3. 数词+名词单数(+形容词)作定语 a 21-year-old girl; an 8-day holiday

(4). 非整十的多位数,将个位数变成序数词即可:twenty-first(第21),thirty-sixth(第36),ninety-ninth(第99),three hundred and sixty-fifth(第365)等。

My room is on the second floor and his on the third.

He was third in the exam.

We’ll have to do it a second time.

50% fifty percent 0.12% zero point one two percent

表示倍数①两倍用twice,表示三倍或三倍以上用:数+times 三倍three times ②A 正好是B的多少倍——A+倍数+as+adj+as +B ;A比B大(长,高,宽)多少倍:A+倍数+比较级+than.+B 我的房子是你的两倍大。

3.时刻表达法。(1)可以直接用基数词表示时刻,如:5:00 用英语表示为:five o’clock;
