Addiction to Smart Phones

The picture depicts a man spending a lot of time on his smart phone every day. Do you feel distracted if your smart phone is not with you? When there’s no WiFi or signal for your smart phone, will you get irritated? If your answer is yes, then you’ve got addiction to smart phones.

Smartphone addiction is a phenomenon that causes a lot of troubles to people. In the first place, it may cause some problems to your health, such as eye fatigue, physical deterioration, and even sleeplessness. A friend of mine suffers from a serious spine disease due to her addiction to smart phones during pregnancy. Secondly, if you keep playing with your phone when you are with your friends or family, you will spend less time talking to them. In fact, they need and should be cared for. Lastly, an excessive reliance on smart phones may weaken your interpersonal skills. When you cannot find a place, you consult your GPS instead of consulting local people. You spend more time playing mobile games than playing real games with real people. As time passes, it’s possible that you may have difficulty in communicating with people. Therefore, isn’t it better to get rid of smart phone addiction?

The sharing economy means that people sell or purchase the unoccupied resources via online transaction. Being a new trend, the sharing economy is playing a more and more crucial part in our modern life.

There is no doubt that a large number of people benefit a lot from the sharing economy. Above all, it contributes to making good use of the resources. People who own available stuff and don’t use it for the moment can sell or re nt it to others who need it. Thus, it’s beneficial for both of them in that not only the seller can make money but the purchaser can save money. Moreover, it can ensure that things can be used as many times as possible instead of being abandoned. In addition, it helps to build up trust between each other.

However, the rise of the sharing economy leads to the difficulty in management. For instance, the sharing bikes bring convenience for people, but people place the bikes at random and even occupy the sidewalk. Therefore, how to manage the sharing things is worth considering.
