一、常见介词辨析
（1）at, on, in 接时间时的区别：
①at接具体某一时刻。

at noon 在正午时分at the moment 就在这时/那时
at that time 就在那时at 8:14 在8点14分时
②on接具体某一天，如某节日，星期几，几号，几号的早、中、晚时。

on Wednesday 在星期三on your birthday 在你生日那天
on National Day 国庆那天on July 8th在七月八号那天
on the morthing of August 7th八月七号那天早晨
on a cold winter evening 在一个寒冷的冬天的傍晚
③in 接超过一天的时间或泛指的早、中、晚时。

in the morning 在早上in the day time 在白天
in this week 在本周in two months 在两个月内
in May 在五月in the year 2010 在2010年
in winter 在冬天in my life 在我的一生中
（2）for 和since的区别：
①for + 时间段，表示“长达……之久”。

for five days 长达五天之久for a minute 一分钟那么久
②since + 过去一个时间点，表示“自从过去的这个时间点开始起”。

since last year 自从去年起since yesterday 自从昨天起since 5 years ago 自五年前起
（3）on, above, over 指“在……上面”时的区别：
①on表示贴在物体上，与物体表面接触。

如：I put my hat on the table.
②above指在某物体上方，不接触。

如：There is a fan above the bed.
③over 指跨越物体两端。

如：He climbed over the wall and ran to a bridge over the river.
(4) between, among 表示“在……之间”时的区别
①between 指在两者之间。

如：He will come between 9 and 10.
You’ll see a huge tree between the two buildings.
②among 指在三者或三者以上事物之中。

如：
Mr. Becker is among his students. Becker先生在他的学生之中。

Sam was the best among all the boys. 在所有的男孩中，Sam 是最好的。

（5）through, across, past, over 指“从……过”时的区别。

①through: 从……中间穿过。

We went through the gate. 我们从门里穿过。

After two o’clock, we’ll walk through the forest. 两点钟后，我们会走过森林。

②across：从……表面过。

There is no bridge here. We have to swim across the river. 这里没有桥，我们得游过河。

They drove across the mountain. 他们开车翻过那座山。

③past: 从……经过
She smiled while she walked past me. 当她从我身边经过时，她笑了。

④over: 从……上方经过
Every morning, a plane will fly over the school. 每天早上都有一架飞机飞过学校。

（6）in front of 和in the front of 指“在……前面”时的区别：
There is a map in the front of the classroom. 教室前面有一张地图。

（地图在教室里面前方的某个地方，可能是教师前面的墙上或教室前面的某个地方。

There is map in front of the classroom. 教室前面有一张地图。

(地图在骄傲是外面的前方某个地方。

(7)except, besides, except for 表示“除……之外”时的区别：
①except: “除（某人/物）之外”，此人/物被排除在外。

Everbody came on time except him. 除了他，人人都准时到了。

②besides: “除（某人/物）外，还有……”，此人/物被包含当中。

Everybody came on time besides him. 除了他之外，别的人也都按时到了。

（不仅他，人人都按时到了）
③except for：“除了（某人/物）外，其他的都……”，此人/物不属于其他事物的同一类别。

He did quite well in his English exam except for some spelling mistakes. 除了一些拼写错误外，他的英语考试考得相当好。

（8）by, in, with 表示“用……”时的区别：
①by表示“用某种方式，通过某种途径”。

We’ll go there by air. 我们将坐飞机到那里。

She makes money by writing. 她以写作为生。

②in表示“用某种语言，用某种材料”。

Can you talk in Chinese? 你能说中文吗？Can you write me in pen? 你能用钢笔给我写信吗？
③with 表示“用具体的某工具、某事物”。

Chinese eat with chopsticks. 中国人用筷子吃东西。

Everybody should write with a pen. 人人都需用钢笔写。
