A good preparation is the half of success
• What do you want people who see the demonstration to learn? aim, content • What do your audience expect to know from your speech? clear point of view, answer • Will they be attracted by your speech and ppt? keyword, topic sentence, picture
• Each group will be asked two relevant questions.
• Speaking without taking anything is preferred.
• Use gestures, facial expressions.
• The presentation accounts for 20% in the total marks.
• Back up your main opinions with specifics • Explain the reasons for all of your critique, and provide examples • Be interesting. Make the review engaging, using metaphors, analogy, specific adjectives • Be honest in your appraisal. A comedy should be funny, a horror movie should be scary, etc.; judge the movie against those standards, not against any pre-existing opinions you may have. It will make the review more valuable.
