Reading A (两课时)
一、定位:
input-based,训练各种听与说的语言微技能,并给予阅读学习策略的指导,读为主。
二、教学设计:
1. Leading-in
①Set some situ ations which are similar to the text’s context. Then ask Ss to predict according to the picture in the text.
②Teach some key words through the situation.
③Get the Ss to talk about the picture and the boy
2. Reading
①1st reading: Ss read the poem quickly then answer the questions of A1.
②2nd reading: Get the Ss to read the poem with the tape, and ask the Ss to pay attention to the pronunciation and fluency.
3. Practice
①Ss read the poem by themselves, then choose some of them to read out with feelings
②Then ask the Ss to talk about the main feeling of the poem
4. more practice
①Ask the Ss to find out the useful expression and sentences in the text.
②Ss do the oral practice with the help of these expression and sentence pattern.
5.Summary
①Ask the Ss to retell the main idea of the poem
②Then ask them to finish A3
6. Homework.
①Recite the poem
②Ask them to find two English poems on the Internet and make a ppt to show them in the next class.
Reading B(两课时)
一、定位:
input-based,训练各种听与说的语言微技能,并给予阅读学习策略的指导,读为主。
二、教学环节设计:
1. Revision
Ask the Ss to show their homework on the screen, then let the Ss choose the best one.
2. leading in
①Ask Ss to look at a picture, then ask them to talk about what happened in the picture
②Then ask their feelings about the poem and finish B1
3. Reading
①1st reading: ask the Ss to read the poem again and check the answers of B1
②2nd reading: read the questions below the poem first, then ask them to read the poem carefully, and write down the answers. (Ss can work in pairs)
③3rd reading: read after the tape and read the poem happily like a poet.
4. Summary
Get the Ss to talk about the main idea of the poem
5. Homework.
Read the poem and try to compare the two poems
Listening part A & B(两课时)
一、定位:
input-based,训练各种读与说的语言微技能,并给予听的学习策略的指导。
二、教学环节设计:
1. Pre-listening:
Show some pictures of typhoon and get the Ss to talk about something relative with typhoon. And teach them the new words of the lesson.
2. listening A
1st listening: make a model before listening to the passage. Then tell the Ss how to correct mistakes in a poem, then ask the Ss to do the first listening
2nd listening:
①tell the Ss some listening skills:
A.read through the text before listening
B.pay attention to the word at the end of each verse.
C.Ask them to learn something about the rhymes of the poem
②read the poem after the tape and pay attention to the wrong word
3. listening B
Before listening, show some pictures of many feelings and get the Ss to guess the meaning of them.
Then Ss listen to the tape and write down the correct number in each box.
4. Summary
Give Ss some time and get them to summarize the skills of listening in the poem
5.Homework.
Book B Unit 5 listening exercise
Language(两课时)
一、定位:
input-based,训练各种读与说的语言微技在语言知识中的运用
二、教学环节设计:
1.Revision
Check their homework of listening
2.Grammar learning A
①Show two pictures to the Ss, then ask the Ss to tell the difference between who and whose. If they don’t know the differences, then show more examples of who and whose.
②Ask the Ss to look at the picture on P71 carefully, then ask them to say something about the picture.
3. Practice
Ask them to work in pairs to get the information from each other.
4. Grammar learning B
①Show some sentences with possessive pronouns
②Ask them to do the exercise on P72
5. Grammar learning C
①show the picture on P72, then ask the Ss to pay attention to one and ones. Get them guess the meaning of one and ones.
②Ask them to work in pairs, and look at the pictures and make their dialogues like the model below:
S1: I’d like some sausages, please.
S2: Chicken or pork?
S1: Pork ones, please.
③Ask some pairs to act out.
6.Homework.

Speaking(一课时)
一、定位:
practice-based,启发学生, 归纳语言知识,开展各层次、专项、强化性和综合性练习,多样技能结合训练, 说为主.
二、教学环节设计:
1.presentation
Teach the Ss six sounds on P73 and get the Ss to pay attention to the letters in
each word
2.Practice A1
Listening to the words and circle the word while listening to the tape. Then check the answers.
3. Practice A2
①Listen to the conversation and circle all the above sounds.
②check the answers
③then practice the dialogue in pairs and ask some pairs to show up.
4. Speak up
①Ask the Ss to work in groups and list four qualities of good friends and good parents.
②Ask them to write them down while they are talking
5. Summary
How to talk about our friends and parents
6. Homework.
Write a small passage about a friend and the parents, 60-70 words
More Practice(两课时)
一、定位:
output-based,结合听与读,训练多项说与写的语言微技能,并指导说写学习策略,写为主.
二、教学环节设计:
1. Pre-writing
Get the Ss to read through the poem Never a Dull Moment again
2. Practice
Ask them to finish the poem with the steps 1-4 on P75
3. Practice
Ss write out their poems and read them to the class. Then the other Ss guess who A,B,C and D are.
4. Homework
Finish the homework in Book Unit 5 writing
Writing(两课时)
1. Pre-listening
Get the Ss to talk about the three pictures first and guess the main meaning of each poem
2. Listening A1
Get the Ss to listen to the tape and draw circles around the rhyming words
3. Practice
①Ask the Ss to follow the tape to read out the three passages of A1. And ask
them to pay attention to the last words of each line in the first poem
②Get the Ss to discuss the main idea of each passage
③Ask them to read out the poems with motions
4. Practice
Ss work in groups and discuss the poems in A1. Then complete their conversation using words and phrases from the poems
5. Practice
Ss use a dictionary to find some good words to use for thymes.
Instruction:
First, think of a lot of word that rhyme
Next, choose two rhyming words to go at the end of the lines
Then, try to write the other words
Finally, discuss your poem with your partners
3. Homework
Ss finish their poem and write them in a clean paper and hand in next day.

Try to rewrite “Some Days” in a cheerful way。
