I. Media

1. List the main sources of information.

the main sources of information contains TV、Internet 、radio、newspaper and books. Internet and TV, as the mainstream of media, play the most import role in information transformation.

2. List the types of books you know.

There are just too many types of books, which can generally be divided into testbooks, fictions, magazines .According to the types. Text books basically tells academics knowledge about everything of all subjects. And fiction is a collection of stories people made up from their lives, while magazines is edited to people of command interest to tell some news or detail about sports ,stars ,politics and so on.

3. Make comparison between reading newspaper and surfing Internet for information. reading newspaper is more healthy to our eyes, and we can take notes or keep it where we are interested in.

surfing Internet for information is more environmentally friendly.

you can surf the Internet for any information you need in a short time without working hard in the library. Besides, it is convenient to get what you want.

2. What qualities are needed to be a good journalist?

Curiosity,critical thinking and a hunger for news. You must be interested in the world around you. You must want to find things out and share your discoveries with your readers or listeners - so you should have a broad range of interests.

Attitude and aptitude are essential for all journalists.

History and languages are important.

Life experience,humanities and social sciences.

Specialist knowledge can be really useful.

While you are hunting for your story, you may drive it away by being too aggressive. Sometimes you may have to approach a story with caution and cunning, until you are sure you have hold of it.

Friendliness

You need to be able to get on well with all sorts of people. You cannot pick and choose who to interview You must be friendly to all, even those people you dislike. You can, of course, be friendly to someone without being their friend. If you are friendly to everyone, you will also be fair with everyone.

Reliability

This is a quality admired in any profession, but is especially valued in journalism where both your employer and your audience rely on you to do your job.

3. What do you think of the relationship between paparazzi and celebrities? paparazzi,or "paps",are photographers who take pictures of famous people when they are not at the center of public attention. and then sell the pictures to the buyer who offers the most money.

most of the time,paparazzi get a bad reputation for following celebrities.but
