Nowadays bike­sharing has been very popular in China. Mobike (摩拜单车) is one of the market leaders in the bike­sharing business.
What is Mobike?
Mobike was founded in January, 2015. It is supported by Tencent (腾讯). People in many cities, such as Beijing, Guangzhou, Jinan as well as Shanghai, have a chance of using the app (应用软件). The total number of Mobike app users is larger than that of any other bike­sharing app users.
Who uses Mobike?
According to a survey, 53.23% of the Mobike users are men, while 46.77% are women. 3Mobike is not only popular with young people, but also wins the hearts of the old. It shows that retired men traveled the longest distances (距离) on shared bikes.
Why do people use Mobike?
Chinese people use Mobike for different reasons. Users can rent (租借) a bike at a low price, usually about one yuan an hour. It also offers people a better choice for short journeys in cities, especially when people can't find a bus or the underground to take. What's more, it's helpful in

Do you know Laszlo Biro? Maybe you do not, but you probably use his invention every day, and you may even have (A) it in your hand right now!
Biro (1899-1985) was the inventor of the ballpoint pen. He was born in Budapest, Hungary. In the 1930s, when he worked as a newspaper editor (编辑), he used a fountain pen (B) almost every day. Maciek Czastka was born in Lodz, Poland. He came to China several years ago. So far, he has been working in Chengdu for three years.
“The Belt and Road Initiative (一带一路的倡议) is meaningful, ”he said. “Thanks to it, we are offered more chances.” The most powerful support for Chengdu to thrive (兴盛) along the Belt and Road is the Chengdu­Europe express railway (高速铁路). It provides direct train services between Chengdu and the city of Lodz. Because of the express railway, trains can bring things from China to Europe. At the same time, they can bring back European food, wine, meat and so on. In 2016, a total of 460 trains ran between Chengdu and Europe. The number is expected to grow to 1,000 this year.
Since the Chengdu­Lodz express railway was opened, Chengdu, together with other cities in west China, has developed close trade ties
with the European country. Poland is one of the largest apple producers in Europe. Czastka's company helps farmers in Poland sell their apples to China. More and more European products will be sent to China in the future.
