4. MULTI-SPEED MOTOR – A motor that operates at one or more speeds.

5. AUTOMATICALLY RESET PROTECTOR –
A device that incorporates a bimetal that is calibrated to open the motor circuit upon reaching a certain temperature and automatically closes the circuit once the device has cooled to a lower temperature.

1、定子
单相串励电动机的定子由迭片式铁芯和励磁绕组组成。 为了减少定子的铁芯损耗，定子铁芯一般采用0.5mm厚 的硅钢片叠成。

2、转子
转子铁芯一般也是由0.5mm厚的电枢冲片叠压而成。 槽口一般为半闭口槽。如图2所示。转子铁芯槽内嵌 有电枢绕组。

三. 电容运转电动机
1. 定子由迭片式铁芯和主副绕组组成； 2. 副绕组串联电容后与主绕组并联，再接入电网； 3. 转子通常为斜槽铸铝笼形绕组。

六. 直流永磁电机
DC Permanent Magnet Motor
A single-phase motor with a main winding and one or more short-circuited windings (shaded coils). The motor has no capacitor nor start switch.
