We should not be sad and unconfident. As the famous going says going (sating goes) :”Failure is not frightened (frightening), (插入and) whatfrighten (counts) is we don’t know how we can do to face it. “ We must know that when we fail, it is high time that we should takemeasures to correct the mistakens (mistakes). A successful people (man) must be a people (man) who is good at correcting shortages. As it is stated at the beginning, we can be sure that most people have experienced failure and success. We know that in our long life in the future, we may meet anything. Certainly, among them something may make you satisfied or not. But, we must know that if we realize our aim that we long for, we are successful. If not, we have to do better to do well and then be successful. When all the factors are taken into account, we can reasonably come to the conclusion that failure and success are both what to make us do everything better. To sum up, we should have an (a) usual mind to face up to thefailure and success. Only by this means can we improve ourselves.Failure and Success姓名唐艺丹山东省济南市外国语学校高一?9班级准考证号 288Being successful can bring us much happiness. But we are always sad if we fail. We look for success everywhere, though failure is waitingfor us in the way. I think it is necessary for people to experience failure. It is known that Lincoln, the president of america (America), was from a fairly poor family. This father, who was a farmer, couldn’t give him much money. So it was very difficult for him to be an official. But twenty years passed, he finally became a big potato in America. Peoplewas (were) encouraged by his speeches and his spirit would live on forever. These (There) won’t be a beautiful rainbow unless it rains. We are always eager for success and become afraid of failing. If we treat failure as a kind of treasure, life will become easier and happier. Helen Keller, an American girl, was stricken with a fever and became both blind and deaf when she was a little child. From then on, she always failed to communicate with others and failed to express her own feelings. Luckily, she would never give up studying. There can be miracles if one works harder than anybody else. Few years later, Helen managed to write books to encourage people. Nowadays, everyone knowsthat there is a blind girl whose dreams were realized through her hard work. When you fail, think of Lincoln the president and Helen the blind girl. They are always there to guide you, and so are many other people who experience much failure before success.Failure and Success姓名邓甡吉林省长春市长春外国语学校学校高二?10班级准考证号 55I think failure and success are just like (插入 on/off of ) thelight in the refrigerator.Every house has one, but nobody really know (knows) what either of them will do when the door is shut. May be we can benifit (benefit) from it, may be we’ll fall in full rout.We live in such an affluent society. Every soul has experienced alot even though we are still young (18 years on around), but we really grow with failure and success. And actually, we have learnt to be mature from them. And I have three opinions on this topic. The firstcoming opinion is the every one have (has) experienced both of them. In everyone’s life, they will meet a lot of challen ges and opptunities (opportunities). Sometimes we succeed, but most of the time we must face to (去掉) the failure. When we succeed, we’ll cherish the apprieaite (admiration) from others, but what shall we do when we fail. Give up or to be more confident? That is the deciecive (decisive) difference between the successful man and the common people. So we should and must be optimistic when we are (去掉) fail and not to be too proud whenwe succeed. Helen Keller once said, “destiny (Desting) never close a door w ithout opening another. “ Yes, destiny is really fair to every people. And as you know, there is an ancient story about an old man who lost his horse. May be the story is not true, but we must learn thespirit of him (in it).The second opinion is that I think we can benefit both from failure and success. Obviously we’ll become quit (quite) happy when we succeed, but from my point of view we can benefit evenmore from the (去掉) failure. Once a successful student in the entrance exam to university just told us that, as an examination, if you got a full mark, the exam is no use to you. It is a waste of time. Maybe there is some limits (limitation) in his opinion, but to some extend, it is true. So when we fail, we must go over the works and strengths in the process, and to be more confident, energetic and innovetive (innovative) in the next pursue (pursuit). Just like the sixteenth president of the U. S. A. Abraham Lincoln said: “Remember when life’s path is steep, to keep you mind even. “And the last but the most important opinion is just a famous saying from the French poet La Foritain (Voltaire): No flowers road leads to success. “ So I want to say to all my company that don’t be too sad and exhaused (exhausted) when you fail. Try to hear from it (failure), and fitfor it (fight for success).Failure and Success姓名张一凡辽宁省抚顺市二中(北校) 学校高(二)1班级准考证号 137 Most people have experienced failure and success. It’s tens of thousands (插入times) offailure and success that make up our lives. As is known to all, failure is the mother of success. Obviously, this sentence stresses the importance of failure. We should value failure. For one thing, lesson and experience can’t belong to us without failure. Failure paves the way for success. A large number of scientific inventions were made by those who experienced more trials and errors. Failure makes them appear and contribute to our society. For another thing, a colorful life needs to be decorated by failures. It。

湖南省高中生杯创新英语作文大赛获奖作品

湖南省高中生杯创新英语作文大赛获奖作品

全文分为作者个人简介和正文两个部分:作者个人简介:Hello everyone, I am an author dedicated to creating and sharing high-quality document templates. In this era of information overload, accurate and efficient communication has become especially important. I firmly believe that good communication can build bridges between people, playing an indispensable role in academia, career, and daily life. Therefore, I decided to invest my knowledge and skills into creating valuable documents to help people find inspiration and direction when needed.正文:湖南省高中生杯创新英语作文大赛获奖作品全文共3篇示例,供读者参考篇1Title: Redefining Success: Embracing the Unconventional PathAs I stand at the crossroads of my academic journey, poised to make pivotal decisions about my future, I find myselfquestioning the conventional notions of success that have been ingrained in me since childhood. The relentless pursuit of academic excellence, the pressure to conform to societal expectations, and the constant need for validation through awards and accolades – these are the narratives that have been woven into the fabric of our educational system. However, as I reflect upon the experiences that have truly shaped my growth, I realize that the most profound lessons have emerged from the road less traveled, the unconventional paths that challenged me to redefine my understanding of what it means to be successful.Growing up, I was taught that success was inextricably linked to academic prowess, measured by a narrow set of metrics that valued test scores and grades above all else. The pursuit of this elusive ideal consumed my every waking moment, fueling a relentless drive to outperform my peers and secure a coveted spot at a prestigious university.Yet, as I immersed myself in this competitive environment, I couldn't help but question the true essence of success. Was it merely a matter of accumulating accolades and achievements, or was there a deeper, more meaningful pursuit that lay beyond the confines of textbooks and exam halls? It was during my involvement in a local community service initiative that I first glimpsed the answer. Working alongside a team of dedicated volunteers, I witnessed firsthand the transformative power of compassion and selflessness. As we coordinated efforts to support underprivileged families, I realized that true success is not measured by the trophies adorning our shelves, but by the positive impact we have on the lives of others. This revelation sparked a profound shift in my perspective, challenging me to reevaluate the conventional markers of achievement. I began to see success not as a linear path to be followed, but as a multifaceted journey, one that embraced diverse experiences and unconventional paths. One such path led me to explore my passion for creative writing, a pursuit that had long been overshadowed by the demands of my academic commitments. As I poured my thoughts and emotions onto the page, I discovered a newfound sense of fulfillment and self-expression that transcended the confines of grades and test scores.Through this creative outlet, I learned that success is not solely defined by external validation but by the ability to cultivate a deep sense of purpose and personal growth. It is the courageto embrace one's unique talents and passions, even if they deviate from the well-trodden paths laid out before us.Another unconventional path that broadened my horizons was my exploration of entrepreneurship. Inspired by the ingenuity of local small business owners, I embarked on a journey to develop my own venture, a sustainable fashion line that championed ethical production practices and environmental consciousness. This endeavor taught me invaluable lessons about resilience, adaptability, and the importance of taking calculated risks. Success, I realized, is not solely about reaching a predetermined destination, but about embracing the challenges and setbacks that inevitably arise along the way, using them as opportunities for growth and self-discovery.As I stand on the precipice of adulthood, ready to embark on the next chapter of my life, I carry with me a newfound perspective on success. It is a multifaceted concept that cannot be confined to a singular definition or a narrow set of metrics. True success is the culmination of diverse experiences, unconventional paths, and a unwavering commitment to personal growth and positive impact. It is the courage to challenge societal norms and forge one's own path, even when it diverges from the well-trodden trails that have been laid out before us. It is the willingness to embrace failure as a stepping stone to growth, and to find fulfillment in the journey itself, rather than solely in the destination. As I look ahead, I am emboldened by the knowledge that success is not a finite goal to be attained, but a continuous process of self-discovery, growth, and impact. It is a lifelong pursuit that transcends the boundaries of academia and conventional markers of achievement, inviting us to embrace the unconventional, to blaze new trails, and to redefine what it means to live a truly fulfilling and meaningful life.篇2A Generation's Calling: Innovating for a Sustainable FutureAs I stand at the crossroads of my youth and the great expanse of adulthood before me, I can't help but feel a profound sense of responsibility weighing upon my shoulders. Our generation has inherited a world teetering on the edge of environmental catastrophe, a delicate balance disturbed by centuries of human excess and disregard for the natural systems that sustain us.It's a sobering reality, one that can instill a sense of helplessness and despair. Yet, within the depths of this crisis, I find a profound opportunity – a chance to redefine our relationship with the planet and chart a new course towards a sustainable future. We are the innovators, the dreamers, the ones who will breathe life into solutions that can heal the wounds inflicted upon our home.Innovation has always been the driving force behind human progress, the catalyst that propels us towards new frontiers of understanding and possibility. From the first spark of fire that illuminated our ancestors' nights to the pioneering spirits that took us to the stars, our species has consistently defied the boundaries of what was once deemed impossible. Now, as we stand at the precipice of ecological ruin, innovation must become our beacon of hope, guiding us towards a harmonious coexistence with the natural world. It is a responsibility that falls squarely upon our generation, a call to action that we must answer with unwavering determination and relentless creativity.Sustainability is not a buzzword or a passing trend; it is a fundamental shift in our collective mindset, a paradigm that recognizes the intrinsic value of preserving our planet'sresources for generations to come. It is a philosophy that permeates every aspect of our lives, from the food we consume to the energy that powers our homes and cities. As students, we have the unique opportunity to shape the future through our academic pursuits and extracurricular endeavors. Whether it's developing innovative technologies that harness renewable energy sources, designing sustainable urban planning models, or pioneering breakthroughs in eco-friendly agriculture, our contributions have the potential to resonate across generations.Yet, true innovation extends far beyond the realms of science and technology. It encompasses a fundamental shift in our collective consciousness, a recognition that our actions, no matter how small, can ripple outwards and create lasting change.Perhaps the greatest innovation we can foster lies within ourselves – a deep-rooted understanding of our interconnectedness with the natural world and a willingness to adapt our lifestyles to minimize our environmental footprint. It is a journey of self-discovery, one that challenges us to question the status quo and embrace a more mindful, sustainable existence. In this quest for a sustainable future, we must not forget the power of community and collaboration. Just as a single drop of water can ripple across an entire pond, our individual efforts can amplify and coalesce into a powerful force for change when we unite our voices and work in unison.Imagine a world where schools become epicenters of sustainability, where students engage in hands-on projects that cultivate an appreciation for the natural world and foster innovative solutions to environmental challenges. Envision communities coming together to implement sustainable practices, from urban gardening initiatives to energy-efficient infrastructure projects. This is the future we must strive towards, a future where innovation and sustainability are woven into the very fabric of our societies, where our actions are guided by a profound respect for the planet that sustains us.As I stand here, filled with a sense of purpose and determination, I know that our generation has the power to change the course of history. We are the innovators, the problem-solvers, the ones who will breathe new life into a world that desperately needs our creativity and passion. It is a daunting task, one that will require unwavering dedication and a willingness to challenge the status quo. But if we embrace the mantle of innovation and work together towards a common goal, we can create a future where sustainability is not just a concept, but a way of life – a world in which our children and their children can thrive in harmony with the natural systems that sustain us all.The time for action is now. Let us be the generation that turns the tide, that innovates for a sustainable future, and leaves a lasting legacy of environmental stewardship for generations to come.篇3The Power of WordsAs I pen these words, holding my breath with each stroke across the page, I can't help but be awestruck by the immense power language wields. Words have shaped civilizations, started revolutions, and altered the course of history time and again. Yet, their might extends far beyond the grand narratives we know so well. Words possess an unparalleled capacity to change lives on an individual level, casting spells of emotion upon all who hear or read them.Indeed, I am a living testament to the transformative potency of the written and spoken word. My life's journey has been one of constant reinvention, driven by the magic of language. Words were the fuel that ignited my imagination as a child, transporting me to fantastical realms that stretched far beyond the confines of my rural village. I can still taste the anticipation that would build as my grandfather recited folk tales by the fire's warm glow on cold winter nights. His animated expressions and clever wordplay brought the ancient stories to vivid life before my starry-eyed gaze. Those nights awakened something primal within me—an insatiable curiosity and a yearning for the secrets mere words could unveil. I realized that with mastery of language came power—the power to entertain, educate, and most importantly, forge deep connections that transcend cultural boundaries. From that moment on, I devoured every book and poem I could get my hands on, my young mind awhirl with the kaleidoscope of imagery and emotion expert wordsmiths had encoded in their lexical canvases. As I navigated the tumult of adolescence, language remained my stalwart companion and refuge when all else seemed uncertain. When feelings became too complex for myteenage mind to process, I would escape into journaling, letting the words flow uninhibited as I made sense of the dizzying array of thoughts and emotions that overwhelmed me. There was something almost meditative about watching the ink saturate the paper's thirsty fibers, forming the glyphs that allowed my raw vulnerability to be given form and substance.Writing proved to be more than just an outlet—it was my sword and shield against the cruelties of the world. With words as my arsenal, I could disarm even the most vitriolic bullies and defend my spirit against their harsh taunts and abuse. Time after time, I watched in triumph as articulate rebuttals eroded their bravado, reducing them to stammering fools as they drowned in my rhetorical firefalls. My way with words became the stuff of legend among my peers, earning me a reputation as a young woman to be respected and feared in equal measure.Yet, for all of language's empowering qualities, it was in its ability to nurture human connections that I found its true treasure. As I began sharing my writing on social media during high school, I realized that words had an almighty power to cultivate understanding and bridge even the most cavernous divides. With each heartfelt poem, think piece, and creative storyI posted, I formed bonds with individuals from all walks of life whom I would have never otherwise encountered.I remember one commenter, a teenage Syrian refugee, who was moved to tears by a fictional vignette I had written about the harrowing journey he and millions like him had endured. Though separated by oceans and cultures, he felt seen and understood in a way he never could have imagined—all through the power of empathetic storytelling. Our ensuing discourse shed light on the complexities of the refugee crisis in a way that transcended the reactionary rhetoric surrounding the issue. For perhaps the first time, we viewed one another as human beings united by our hopes, fears, and struggles, rather than through the lenses of nationality or religion. From that experience, I determined that words could be the universal love language to unite a fractured world. No longer would I be content with them being mere instruments of intellectual exercise or creative expression. Instead, I would dedicate myself to studying the art and science of communication, incubating an ambition to pursue a career facilitating cross-cultural dialogue. I sought to become an ambassador of mutual understanding between East and West, proliferating a renaissance of linguistic unity to dissolve the mental and spiritual borders separating humankind. With this mission embraced, I immersed myself in the study of foreign languages, devouring lexicons and grammar rules with a zeal that both awed and unsettled my teachers. Where my peers saw drudgery and tedium, I found liberation and keys to unlocking entire worlds of worldviews and cultural paradigms vastly different from my own. Each new tongue was a fresh opportunity to reconstruct my perspective and relate to people in authentic, substantive ways.My pursuits opened eyes, hearts, and minds—including my own. I formed friendships and collaborative partnerships with students from every inhabited continent. We embarked on ambitious multilingual writing projects aimed at capturing the true depth of our distinct cultures, brushing aside stereotypes and superficial tropes. Each contributor's sections were masterworks in their own right, but it was the synthesis of those disparate voices into holistic narratives where the real magic occurred. Conventions of grammar and style blended with beautiful discordance, uniting into coherent expressions of our shared human experience.Looking backon those prolific years now, I see they were a profound journey of introspection and self-discovery through the prism of language. With every linguistic acquisition and cross-cultural connection, I became exponentially moreself-aware and insightful about my own identities, beliefs, and unconscious biases. The more I opened myself to new modes of communication and thought, the smaller the world became. I began to see the artificial and subjective nature of the borders, stereotypes, and ideological constructs humanity has erected over the centuries. At my core, I am no different than any other human being on this pale blue dot—we all have the same fundamental needs, hopes, and fears regardless of latitude or linguistic heritage.Though my linguistic skills are still humbly limited to just a few of this world's 7,000+ living languages, I find solace in knowing that words serve as the great connectors and uniters across all of humanity. Behind each unfamiliar tongue, there are poets pouring their hearts into lyrical narratives about the beauty and pain of existence. There are scientists proliferating theories and ideas to push the boundaries of knowledge in service of the human condition. There are artists encoding thetriumphs and tribulations of the lived experience into works of creative genius.Every language holds undiscovered worlds, fundamentally unified by the shared tools of communication humankind wields, yet distinct in their particulars and cultural essences. Each discourse, journals, and texts adds another piece to the grand mosaic of the human story...a story each of us has the power to influence and recraft with the words we choose. As I look ahead, I carry on my journey armed with an endless sense of awe and reverence for the power of language. These tools have raised and demolished civilizations and kingdoms, yet remain the most democratic of forces. With intentionality and skill, anyone can harness their might to spark change, forge understanding, and re-envision a better world. My path forward will continue interweaving words and worlds, cultivating intercultural literacy on a global scale. Perhaps, one day, I will help catalyze a great flourishing of mutual understanding and collective consciousness rooted in our shared human narratives. Perhaps I too will be among the pantheon of orators, scribes, and poets whose carefully chosen words ripple across the centuries and shape the human odyssey. One thing is certain: I will never cease being in awe of the privilege and duty of being a voice, a storyteller, and aworld-bridger through the mighty force of words. These are the tools that constructed reality itself, and I intend to masterfully wield them in service of a more unified, enlightened, and luminous future for all.。

As China continues to open up to the world, more and more multinational companies are setting up branches or offices in China. These companies often require employees who are proficient in English to communicate with their international counterparts. By mastering English, Chinese students can increase their chances of securing high-paying jobs and career advancement opportunities. Moreover, English education helps broaden students' horizons and exposes them to different cultures. English is not just a language, but also a gateway to understanding different cultures, traditions, and ways of thinking. By learning English, students can access a vast amount of information from English-speaking countries, including literature, history, and scientific advancements. This exposure to diverse perspectives and ideas can greatly enrich their intellectual development and foster a global mindset.Furthermore, English education promotes international communication and cooperation. In today's interconnected world, effective communication is crucial for building relationships and resolving conflicts. English serves as a common language for people from different countries to communicate and collaborate. By mastering English, Chinese students can actively participate in international conferences, exchange programs, and research collaborations, thus contributing to global innovation and progress.Additionally, English education fosters critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Learning a second language requires students to think analytically and make connectionsbetween different concepts. This cognitive process not only improves their language proficiency but also enhances their overall cognitive abilities. Research has shown that bilingual individuals have better problem-solving skills and cognitive flexibility. Therefore, English education not only benefits students' language abilities but also enhances their overall cognitive development. In conclusion, English education in China plays a crucial role in preparing students for the globalized world. It enhances their competitiveness in the job market, broadens their horizons, promotes international communication and cooperation, and fosters critical thinking skills. As China continues to integrate into the global community, it is essential for students to have a strong foundation in English. By investing in English education, China can ensure that its future generations are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to thrive in the globalized era.。

;四川省平昌中学指导教师:吴昌荣The Benefits of Watching American TV DramasZhao JunzhouNowadays, with more and more accesses to America, watching American TV dramas has gradually become a prevailing trend among the youths, who are high on them. However, various people hold distinctive views on it. Some people believe that watching American TV dramas can foster their sense of language, while others maintain that the American TV dramas may play a negative role in young people's lives and study on account of different cultural backgrounds. To be frank, I sustain that watching American TV dramas can bring a variety of advantages to us. There are some justifications listed to support my argument. To begin with, it is indisputable that watching American TV dramas can enhance the youths’ sense of language. For one thing, it can help them to practice oral English and listening competence as well as learn some idioms. The reason is that it is widely considered to be one of the most effective approaches to make the youths be exposed to authentic commutative context. For another, watching American TV dramas is conducive to them to consolidate what they have acquired in classroom. In addition, American TV dramas can broaden the youths’ horizon. They can avail themselves of this opportunity to have a good command of American culture, customs, lifestyles, science and so on. Furthermore, watching American TV dramas can cultivate the youths’interest in English. Appreciating the fantastic and interesting stories, they can acquire some fixed expressions, obtain pleasure and experience exotic taste. Therefore, many English teachers adopt American TV dramas to trigger students’study motivation. Last but not least, they can attain American self-made spirit. Considering that they bring a variety of benefits to the youths, they are extremely high on American TV dramas. However, people’s views on them vary from person to person, which causes heated debate on it. Some people believe that watching American TV dramas can foster their language sense while other people maintain the American TV dramas may play a negative role in young people's lives and study on account of different cultural background and social system. As for me, I prefer the former view rather than the latter. There are some justifications listed to support my argument.\To begin with, it is generally accepted that watching American TV dramas can promote the youth s’English proficiency. Firstly, appreciating the fantastic and amusing stories, they can enhance their listening competence and oral English by means of imitating the native speakers’pronunciation and intonation. Secondly, they can improve their overall range of vocabulary and help them with their sentence structures, and ultimately, they have to make the English their own. In addition, definitely, it can foster the youths’ pragmatic ability. In terms of Chinese English learners, they don’t know to appropriately use English in special context. The learner will have to get some genuine interaction going in order to use the language he has learnt. The youths can be exposed to genuine context so that they enhance their commutative ability via watching American TV dramas. Eventually, watching American TV dramas are generally considered to be one effective means to broaden the youths’horizon. On the one hand, watching American TV dramas can make the youths have acquaintance with American culture, including lifestyles, customs, economy and science and technology and so on. On the other hand, it can help them have access to American spirit, covering self-made spirit, adventurous spirit and innovative spirit. In short, we can naturally draw a reasonable and solid conclusion that watching American TV dramas can promote the youth s’English proficiency; meanwhile it can foster the youths’communicative competency and broadentheir horizon. By all means, I uphold the youths to be exposed to American TV dramas.&The Benefits of Watching American TV DramasYang Xing,With the development Chinese and western cultural communication and confluence, more and more American films and TV dramas swarm into Chinese film and TV market. Nowadays, there is a hot trend for the youths to watch American TV dramas, which causes an heated debate whether watching American TV dramas can bring benefits to the youths or not. However, people’s views on them vary from person to person. Some people hold that watching American TV dramas can enhance the youths’language sense while others hold the opposite views. As for me, I maintain that watching American TV dramas can promote the youths’language sense. In the following part, I will list some solid evidences to specify my argument. To begin with, watching American TV dramas plays an irreplaceable role in enhancing the youths’ language sense. Enjoying American TV dramas, they can listen to the dialogues with double subtitles made by actors, which can practice their oral English and listening. At the same time, they can acquire some authentic expressions and improve their overall a range of vocabulary and help you master sentence structures. What’s more, there is on denying that the youths can have acquaintance with western culture by means of watching American TV dramas. The reason is that American TV dramas reflect and embody western history, numerous etiquettes, and fashion and so on. Therefore, watching American TV dramas enriches their cultural knowledge. It is a fact that learning related culture knowledge can promote language acquisition. Ultimately, American TV dramas demonstrate some American brilliant spirit. The youths can have a good knowledge of American spirit to explore, self-made spirit, perseverance spirit and so on via appreciating American TV dramas, whichare conducive to the yo uths’ growth.Taking all these factors into consideration, we can naturally draw a reasonable conclusion that watching American TV dramas can enhance the youths’language and enrich their cultural knowledge; meanwhile, it can foster their some marvelous qualities. 四川省平昌中学指导教师:吴昌荣The Benefits of Watching American TV DramasZhao JunzhouNowadays, with more and more accesses to America, watching American TV dramas has gradually become a prevailing trend among the youths, who are high on them. Therefore, many English teachers adopt American TV dramas to trigger students’study11111motivation. Last but not least, they can attain American self-made spirit. The youths can learn how to strive to pursue and achieve their dream. To some extent, it can develop their independent personality and persistent and creative spirit. In a nutshell, we can naturally draw a reasonable and solid conclusion that watching American TV dramas not only can promote the youth’s English proficiency and broaden their horizon, but also it fosters their study interest and self-made spirit. Therefore, I strongly and firmly uphold the youth to watch American TV dramas on account their numerous benefits. The Benefits of Watching American TV DramasZhou JingNowadays, the original American TV dramas are so prevailing among the youths in China with the growth of internet TV. Considering that they bring a variety of benefits to the youths, they are extremely high on American TV dramas. However, people’s views on them vary from person to person, which causes heated debate on it. Some people believe that watching American TV dramas can foster their language sense while other people maintain the American TV dramas may play a negative role in young22222people's lives and study on account of different cultural background and social system. As for me, I prefer the former view rather than the latter. There are some justifications listed to support my argument. To begin with, it is generally accepted that watching American TV dramas can promote the youth s’English proficiency. In short, we can naturally draw a reasonable and solid conclusion that watching American TV dramas can promote the youth s’English proficiency; meanwhile it can foster the youths’communicative competency and broaden their horizon. By all means, I uphold the youths to be exposed to American TV dramas.33333The Benefits of Watching American TV DramasYang XingWith the development Chinese and western cultural communication and confluence, more and more American films and TV dramas swarm into Chinese film and TV market. What’s more, there is on denying that the youths can have acquaintance with western44444culture by means of watching American TV dramas. The reason is that American TV dramas reflect and embody western history, numerous etiquettes, and fashion and so on. Therefore, watching American TV dramas enriches their cultural knowledge.
