Opinion of the State Council Concerning Accelerating the Development of the Service Sector issued in March2007 indicated clearly that the service industry is an integral part of national economy and an important indicator for measuring the economic level of a modern society. China service sector is going to enter a stage of rapid development. At present, to push forward the development of modern economy hotel sector is not only an important strategy for increasing efficient accommodation supply, optimizing hotel industry structure and promoting the industry's service quality and global competition advantages, but also functioning as the basis for full construction of a better-off and a harmonious socialist society and for the settlement of the livelihood of the people. To implement industry survey and to collect, analyze and issue scientific data to operators, investors and researchers are not only the obligation of related governments and industry organizations, but also an effective way to understand the demands of enterprises and to submit effective policies advices. Therefore, we would like to thank all those brands which participated in the survey actively.
