week 2.visiting the old people's home

Week 2

1.上周日是一个值得纪念的一天，因为我们班的同学们进行了一次有意义的活动。

Last Sunday was memorable because our class had a meaningful experience on that day.

2.一大早，我们班的同学就骑车去了四季青敬老院。一路上欢声笑语。

Early in the morning, we bicycled to SJQ Old People’s Home, talking and laughing all the way.

3.我们一到，就开始了志愿活动。

Upon arrival, we began to do our volunteer work immediately.

4.有的人在扫除，有的人用美丽的绘画图片装饰房间。

Some were doing some cleaning. Others are putting up some pictures to decorate the room.

5.很快，老人们的房间就变得又干净整齐又漂亮了。

Soon the room turned out to be tidy and pretty.

6.然后，我们又为老人们表演了精彩的节目，最后还给他们赠送了礼物。

Then, we played the wonderful performances for the old and gave away some presents.

7.看到老人们脸上幸福的表情，我们的心里都有一种满足感和成就感。

Seeing the look of happiness on their faces, we all had a sense of satisfaction and achievement.

8.在离开前，我们一起拍了照片来记录这次温馨而又有感人的时刻。

Before leaving, we took some photos to record warm and moving moment.

9.老人们非常感谢我们能去看望他们，并希望能够再见到我们。

The old thanked us for visiting them, hoping to see us again.

10.我们很累，但我们很高兴地回家了。这次社会实践活动给我留下了深刻的印象。

Tired but happy, we went back home. This social practice left me a deep impression.
