Dare 的用法与need 一样,既可以用作情态动词,亦可用作实义动词。
作情态动词+动词原形,主要用于否定句和疑问句。
如:
-I dare not walk alone in the night.
-How dare you speak to me like that?
作实义动词,它有动词的全部变化形式:dare-dares -daring -dared -dared +to do sth.如:
-she doesn’t dare to say anything.
