Nowadays,as more and more people pay attention to natural environment,a hot-button these days is what is the most vital method to protect the natural environment.Although there are many different ideas,I subscribe to the belief that preserving natural places and natural wildlife species is the most important action to protect the environment.
Firstly,the natural places and wildlife are the basics of ecosystem.It’s clear that,the natural places play a very important role in keeping the balance of the ecosystem such as forests act at the lung of the Earth.Also,the natural wildlife species have the ability to keep the activity in the areas that many animals live in.So,protecting the natural places and natural wildlife species can maintain the basics of ecosystem.For instance,my hometown used to a beautiful village with a clear river.However,since more and more people raised ducks in the river to sell,the river was polluted and gave off a bad smell,and the fish and shrimp in the water also died.As result,the environment of our village became worse.However,last year,local government forbade people to raise ducks any more,and spent money to preserve the river and recover the living condition of the fish and other animals.Now,the environment of my hometown has been restored,it becomes a peaceful place again.My hometown is just a microcosm.This means that preserve and recover the natural places such as the river in my hometown and natural species such as the fish can really help to protect the natural environment on our world.
It’s no doubts that founding research on new energy resources can help protect the natural environment.Because the burning of fossil fuels emits a lot of harmful gas such as carbon dioxide which may cause the green effect.As we all know,the disappear of the glacier is accelerating,this is the result of the green effect which is caused by the fossil fuels.The discovery of new energy sources can replace fossil fuels and thus protect the environment.However,the new energy resources may also have effect on the environment.For instance,the wind power,when wind pass though the windmills which are used to collect the energy of the wind,the dynamic of the wind will be reduced,in this case,the wind cannot reach the places where the wind should arrive. Then the environment in these areas may be changed such as the reduction of vegetation.This example shows that the new energy resources may not only protect the environment,but also be harmful to the environment.
Admittedly,passing and enforcing the laws also can help protect the natural.For example,one of a big city in China,Chongqing used to be a city with many heavy industries which polluted air condition badly.However,since the local government passed and enforced the laws to reduce
the pollution,the air condition of the city was refined,and the living environment of the citizen became much better than before.However,the pollution of the industries is only a part of a city. The garbage the of life also pollute the environment of the natural environment.For instance, due to improper disposal of garbage in the upper reaches of the Yangtze River,garbage in some areas in the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River accumulated,causing serious damage to the ecosystem.So,the laws only aimed to company and industries are incomplete,the confines of citizen is also important.
In conclusion,the most important method to protect the natural environment is preserving the natural places and natural species.I feel this way because natural places and species are the basics of the environment,and because the new energy resources may also effect the environment,and the laws which aimed to companies and industries are not complete.。
