五年级英语作文介绍一个著名人物

五年级英语作文介绍一个著名人物全文共5篇示例,供读者参考篇1My Favorite Famous Person: Albert EinsteinHave you ever heard of Albert Einstein? He was a really smart scientist who discovered some amazing things about the universe! I'm going to tell you all about his life and why I admire him so much.Albert Einstein was born in Germany in 1879. Even as a kid, he was super curious about how things worked. His parents said he asked a million questions every day! He loved math and science from a very young age. When Einstein was five years old, his father gave him a compass. A compass is that thing that always points north because of magnetism. Einstein was completely fascinated by the invisible force that made the needle move. He spent hours playing with it and wondering what made it work. From that moment on, he knew he wanted to be a scientist when he grew up so he could discover the secrets of the universe. In school, Einstein was a good student, but he didn't always follow the rules. His teachers thought he asked too many questions and daydreamed too much. One teacher even said "He will never amount to anything!" But Einstein just learned differently than other kids. His mind was always working on figuring things out. When he got older, Einstein had a very hard time finding a job because of his unconventional thinking. But he never gave up. He worked really hard and finally got hired at an office in Switzerland reviewing patent applications. In his spare time, he continued studying physics and doing lots of experiments. Then in 1905, when Einstein was just 26 years old, he published four groundbreaking scientific papers that changed physics forever! One of them described his famous Theory of Relativity. It showed that time and space are not absolute, but can change depending on how fast you are moving relative to something else. Woah, that's deep stuff! The Theory of Relativity led to the famous equation E=mc2. This mind-blowing equation means that energy and mass (like matter) are actually two forms of the same thing! It opened up our understanding of how the entire universe works at thedeepest levels. Einstein's ideas made him world-famous and completely revolutionized physics. But that wasn't all Einstein discovered. He also explained the nature of light and proved that atoms really do exist. He figured out why the sky is blue. And his work helped lead to inventions like lasers, television, solar cells, and even the atomic bomb (which he actually felt terrible about). It's amazing how one person's brilliant ideas could unlock so many secrets of the cosmos!Despite being one of the greatest minds in human history, Einstein remained very humble and down-to-earth. He had a great sense of humor and loved to play his violin to relax. He didn't care about fancy clothes or being wealthy. Einstein just wanted to understand the mysteries of our reality. As he said, "The important thing is not to stop questioning. Curiosity has its own reason for existing."That quote really sums up why I admire Einstein so much. He never lost his childhood curiosity and wonder about the world, even as a grown-up. His open and questioning mind allowed him to see things that no one else could. Einstein proved that you should never stop asking "Why?" and seeking knowledge, no matter what people tell you. It's incredible to think that a poor kid from Germany, who wasn't even a great student, could change our understanding of the entire universe just by following his curiosity and thinking in new ways. Einstein showed that if you truly love learning and aren't afraid to be different, you can accomplish amazing things. So those are the reasons why Albert Einstein is my favorite famous person of all time. His story inspires me to always be curious, to question everything, to think for myself, and to never give up on my dreams - no matter how "impossible" they may seem. I hope his legacy will continue sparking the imagination of young minds for generations to come!篇2My Favorite Famous Person: Neil ArmstrongHi friends! Today I want to tell you all about my favorite famous person ever - Neil Armstrong! He was an astronaut who became the first person to walk on the moon. How cool is that?!Neil Armstrong was born on August 5, 1930 in Wapakoneta, Ohio. Even as a little kid, he was really interested in airplanes and flying. When he was 6 years old, he went to the Cleveland Air Races and got so excited watching the plane stunts and tricks. From that day on, he knew he wanted to be a pilot when he grew up.After finishing high school, Neil went to college at Purdue University. He studied aeronautical engineering, which is all about designing aircrafts and spacecrafts. Armstrong was a very good student and did well in all his classes. While he was at Purdue, he also took flying lessons and got his pilot's license before he even graduated! When Neil finished college in 1955, he joined the military and became a test pilot. His job was to test out new airplanes and make sure they were safe to fly. Being a test pilot is very dangerous though, because sometimes the planes would crash or have problems. In 1962, Neil applied to be an astronaut with NASA, which is the U.S. government's space program. Out of thousands of applicants, he was selected to be one of the first astronauts! For the next few years, Neil trained really hard to prepare for spaceflight. He practiced driving lunar rovers, simulating walking on the moon, and doing lots of difficult exercises. His first trip to space was in 1966 on the Gemini 8 mission. Neil performed the first ever docking of two vehicles in space, which is when two spacecraft attach together while orbiting the earth.Unfortunately, there was a problem and they had to abort the mission early and return home. Still, it was great practice for his next big challenge. On July 16, 1969, Neil Armstrong became the first person ever to land a spacecraft on the moon! He was the mission commander for the historic Apollo 11 flight. After their lunar module landed on the moon, Neil famously said "The Eagle has landed" over the radio. A few hours later, Neil climbed down the ladder and stepped onto the moon's surface. His first words when he stepped onto the moon were "That's one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind." Wow!Neil and his crewmate Buzz Aldrin spent over 21 hours walking around, taking pictures, and collecting rock samples on the moon before returning to Earth. People all over the world were glued to their TV screens, watching in amazement as the astronauts bounced around in the low gravity of the moon. Neil brought back over 20 pounds of moon rocks to study back on Earth. After returning from the historic Apollo 11 mission, Neil Armstrong became a true American hero. He received the Presidential Medal of Freedom, which is the highest honor for a civilian. There were parades and celebrations across the countryto honor the brave astronauts. However, Neil was a very humble and quiet man. He didn't like being treated like a celebrity.Armstrong left NASA in 1971 and became a professor at the University of Cincinnati, where he taught aerospace engineering classes. Even though he could have earned a lot of money going on talk shows or doing commercials, Neil turned down most requests like that. He preferred to live a normal, private life with his family.Neil Armstrong is my hero because he had the courage to go where no human had gone before. Just imagine how scary it must have been to be the first person ever to set foot on another world! But Neil was brave, smart, and worked extremely hard to achieve his dream of walking on the moon. His historic accomplishments inspired the whole world and helped advance space exploration. I hope that one day, I can be as courageous and dedicated as Neil Armstrong was. Thanks for reading my essay! I tried to include all the important details about Neil Armstrong's incredible life and how he became the first person on the moon. From his small-town beginnings to becoming a world-famous hero, his story shows that with hard work and perseverance, you can make yourdreams come true - even seemingly impossible ones! Let me know if you have any other questions.篇3My Favorite Famous Person: Neil ArmstrongHi everyone! Today I want to tell you about my favorite famous person ever - Neil Armstrong! He was an American astronaut who became the first human to walk on the Moon. How cool is that? Just imagine being the first person to step onto another world. Armstrong is a huge hero and I really look up to him.Armstrong was born on August 5, 1930 in Wapakoneta, Ohio. As a kid, he loved studying airplanes and flight. When he was a teenager, he got his student pilot's license before he could even drive a car! During World War 2, he was really interested in becoming a pilot. After high school, he studied aerospace engineering at Purdue University. In 1949, Armstrong joined the U.S. Navy and became a test pilot. He flew over 900 different aircraft models and spent 8 years as a test pilot. Testing new planes is an incredibly dangerous job, but Armstrong was brave and skilled. In 1962, he was selected by NASA to join the astronaut program.Armstrong trained for years to prepare for space travel. He was the backup pilot for the historic Gemini 5 mission in 1965. For the first time ever, astronauts spent almost a week in space! Armstrong was supposed to walk in space on that mission but didn't get to. I bet he was disappointed, but he stayed focused on his goal.In 1966, Armstrong was picked to be the commander for the Apollo 8 mission. This flight was going to orbit the Moon for the first time. Unfortunately, Armstrong had to be replaced due to a minor surgery. Although he missed out again, he was chosen to command an even more important mission - Apollo 11!On July 16, 1969, Armstrong and his crew blasted off aboard a massive Saturn V rocket. Over 600 million people around the world watched the launch live on TV! It took them 4 days to travel the 250,000 miles to the Moon. When they got into orbit, Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin climbed into the lunar lander called "Eagle" to make the final descent. As they landed, the controllers lost contact with them temporarily. Finally, Armstrong radioed back the famous words: "The Eagle has landed." Everyone on Earth went crazy with excitement! A few hours later, Armstrong opened the hatch and made his way down the ladder. When he stepped onto the dustysurface, he said: "That's one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind."For the next 2 and a half hours, Armstrong and Aldrin explored the lunar surface. They conducted experiments, collected rock samples, and took iconic photographs. They even had a televisioLN camera so people back on Earth could watch them live! Armstrong's awesome mission paved the way for 5 more lunar landings over the next few years. After returning to Earth as a total hero, Armstrong went on plenty of goodwill tours and received many honors. He was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom, which is the highest award for a civilian. Armstrong stayed involved with NASA and aerospace for decades to inspire future generations. In my opinion, Neil Armstrong is one of the bravest and most important people who ever lived. He risked his life to achieve something no human had done before. Armstrong's "small step" onto the Moon was an amazing accomplishment for all of humanity. I have so much respect and admiration for his courage, skills, and determination.Armstrong showed that with hard work and perseverance, any dream is possible no matter how crazy it may seem. He once said: "There can be no great accomplishment without risk."Those are words I'll never forget. Neil Armstrong achieved the greatest accomplishment of the 20th century and became a legend forever. I hope I can be as brave and dedicated as him when I grow up! The Moon landing inspires me to always aim high and never give up on my goals.篇4My Favorite Famous Person: Michael JordanHave you ever watched someone play a sport and they were just so amazing that you couldn't take your eyes off them? That's how I feel when I watch Michael Jordan play basketball! He is definitely my favorite famous person of all time. Let me tell you all about why Michael Jordan is so awesome.First of all, Michael Jordan was an incredible basketball player. He played in the NBA for 15 seasons, mostly with the Chicago Bulls. During his career, he won 6 NBA championship rings! That's a lot of rings. He also won 5 MVP awards, which is given to the best player that year. Michael Jordan averaged over 30 points per game for his career, which means he scored a ton of baskets. But he didn't just score, he played great defense too and racked up a lot of steals and blocked shots. What made Michael Jordan such a special player was his athleticism and competitive drive. He could jump really high - his vertical leap was over 40 inches! That allowed him to dunk over other players easily. He was also lightning quick and could blow past defenders with his speed. But more than his physical talents, Michael Jordan had an unbelievable will to win and hatred of losing. He worked incredibly hard and would do whatever it took to make his team victorious. Some of Michael Jordan's most famous moments came in the NBA Finals against tough opponents. In the 1997 Finals against the Utah Jazz, he hit a game-winning shot with just a few seconds left to win his 5th championship. Everyone remembers him pulling up for the jumper and hitting nothing but net as time expired. In the 1992 Finals, he had an amazing performance, scoring over 30 points per game while leading his team to victory over the Portland Trailblazers. Those were just a couple of his many clutch performances.Off the court, Michael Jordan was an international superstar and a great businessman too. He had so many endorsement deals for products like Nike, Gatorade, McDonald's and more. In fact, he helped make Nike one of the biggest brands in the world through his incredibly popular Air Jordan shoe line. Every kid, including me, wanted a pair of Jordans because he made them look so cool. Even today, over 20 years since he retired, the Jordan brand is still super popular.Michael Jordan is also famous for his cool personality and staying humble despite all his success. He had an awesome nickname - "Air Jordan" - because he could seem to fly through the air. But he never acted like he was better than anyone else. When teammates or reporters asked him questions, Jordan was always respectful and never boastful. His competitive fire only came out on the court.Since retiring from playing basketball, Michael Jordan has stayed involved in the game. He is now the owner of the Charlotte Hornets NBA team. It's really cool that after being such a great player, he now gets to run his own franchise. Jordan has said his dream is for the Hornets to become champions just like his Bulls teams were. With his determination and talent, I'm sure he'll get there eventually! In conclusion, Michael Jordan is my all-time favorite famous person because of his incredible basketball skills, his amazing work ethic and drive to be the best, his cool personality off the court, his brand that made him an international star, and how he stays involved in the game he loves. Watching Michael Jordanplay was like seeing magic happen before your eyes. He is simply the greatest basketball player ever and a true champion in every sense of the word. That's why "His Airness" will always be my hero and the person I admire most.篇5My Favorite Famous Person: Malala YousafzaiHave you ever heard of Malala Yousafzai? 六年级下册介绍名人英语作文40个词全文共6篇示例,供读者参考篇1My Hero: Marie CurieDo you have a hero? Someone you really look up to and admire? My biggest hero is Marie Curie. She was a brilliant scientist who made amazing discoveries, but she also had to overcome many challenges in her life. To me, she is the definition of courage, brilliance, and perseverance. Let me tell you her inspiring story.Marie was born in Poland in 1867. From a young age, she was extremely curious and loved learning. However, back then women didn't have the same opportunities as men when it came to education. Marie's family didn't have much money, but her parents still supported her thirst for knowledge. When she was 10 years old, Marie's incredible mind shone through when she won a medal for her performance on an extremely difficult exam. Her intelligence and hard work helped pave the way for her future successes. However, her journey was filled with obstacles.Since universities in Poland didn't accept female students at the time, Marie had to find alternative ways to continue her studies. She ended up leaving her home country and moving to France to attend the University of Paris - one of the few places that allowed women to get a higher education.Once in Paris, Marie faced poverty, hunger, and discrimination for being a woman. She lived in a tiny, freezing apartment and often went without food so she could afford textbooks. But Marie never let her difficult circumstances stop her. She kept pushing forward with her education.Marie's dedication paid off when she earned degrees in physics and mathematics. Not long after, she met and married Pierre Curie, a professor and brilliant scientist himself. The two made an incredible team and research partners.Marie and Pierre began investigating a strange phenomenon - rays that were emitted from uranium that could pass through human flesh. They called this mysterious occurrence "radioactivity." The couple worked tirelessly to understand it, conducting experiment after experiment in a run-down shed.Their hard work led to an astounding discovery - two new elements on the periodic table, polonium and radium. These elements were millions of times more radioactive than uranium. The Curies' breakthrough changed the world and opened up a new scientific field. For their pioneering work on radioactivity, Marie and Pierre were awarded the prestigious Nobel Prize in Physics in 1903. Marie was the first woman to ever receive this high honor. Sadly, just a few years later, Pierre was killed in a tragic accident. But Marie powered through her grief. She took over Pierre's teaching position, becoming the first female professor at the University of Paris. Once again, she faced immense sexism and discrimination. Some people didn't want a woman teaching at the university. But Marie kept going, continuing her research. In an amazing achievement, Marie Curie won her second Nobel Prize in 1911 - this time in Chemistry. She is the only person in history to have won the Nobel Prize twice in multiple sciences. Her discoveries paved the way for x-rays, radiation therapy for cancer treatment, and many other vital breakthroughs.Though her brilliance revolutionized science, Marie's life was also marked by great sadness and sacrifice. Her work with radioactive materials made her very ill and she eventually passed away in 1934 from illnesses caused by radiation exposure.Yet Marie Curie's remarkable legacy lives on. She shattered glass ceilings for women in science and beyond. More than that, she showed that with passion, persistence, and a thirst for knowledge, any dream can be achieved no matter the obstacles.Whenever I face difficulties, I think of Marie's incredible determination and courage in the face of poverty, discrimination, and personal tragedies. Her life is a shining example that anything is possible. Marie Curie is the ultimate role model of resilience, brilliance, and strength. She will always be my hero.篇2My Hero: Marie CurieHave you ever heard of Marie Curie? She is one of the most amazing scientists who ever lived! Marie Curie was a woman from Poland who made incredible discoveries about radiation and radioactivity. She was the first person to win two Nobel Prizes in different fields. How awesome is that?Marie was born in 1867 in Warsaw, which was part of Russia at t he time. Her full name was Maria Salomea Skłodowska. Her family valued education a lot, even though it was difficult for women to get educated back then. Marie was a brilliant studentfrom a young age. She had a passion for learning, especially math and science subjects. When Marie was 10 years old, her older sister Bronya had to stop attending an illegal underground education for Polish women because the family couldn't afford it anymore. So Marie took Bronya's secret classes instead! She worked very hard and was at the top of her class. Education meant everything to young Marie. After high school, Marie wanted to study at a university, but women were not allowed at universities in Poland at that time. So in 1891, at age 24, she went to live with her sister Bronya in Paris, France to continue her education. She had to work as a governess and tutor to support herself while studying at the University of Paris.Marie excelled in her physics, mathematics, and chemistry classes. In 1894, she met a brilliant scientist named Pierre Curie. They fell in love because they shared the same passion for science. They were married in 1895 and went on to make amazing discoveries together about radioactivity.Do you know what radioactivity is? It's when unstable atoms emit energy and radiation. Marie coined the term "radioactivity" in 1898. She and Pierre discovered two new chemical elements -radium and polonium! They had to work very hard, processing tons of pitchblack material from uranium mines to find these new radioactive elements. Their work was extremely dangerous because radiation can cause serious health issues if you're exposed to too much of it.In 1903, Marie and Pierre Curie, along with Henri Becquerel, won the Nobel Prize in Physics for their groundbreaking research on radioactivity. Sadly, Pierre was killed in an accident in 1906 when he was run over by a horse-drawn carriage. But Marie did not give up on her work.In 1911, Marie Curie won a second Nobel Prize, this time in Chemistry, for discovering the elements radium and polonium. She is the only person in history to win Nobel Prizes in two different sciences! How incredible is that? Marie continued her pioneering work and research on radioactivity throughout her life.Marie faced many challenges as a woman in science. At the time, very few women were accepted in universities or in scientific fields dominated by men. But she never gave up and followed her dreams. Marie said, "Nothing in life is to be feared, it is only to be understood. Now is the time to understand more, so that we may fear less."Curie's discoveries laid the foundation for many areas of modern physics and chemistry. Radiation and radioactive materials are now used in x-ray machines, radiation therapy for cancer treatment, and nuclear power plants. But Marie Curie paid a heavy price for her work - she died in 1934 of aplastic anemia caused by radiation exposure.Despite all the hardships and discrimination she faced, Marie Curie never stopped pursuing knowledge. Her brilliant mind, passion, and resilience paved the way for women in science. Marie once said, "Life is not easy for any of us. But what of that? We must have perseverance and above all confidence in ourselves. We must believe that we are gifted for something, and that this thing, at whatever cost, must be attained."Those are wise words that inspire me to follow my own dreams and never give up, no matter how difficult things may seem. Marie Curie is my hero because she was a pioneering scientist who changed the world through her discoveries. But she was also a determined, hardworking woman who overcame many obstacles and proved that females are just as capable as males in fields like science. Her life story motivates me to work hard, believe in myself, and keep pursuing my goals with passion and perseverance.篇3My Biggest Hero: Marie CurieHave you ever heard of Marie Curie? She was a famous scientist who lived a long time ago, but her amazing discoveries changed the world forever. Marie Curie is my biggest hero, and I'm going to tell you all about her incredible life.Marie was born in 1867 in Warsaw, which was part of Russian Poland at the time. From a very young age, she was an excellent student who loved learning, especially about science and math. However, back then universities in Poland didn't accept women. Can you imagine that? Just because she was a girl, Marie couldn't get a higher education in her home country. But Marie didn't let that stop her. She was determined to keep studying no matter what. In 1891, she went to France to attend the University of Paris, one of the few places that allowed women to get university degrees. It wasn't easy though. Marie had to work as a governess and tutor to support herself while going to school. Even so, she worked extremely hard and graduated at the top of her class! After getting her degree, Marie met a professor named Pierre Curie. They fell in love and got married in 1895. Not onlydid they make a great couple, but they also made an incredible scientific team. Pierre was just as passionate about science as Marie. Together, they began researching a new mysterious phenomenon called "radioactivity."You see, a few years earlier, the physicist Henri Becquerel discovered that certain elements like uranium gave off mysterious rays, almost like invisible light. But nobody knew what these rays were or where they came from. Marie and Pierre were determined to figure it out.For years, they worked tirelessly in their tiny, unheated shed laboratory. Marieeven had to carry heavy buckets of the radioactive ore pitchblende up several flights of stairs because they had no equipment! Can you imagine how hard that must have been? But through their intense hard work and brilliance, they made an earth-shattering discovery. In 1898, Marie and Pierre realized the pitchblende contained two brand new elements that were highly radioactive. They named one "polonium" after Marie's home country of Poland. The other they called "radium." Marie had to process TONS of the pitchblende ore, getting radiation exposure, to produce just a tiny bit of radium. It took her four years of backbreaking work!Marie's discovery of radium and polonium was one of the greatest scientific breakthroughs ever. It completely changed our understanding of energy, matter, and the universe itself. Radium's rays could actually destroy cancer cells, leading to a new therapy that saved countless lives. That's why Marie Curie is considered the mother of modern radiation science. After their amazing discovery, things should have been easy for Marie and Pierre, right? Sadly, tragedy struck in 1906 when Pierre was killed after being struck by a horse-drawn wagon. Marie was devastated to lose her husband and partner. But she knew their work was too important to give up.Shockingly, rather than helping her continue Pierre's research, the French science community tried to hold Marie back because she was a woman. Some didn't even want to let her teach at the University. But Marie persevered through the discrimination. In 1911, she was awarded the Nobel Prize in Chemistry for her work on radium and polonium. She was the first woman ever to win a Nobel Prize!Marie didn't stop there though. She was also awarded the Nobel Prize in Physics in 1903 for other discoveries about radioactivity, along with her husband Pierre and Henri Becquerel.Marie is the only person in history to ever win the Nobel Prize twice in multiple sciences. How amazing is that?Unfortunately, Marie's life of pioneering work was cut short due to the radiation exposure she endured over the years from handling radioactive materials. She passed away in 1934 at the age of 66 from anemia caused by her exposure.Even though her life was difficult and ended too soon, Marie Curie accomplished so much through her passion, brilliance, and perseverance. She revolutionized science, proved that women could be great scientists and academics, and opened up a whole new field of atomic physics that still impacts our world today. That's why Marie Curie will always be my biggest hero. Her story of overcoming barriers, discrimination, and personal tragedy through strength and determination is incredibly inspiring. Whenever I face challenges or setbacks, I think of Marie working tirelessly in that tiny shed to change the world. If she could achieve so much against all odds, then I know I can overcome any obstacle too. Marie Curie is a shining example that with hard work, belief in yourself, and an unquenchable thirst for knowledge, anyone can make groundbreaking discoveries and leave an amazing legacy.篇4My Favorite Famous Person: Neil ArmstrongOne of my favorite famous people is Neil Armstrong. From that moment on, he knew he wanted to be a pilot. As a young man, Neil joined the U.S. Navy and became a test pilot. Test pilots are very brave people who try out new aircraft before anyone else. It's a dangerous job, but Neil was fearless. He flew over 200 different models of planes, from little crop dusters to rockets! In 1962, Neil was selected by NASA to be an astronaut. At NASA's space center in Houston, Texas, he trained for years to go into space. Finally, in 1966 he got his big chance on the Gemini 8 mission, which was the first time two vehicles docked together in space. Wow!Neil's most famous achievement was on July 20, 1969 when he became the first person to walk on the moon as commander of the Apollo 11 mission. After landing the lunar module "Eagle" on the moon's surface, he famously said "The Eagle has landed" to Mission Control back on Earth. A few hours later, he opened the door and climbed down the ladder. Taking that first step, hesaid the immortal words: "That's one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind." He spent over 21 hours exploring and doing experiments on the moon. When he came back home, Neil Armstrong was a true American hero.Even though he walked on the moon, Neil was a very modest and private person. He didn't like being called a hero and once said "I was certainly praised widely. But I was paid for the work no more than anyone else." After retiring from NASA in 1971, he became a professor at the University of Cincinnati, teaching aerospace engineering classes.Neil Armstrong passed away in 2012 at the age of 82, but he will always be remembered as one of the greatest pioneers of space exploration. His bravery, intelligence and curiosity about the unknown inspired people all over the world to keep reaching for the stars. In my mind, there's no one more amazing or heroic than Neil Armstrong. Whenever I look up at the night sky, I think about that "one small step" on the moon's dusty surface, and how it represented a huge leap forward for all humanity. I hope that someday I can be as courageous and determined as Neil Armstrong was in chasing his dream of space travel. He showed that with hard work and perseverance, even the impossible canbe achieved. The moon is just the first step - who knows what other incredible frontiers humans may explore next? Thanks to Neil and the other Apollo astronauts, I'm excited to find out!篇4My Favorite Person: Neil ArmstrongHave you ever looked up at the night sky and wondered what it would be like to walk on the moon? Well, my favorite person, Neil Armstrong, was the first human ever to set foot on the lunar surface! He was an incredible American astronaut and aeronautical engineer who achieved one of the most amazing accomplishments in history.Neil Armstrong was born on August 5, 1930 on a farm in Wapakoneta, Ohio. Even as a little kid, he was fascinated by airplanes and flying machines. When he was just 6 years old, he went to the Cleveland Air Races and got so excited watching the planes zooming overhead. From that day on, his dream was to become a pilot. As Neil got older, he worked really hard to make his dream come true. He took flying lessons as a teenager and then joined the U.S. Navy in 1949 as an aviator. He flew many missions in the Korean War and was an excellent pilot. After the war, he went tocollege and became an aeronautical engineer, designing planes and spacecraft. Pretty cool, right? In 1962, Neil Armstrong was selected to be an astronaut for NASA, the U.S. space agency. This was during the famous Space Race between America and Russia to see who could get to the moon first. Armstrong was chosen for the historic Apollo 11 mission which would attempt to land astronauts on the lunar surface for the first time.On July 16, 1969, Armstrong and two other astronauts, Buzz Aldrin and Michael Collins, blasted off aboard a gigantic Saturn V rocket. The journey to the moon took four days. Once they arrived in orbit around the moon, Armstrong and Aldrin climbed into the lunar module nicknamed "Eagle" while Collins remained in the command module.Armstrong piloted the Eagle down towards the moon's surface, battling computer overloads and low fuel alarms. When he finally landed in an area called the Sea of Tranquility, he radioed back the famous words: "The Eagle has landed." A few hours later, on July 20th 1969, Armstrong opened the hatch, climbed down the ladder, and took his first steps onto the dusty lunar surface, declaring "That's one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind."Can you imagine how cool that must have been? Armstrong spent over 21 hours walking and working on the moon, collecting samples, taking photographs, and performing scientific experiments. When it was time to leave, getting back off the moon was just as tricky as landing! But Armstrong successfully piloted the lunar module back to meet up with Collins and the command module. The three astronauts then began their long journey home. When Armstrong, Aldrin and Collins finally returned to Earth on July 24th after more than eight days in space, they were given a hero's welcome. People all over the world celebrated as man had visited another celestial body for the first time. Armstrong became a true American icon and international celebrity. After retiring from NASA in 1971, Armstrong spent many years as a college professor, sharing his knowledge and experiences. But he will always be remembered for his historic moon landing and famous first steps on the lunar surface. His courage, skill and dedication allowed him to achieve something that once seemed impossible. Neil Armstrong proved that with hard work and perseverance, you can turn your biggest dreams into reality, even if it means traveling all the way to the moon!So that's why Neil Armstrong is my favorite person and hero. He showed me that if I aim high, study hard, and never give up, there's no limit to what I can accomplish - maybe I'll even walk on Mars someday! The night sky is no longer the limit.篇5My Favorite Person: Jane GoodallHave you ever heard of Jane Goodall? She's my favorite person ever! Let me tell you all about her and why I admire her so much.Jane Goodall is a famous scientist who has studied chimpanzees for more than 60 years. She was born in London, England, on April 3, 1934. When she was just a little girl, she loved animals and had a special stuffed chimpanzee toy that she carried with her everywhere. Even back then, she dreamed of living with animals in Africa and learning all about them. After finishing school, Jane worked really hard to save up money so she could go to Africa and follow her dream. In 1960, when she was 26 years old, she finally got the chance to travel to Gombe Stream National Park in Tanzania. That's where she started her famous study of chimpanzees in the wild.At first, the chimpanzees were scared of Jane and wouldn't let her get too close. But she was very patient and spent hours and hours just sitting and watching them from a distance. Slowly, the chimpanzees started to get used to her being there. After a long time, they even allowed her to approach and observe their behavior up close!Jane made so many amazing discoveries about chimpanzees during her research. For example, she saw them making and using tools, which scientists had thought only humans could do. She also saw chimpanzees hunting and eating meat, which no one had seen before. Jane realized that chimpanzees were much smarter and more like humans than people had thought. One of the most famous chimpanzees Jane studied was named David Graybeard. He was the first chimpanzee to lose his fear of Jane and let her get really close. Jane said he was like a friend to her, and she learned so much by watching him and the other chimpanzees in his group.Jane didn't just observe the chimpanzees - she also worked hard to protect them and their habitat. She started programs to stop people from hunting and capturing the chimpanzees. She also taught people about how important it is to take care of the environment and save the rainforests where chimpanzees live.Even though Jane is now an older lady (she's 89 years old!), she still travels around the world, talking to people about protecting animals and the environment. She has won many awards and wrote lots of books to share what she has learned.I really admire Jane Goodall because she never gave up on her dream, even when things were hard. She was brave to go live in Africa all by herself to study the chimpanzees. And she has taught the world so much about how intelligent and special chimpanzees are. Most of all, I love how much she cares about animals and protecting their homes. Jane Goodall is living proof that if you work hard and follow your passion, you can make the world a better place.I hope that someday I can be as brave, caring, and determined as Jane Goodall. She's not just my favorite scientist - she's my hero! If you've never heard of her before, I hope this essay has shown you why Jane Goodall is such an amazing and inspirational person.篇6My Hero: Albert EinsteinHave you ever heard of Albert Einstein? He was a really smart scientist who lived a long time ago. Einstein is probably the mostfamous scientist ever! I want to tell you all about his amazing life and why he is my hero.Einstein was born in Germany in 1879. Even as a little kid, he was super curious about how things worked. His parents said he asked a million questions every day! Einstein's father gave him a compass when he was five years old. Little Albert was completely fascinated by the way the compass needle kept pointing north no matter which way he turned it. He wondered what invisible force was making it move. That's when Einstein's interest in science began. In school, Einstein was a bit of a troublemaker. He thought the lessons were boring and he would daydream in class instead of paying attention. His teachers said he would never amount to anything! But Einstein didn't let that get him down. He loved learning about math, science, and philosophy by reading books on his own. Even though he didn't do well in school, he was incredibly smart. When Einstein was a young man, he got a job at the patent office in Switzerland. His job was to review applications for new inventions and decide if they were unique and useful enough to get a patent. In his free time, Einstein loved to think about the mysteries of the universe. In 1905, which was called his "MiracleYear," he published four revolutionary scientific papers that changed physics forever! One of Einstein's most famous ideas is his Theory of Relativity. It explains that space, time, mass, energy and gravity are all related to each other. Before Einstein, nobody realized that! His equation E=mc^2 shows that tiny amounts of mass can be converted into huge amounts of energy. This equation proved that atoms contain massive amounts of energy inside them. Einstein's theories paved the way for nuclear power and space exploration.Another major idea Einstein had was that nothing can travel faster than the speed of light. He completely changed how scientists view time, space, energy and gravity. His ideas were so revolutionary that even Einstein himself was shocked by them at first!Einstein became world-famous for his brilliant mind. But he didn't just think about theories and do experiments. He also cared deeply about peace, human rights and social justice. Einstein spoke out against racism, nationalism and the unfair treatment of Jewish people. During World War II, he wrote a letter to President Roosevelt warning that Germany mightdevelop a terrible new weapon called an atomic bomb. This letter led to the Manhattan Project and the first nuclear weapons.Even though his scientific work helped create nuclear bombs, Einstein was actually strongly against war. He once said, "Peace cannot be kept by force; it can only be achieved by understanding." Einstein believed that war could not solve the world's problems. He became a world leader for peace and inspired the anti-war movement of the 1960s. Martin Luther King Jr. was friends with Einstein and agreed with his views onnon-violence.Throughout his life, Einstein never stopped being curious and wanting to learn. He asked questions that no one had ever thought to ask before. Einstein taught us to be creative thinkers and to question everything around us. He showed that even if people doubt you or put you down, you can still make incredible discoveries by working hard.Even though Einstein lived over 100 years ago, his life and ideas still affect us today. Einstein's theories are the foundation of modern physics and technology. Computers, TVs, lasers, satellites and even GPS would not be possible without his work. Perhaps one day I can be a famous scientist like Einstein and change the world too! That's why Albert Einstein is my biggest hero. He had a powerful mind and imagination. But he also stood up for peace, human rights and challenged society's beliefs. Einstein proved that one person's ideas really can transform our understanding of the universe. I hope that by following in Einstein's footsteps and never stopping asking "Why?", I can make my own amazing discoveries someday!。

Here is an essay introducing a famous person in the style of an elementary school student, written in English with a length of approximately 2,000 words. My Favorite Famous Person: Neil ArmstrongHave you ever dreamed of going to the moon? I sure have! The first person to ever walk on the moon is my favorite famous person: Neil Armstrong. He was an American astronaut who made history by becoming the first human to set foot on the lunar surface. Let me tell you all about this amazing explorer!Neil Armstrong was born on August 5, 1930, in Wapakoneta, Ohio. As a young boy, he loved studying airplanes and flight. When he was just six years old, he took his first airplane ride. From that moment on, he knew he wanted to become a pilot. Neil worked hard in school, especially in math and science subjects. After graduating from high school, he joined the United States Navy and became a skilled pilot. In 1962, Neil Armstrong was selected to be an astronaut for the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA). He trained for years to prepare for space missions. Finally, in 1966, he got his chance to go to space as the commander of the Gemini 8 mission. During this mission, he became the first civilian to dock two vehicles in space! But Neil's greatest accomplishment was yet to come. In 1969, he was chosen to be the commander of the Apollo 11 mission, which aimed to land the first humans on the moon. On July 16, 1969, the massive Saturn V rocket blasted off from Cape Canaveral in Florida, carrying Neil Armstrong, Buzz Aldrin, and Michael Collins towards the moon. After traveling for four days, the lunar module named "Eagle" separated from the main spacecraft. Neil and Buzz climbed inside the Eagle and prepared for the historic landing. As they approached the moon's surface, they encountered some problems. The computer was giving them warnings, and the planned landing site was too rocky. Neil had to take manual control and find a safer spot to land. Finally, on July 20, 1969, Neil Armstrong announced those famous words: "The Eagle has landed!" A few hours later, he opened the hatch and slowly climbed down the ladder. When hisboot touched the dusty surface of the moon, he said the unforgettable words: "That's one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind."For the next two and a half hours, Neil and Buzz explored the lunar surface. They conducted experiments, collected rock and soil samples, and took plenty of photographs. Neil even had a little fun by jumping around in the low gravity environment. When it was time to leave, they carefully climbed back into the Eagle and rejoined Michael Collins in the main spacecraft. After their safe return to Earth, Neil Armstrong and his crew were celebrated as heroes all around the world. People were amazed by their courage and accomplishments. Neil received the Presidential Medal of Freedom, which is the highest civilian honor in the United States.Throughout his life, Neil Armstrong remained humble and focused on his work. He continued to support NASA's space programs and inspired countless people to pursue their dreams. Even though he passed away in 2012, his legacy as the first man on the moon will always be remembered.Neil Armstrong is my favorite famous person because he showed us that nothing is impossible if we work hard and believe in ourselves. His journey to the moon reminds me that withdetermination and perseverance, we can achieve great things. I hope that one day, I can be as brave and adventurous as Neil Armstrong and maybe even travel to outer space myself!篇2My Favorite Famous Person: Neil ArmstrongDo you know who Neil Armstrong is? He's my favorite famous person ever! Neil Armstrong was an astronaut who walked on the moon. That's really cool if you think about it. He left Earth and went to a totally different world! Not many people can say they've done that.Neil Armstrong was born on August 5, 1930 on a farm in Wapakoneta, Ohio. When he was a kid, he loved studying air planes and flight. He got his student pilot's license before he even got his driver's license! That means he could fly a plane before he could drive a car. Amazing, right? After finishing college, Neil joined the United States Navy and became a test pilot. A test pilot is someone who tests new airplanes to make sure they are safe to fly. It's a pretty dangerous job! During the Korean War, Neil flew 78 combat missions. He was an excellent pilot. In 1962, Neil was selected to be an astronaut for NASA, which is the United States space program. An astronaut is someone who is trained to travel into outer space. Neil's first space mission was in 1966 when he joined the Gemini 8 crew. During that mission, his ship started spinning rapidly and had to make an emergency landing in the Pacific Ocean. That must have been really scary!Neil's biggest claim to fame was when he became the first person to ever walk on the moon during the Apollo 11 mission in 1969. On July 20th of that year, Neil stepped off the lunar lander and onto the surface of the moon. As he took that first step, he said the famous words "That's one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind." Billions of people watched the moon landing on TV. It was an amazing accomplishment and a huge moment in human history. After walking on the moon for almost three hours, Neil and his crewmate Buzz Aldrin got back into the lunar lander to rejoin the bigger spacecraft that brought them to the moon in the first place. Then they had to make the long journey back to Earth. When their spacecraft finally landed in the Pacific Ocean on July 24th, they had to go through a 3-week quarantine to make sure they didn't bring any moon germs back with them!Neil Armstrong was a true American hero. He inspired so many people with his bravery, intelligence, and skill as an astronaut and pilot. He continued working for NASA after the Apollo missions until he retired in 1971. In later years, Neil made speeches, signed autographs, and participated in other events to share his story of becoming the first man to walk on the moon.Neil passed away in 2012 at the age of 82, but his legacy and achievements will never be forgotten. Just think - the first human footprints on the moon were made by Neil Armstrong! How awesome is that? He was able to go where no person had ever gone before. Neil showed that with hard work, bravery, and perseverance, we can achieve amazing things that once seemed impossible.I really look up to Neil Armstrong. He is my biggest hero and role model. I hope that someday I can be as courageous, determined and accomplished as Neil was. Maybe I'll even get to go to the moon myself! For now though, I'm happy learning all I can about this great man and everything he did to push the boundaries of space exploration. Neil Armstrong will always be my favorite famous person.篇3My Favorite Famous Person: Jane GoodallHi, my name is Sarah and I'm going to tell you about my favorite famous person, Jane Goodall. She is a really cool lady who has spent most of her life studying chimpanzees in the wild.I first learned about her in school and I think her work is amazing!Jane was born in London, England in 1934. When she was just a little kid, she was already really interested in animals. She loved reading books about animals and watching them at the zoo or on her family's farm. Even as a young girl, her dream was to go to Africa and study animals up close in their natural habitats. When Jane grew up, she worked really hard to make her dream come true. In 1960, when she was 26 years old, she finally got a chance to travel to Gombe Stream National Park in Tanzania, Africa. A famous scientist named Louis Leakey hired her to study the behavior of chimpanzees in the wild. Can you imagine how excited she must have been? When Jane first arrived at Gombe, she had to work really hard. The forests were thick and it was difficult to find and observe the chimps. But she was patient and kept trying her bestevery single day. After months of searching, she was finally able to start getting close to the chimpanzee families in the park.Over the years, Jane made some really cool discoveries about how chimps live. For example, she saw that chimps are way smarter than scientists used to think. They can make and use tools, they have complex social relationships, and they even have different personalities! Some chimps are shy while others are bold and mischievous. One of the most famous chimps Jane studied was named David Greybeard. He was the first chimpanzee to trust Jane enough to let her get close. Jane gave him his special name because he had an awesome grey beard. David Greybeard helped Jane learn so much about chimp behavior and family life.Another amazing thing Jane discovered is that chimpanzees are a lot like humans in some ways. Chimps kiss, hug, hold hands, and pat each other on the back just like we do. They can get angry or sad and even seem to mourn when a friend dies. Watching the chimps made Jane realize that humans aren't as different from animals as some people think. For over 60 years, Jane has lived and worked in Gombe studying the chimpanzee families there. She is now 89 years old but she is still working hard every day to protect chimpanzeesand their forest homes. Jane started a charity called the Jane Goodall Institute that works to save chimpanzees from going extinct in the wild. The charity also helps people living near chimp habitats learn to live in a way that is better for the environment. In my opinion, Jane Goodall is a true hero because she has taught the world so much about our closest relatives in the animal kingdom. She has shown that animals are intelligent beings who deserve our respect. Jane keeps traveling all around the world to inspire kids like me to follow our dreams and take care of animals and the planet we all share.I hope that when I grow up, I can be as brave, hardworking, and passionate as Jane Goodall. She never gave up on her goal of studying chimps, even when it was really difficult at first. Jane has made the world a better place by helping humans understand more about animals. That is why she is my favorite famous person of all time!篇4My Favorite Famous Person: Neil ArmstrongHave you ever dreamed of going to the moon? Well, my favorite famous person was the first human ever to walk on themoon! His name is Neil Armstrong and he was an astronaut for NASA, which is the space agency in the United States.Neil was born in 1930 in a small town in Ohio. As a kid, he loved studying about airplanes and flying. When he was older, he went to college to study aerospace engineering, which is all about designing aircraft and spacecraft. After college, he became a test pilot for airplanes and rockets. A test pilot is someone who tries out new planes to make sure they are safe before other pilots fly them.In 1962, Neil was selected to be an astronaut for NASA's Gemini and Apollo space programs. The Gemini program helped get astronauts ready for future moon missions by practicing docking two spacecraft together and doing spacewalks. Neil was the command pilot for the Gemini 8 mission in 1966 and became the first civilian to dock two vehicles in space! But Neil's most famous accomplishment was being the first person to walk on the moon during the Apollo 11 mission in 1969. On July 16th, Neil and two other astronauts named Buzz Aldrin and Michael Collins blasted off aboard a gigantic Saturn V rocket. It took them three days to travel the 250,000 miles to the moon! When they got into orbit around the moon, Neil and Buzz climbed into a tiny spacecraft called the Lunar Module or "Eagle" and separated from the main spacecraft that Michael piloted. The Eagle then descended down to the surface of the moon while Michael stayed in orbit. Neil carefully flew the Eagle and looked for a safe spot to land since the moon's surface is very rocky and full of craters. Finally, on July 20th, 1969, the Eagle landed on the moon in an area called the Sea of Tranquility. A couple of hours later, Neil opened the hatch, climbed down the small ladder, and announced his famous words: "That's one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind." He and Buzz spent over 21 hours walking around on the lunar surface, collecting rock samples, doing experiments, and taking lots of pictures and videos. After their successful moonwalk, Neil and Buzz got back into the Eagle, lifted off from the moon, and safely rejoined Michael in the main spacecraft. A few days later, the crew made a splashdown in the Pacific Ocean and returned to Earth as heroes. Neil Armstrong had achieved one of the greatest accomplishments in all of human history! In the years after the moonwalk, Neil received many honors including the Presidential Medal of Freedom, the CongressionalGold Medal, and he had over 20 different objects and places named in his honor like the Armstrong Air and Space Museum. He worked as an aerospace engineer and college professor after leaving NASA in 1971.Neil lived a humble and private life in his later years, making very few public appearances. He passed away in 2012 at the age of 82. But he will always be remembered as a true American hero whose "one small step" inspired generations of explorers, astronauts, scientists and dreamers to aim for the stars.Neil Armstrong showed that with hard work, determination and courage, even the most impossible dreams can be achieved. He proved that humans really can walk on another celestial body!I hope that one day I can visit the moon or maybe even Mars, just like my hero Neil Armstrong did on that historic day in 1969. The sky is no longer the limit for humanity's exploration of space.篇5My Favorite Famous Person - Michael JordanHave you ever heard of Michael Jordan? He is my favorite famous person of all time! Michael Jordan was an amazing basketball player who played for the Chicago Bulls in the NBA. I want to tell you all about him and why I think he is so cool.First of all, let me tell you about Michael's early life. He was born in 1963 in Brooklyn, New York but his family moved to Wilmington, North Carolina when he was still a little kid. Can you believe that when Michael first tried out for his high school varsity basketball team, he didn't make the team? That's right - the person who would become one of the greatest players ever wasn't even good enough to make his high school team at first! But Michael didn't give up. He worked super hard and grew a few more inches. The next year, he made the team and was awesome. In high school, Michael started getting attention for how good he was. He could run really fast, jump really high, and make baskets from practically anywhere on the court. Everybody could see he had a super special talent. After graduating high school, Michael went to the University of North Carolina to play college basketball. His team won the NCAA national championship in 1982 when Michael hit the game-winning shot! What a clutch player he was, even back then. After college, Michael got drafted by the Chicago Bulls in the 1984 NBA draft. As a pro, he just kept getting better and better each year. With his insane athleticism and skill, Michael became known as "Air Jordan" for his ability to hang in the air and makeincredible dunks. His signature shoes made by Nike also got really popular. I would love to have a pair of Air Jordans!Michael led the Bulls to win 6 NBA championships in the 1990s. His two three-peat runs of winning 3 championships in a row from 1991-1993 and then again from 1996-1998 were just unbelievable. In the championship games, he always came up biggest, like when he had to play through the flu in the 1997 finals but still scored 38 points. What a warrior! Michael Jordan was so determined and competitive. I love how he always stuck out his tongue when he was really going hard. Not only was Michael an amazing scorer who could get to the basket and dunk at any time, but he was also a great defender and leader. He won Defensive Player of the Year in 1988 and was always locking down the other team's best player. And he made his teammates better too, like Scottie Pippen, who was an awesome player but Jordan's sidekick. Michael had such a killer instinct to take over games. After retiring for a little while to try playing baseball, Michael came back to the NBA to play for the Washington Wizards for a couple seasons from 2001-2003. Even though he was older, he could still score and play at a super high level. It was amazing seeing him play that late in his career.Off the basketball court, Michael did a lot of cool things too. He starred in the classic movie Space Jam playing himself alongside Bugs Bunny and the Looney Tunes gang. And he was in really popular commercials for things like Nike, Gatorade, McDonald's, and more. His Nike "Air Jordan" brand of shoes and clothes made him the richest pro athlete ever!In conclusion, Michael Jordan is my favorite famous person because he was such an unbelievable athlete and winner, but also a hard worker who never gave up after not making his high school team at first. With his intense competitiveness, amazing talent, and cool lifestyle, he is simply the greatest basketball player of all time in my mind. Air Jordan is the best!篇6My Hero - Dr. Jane GoodallHave you ever wondered what it would be like to live in the jungle with gorillas? Well, Dr. Jane Goodall did just that! She is one of the most famous scientists in the world, and she taught us so much about gorillas and their way of life. Let me tell you all about this amazing woman who is my hero.Dr. Jane Goodall was born on April 3, 1934, in London, England. Even as a little girl, she loved animals and readingbooks about them. When she was just 4 years old, her father gave her a stuffed chimpanzee toy, and she named him Mr. H. This special toy helped spark her lifelong love for primates. As a young woman, Jane worked as a secretary but never lost her dream of studying animals in Africa. In 1957, when she was 23 years old, she got the chance to visit a friend's family who lived on a farm in Kenya. While she was there, she met a famous paleontologist named Dr. Louis Leakey. He was looking for someone to study chimpanzees in the wild, and he chose Jane for the job!In 1960, Jane went to Gombe Stream National Park in Tanzania to begin her groundbreaking research. She was the first person to live among wild chimpanzees and observe their behavior up close. At first, the chimpanzees were scared of her, but Jane was very patient. She would sit quietly in the same place every day, letting the chimpanzees get used to her presence.Slowly but surely, the chimpanzees began to accept Jane. She gave them all names like David Graybeard, Flo, and Frodo, so she could tell them apart. Jane made amazing discoveries about how chimpanzees make and use tools, have close family bonds, and even have different personality types just like humans. One of Jane's most famous observations was of a chimpanzee using a thin stick to "fish" for termites. No one had ever seen an animal make a tool before! This discovery challenged the idea that only humans can make and use tools.Jane also saw chimpanzees hunting and eating other animals, which was surprising because it was thought that chimpanzees were vegetarians. She witnessed them working together to hunt monkeys, which showed their intelligence and ability to cooperate.During her research, Jane had many incredible experiences living among the chimpanzees. Once, a huge male chimpanzee named Charlie charged right at her! Jane stayed calm and didn't move. Charlie stopped just a few feet away and then walked off. Another time, a chimpanzee named Hugo tried to groom Jane's hair, treating her like part of his family.Jane's work was so important because it helped people understand that chimpanzees are intelligent, emotional beings with complex social lives, not so different from humans. Her research also showed the importance of protecting chimpanzees and their habitats from threats like deforestation and poaching. After many years living with the chimpanzees, Jane began traveling around the world to share her research and message ofconservation. In 1977, she started the Jane Goodall Institute to protect chimpanzees and their environments. The Institute has programs in countries across Africa and helps local communities find ways to live peacefully alongside chimpanzees.Jane has written many books for children and adults, and she continues to give lectures all over the world even now at 89 years old. She has received lots of honors, including the prestigious Hubbard Medal from the National Geographic Society. Jane is a true pioneer who forever changed how we think about chimpanzees and the natural world.I admire Dr. Jane Goodall because she was brave enough to follow her dreams of studying animals, even when it was unconventional for a woman at that time. She showed incredible patience, determination, and compassion during her research. Jane taught the world to respect chimpanzees and all living creatures. She is living proof that one person can make a huge difference. I hope that when I grow up, I can be as caring, curious, and persistent as this amazing scientist and conservationist. Jane Goodall is my hero!。

In fact, he was a man full of imagination.I admire Edison a lot because of his great contribution to the world. He had more than 1,000 inventions. In his lifetime, he was always eager to know how things worked, which helped him to earn the nickname the Wizard of Melo Park .He was also so diligent that he worked day and night. And this explained why he had so many great inventions. What impresses me most is his famous saying, Genius is one percent inspiration and ninety-nine percent perspiration. 写关于介绍一个名人的英语作文50字六年级

写关于介绍一个名人的英语作文50字六年级全文共6篇示例,供读者参考篇1My Hero: Serena WilliamsYou know how some people are just really, really good at something? Like, they're so amazing that you can't even imagine being that talented? That's how I feel about Serena Williams and tennis. She's my hero and I'm going to tell you all about why she's so incredible.First of all, her tennis skills are out of this world! She hits the ball so hard and fast, it's like a rocket launcher. And the way she moves around the court is like a cheetah chasing its prey. She's so quick and agile, it's crazy. But it's not just her physical abilities that make her great. She also has this intense determination and mental toughness that I've never seen in anyone else. When Serena steps onto the court, you can see the fire in her eyes. She's there to win, no matter what. And she never gives up, even when she's down and things look really bad. I've seen her come back from losing the first set and being behind in the second to somehow find a way to turn it all around and win. It'slike she has this magical power to just dig deeper than anyone else and find that extra gear when she needs it most. But it's not just her skills and determination that make her my hero. It's also the way she carries herself and the example she sets. Despite all her success and fame, she remains humble and down-to-earth. She never brags or acts like she's better than anyone else. And she's always gracious, whether she wins or loses. But what I really admire about Serena is how she's used her platform to inspire and empower others, especially young girls and women. She's been outspoken about issues like gender equality, body image, and racism in sports. She's shown that you can be a powerful, strong woman and still be feminine and beautiful. And she's never let anyone's doubts or criticisms hold her back from achieving her dreams.Whenever I feel like giving up or letting other people's negative words get me down, I think about Serena and how she's faced so much adversity and criticism throughout her career, but she's never let it stop her. She just keeps pushing forward and proving her doubters wrong, time and time again.I'll never forget the time I got to see her play in person. It was the most amazing experience ever. The way she commandedthe court and the crowd was mesmerizing. And when she won the match, the whole stadium was going crazy, cheering her on. It was like we were all part of something bigger than just a tennis match. We were witnessing greatness in action. And that's what Serena Williams represents to me –greatness. She's shown that with hard work, determination, and an unwavering belief in yourself, you can achieve anything you set your mind to, no matter how impossible it may seem. She's broken down barriers and shattered glass ceilings, and she's inspired millions of people around the world to dream big and never give up on their goals. So yeah, Serena Williams is my hero. She's the GOAT (Greatest Of All Time) in tennis, but she's so much more than that. She's a role model, an inspiration, and a true champion in every sense of the word. And I hope that one day, I can be even half as amazing as she is.篇2My Biggest Hero: Neil ArmstrongHave you ever dreamed of walking on the moon? Well, my hero Neil Armstrong actually did it! He was the first person ever to set foot on the lunar surface. How crazy is that?Neil Armstrong was born in 1930 in Wapakoneta, Ohio. Even as a little kid, he was obsessed with airplanes and flying. When he was 6 years old, he went to the Cleveland Air Races and got so excited watching the planes zoom through the sky. From that moment on, he knew he wanted to be a pilot. As a teenager, Armstrong took flying lessons and got his student pilot's license before he could even drive a car! After high school, he studied aeronautical engineering at Purdue University. He was an excellent student and even had a student job at a drug store to pay for flying lessons. After graduating, Armstrong joined the U.S. Navy and became a test pilot. His job was to fly brand new, experimental planes for the first time to test them out. It was extremely dangerous work, but Armstrong was brave and skilled enough to handle it. Over his career, he flew nearly 200 different aircraft models! In 1962, Armstrong was selected by NASA to join the astronaut program. His first mission into space was the Gemini 8 in 1966. During that flight, there was a critical malfunction and Armstrong had to take over manual control of the spacecraft to prevent a disaster. Everyone was amazed at how calmly and skillfully he handled the emergency.Because of his incredible piloting talents and his coolness under pressure, Armstrong was chosen to be the commander for the historic Apollo 11 lunar landing mission in 1969. On July 20th of that year, the tiny lunar lander carrying Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin seperated from the main spacecraft and began its descent to the moon's surface. As they got closer, Armstrong had to take over the controls because the computer was headed for a boulder-filled crater area that would be too dangerous for landing. Armstrong found a safe spot and landed the delicate craft with just seconds of fuel remaining! His famous first words from the moon were, "The Eagle has landed."A few hours later, Armstrong climbed down the ladder of the lander and firmly planted his boot into the powdery, gray lunar soil. "That's one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind," he said in that unforgettable moment watched by millions of awestruck people on Earth.Armstrong and Aldrin spent about 2.5 hours out on the moon's surface. They took photographs, set up scientific experiments, and collected nearly 50 pounds of rock and soil samples to bring back for study. When it was time to leave, Armstrong had to skillfully maneuver the lander's engines to liftoff from the moon's weak gravity and rejoin the main spacecraft for the journey back to Earth. The whole mission was an amazing accomplishment! After returning home as a world famous hero, Armstrong resigned from NASA in 1971. He went on to teach aerospace engineering at the University of Cincinnati for many years. Even though he was such a celebrated astronaut, Armstrong stayed very humble and private. He didn't like giving autographs or making a big deal about his incredible achievements. To me, Neil Armstrong is the greatest American hero who ever lived. Not only was he an amazing pilot and astronaut, but he risked his life to accomplish something no one else had ever done before. His bravery, skill, and coolness under pressure allowed him to go where no man had gone before. He made one of the most daring and historic journeys in all of human history.Armstrong proved that with hard work, determination, and perseverance, you really can achieve your wildest dreams - even walking on the moon! His "one small step" was truly a "giant leap" that inspired the whole world and sparked our continuing exploration of space. Neil Armstrong's unforgettable moon landing will be remembered and celebrated forever. He's my biggest hero of all time!篇3My Biggest Hero: Neil ArmstrongWho is your biggest hero? For me, it's Neil Armstrong - the first person to ever walk on the moon! He was an American astronaut who made history with the famous words: "That's one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind."Neil Armstrong was born in 1930 in Ohio. As a kid, he loved studying airplanes and flight. He got his student pilot's license before he could even drive a car! During college, he became an amazing pilot in the Navy. He flew nearly 80 combat missions during the Korean War. After the war, he joined NASA's astronaut program. In 1966, Neil Armstrong was picked to be the commander for the historic Apollo 11 moon mission. On July 16th, 1969, a powerful Saturn V rocket blasted Armstrong, Buzz Aldrin, and Michael Collins into space. Their destination? The moon!It took them four days to get there. When they arrived in lunar orbit, Armstrong and Aldrin transferred into the lunar module nicknamed "Eagle." Collins stayed behind orbiting in the command module. Armstrong and Aldrin began their descent. But with minutes left, computer alarms went off and theguidance system temporarily failed! It was really tense. Luckily, Armstrong calmly landed Eagle with his brilliant flying skills. As they landed, Armstrong announced: "The Eagle has landed!" Those words were heard all over the world. A few hours later, at 10:56 PM on July 20th, 1969, Armstrong opened Eagle's hatch and made his way down the ladder. When he finally stepped onto the powdery surface, he said his famous quote about the "giant leap for mankind." I get chills every time I hear it!Armstrong and Aldrin spent over 21 hours exploring and conducting experiments on the lunar surface. They took photos, planted an American flag, collected rock samples, and even hit a golf ball! After their historic moonwalk, they reunited with Collins and headed back to Earth. When they returned home, the three astronauts were celebrated as heroes by people all around the world. There were parades in their honor in cities like New York and Chicago. They were awarded the highest civilian honor, the Presidential Medal of Freedom. After his moon mission, Neil Armstrong left NASA and became a professor at the University of Cincinnati. But his legacy as the first man on the moon will live on forever. His bravery, skills, and coolness under pressure allowed humankind to achieve one of its greatest accomplishments.Neil Armstrong sadly passed away in 2012 at the age of 82. But his legendary moonwalk continues to inspire generations of explorers, astronauts, scientists, and dreamers. He once said: "Mystery creates wonder, and wonder is the basis for mankind's desire to understand." Armstrong's moonwalk was one of history's greatest mysteries solved and wonders revealed. To me, Neil Armstrong will forever be my biggest hero and role model. His incredible journey to the moon showed me that with hard work, perseverance, and big dreams, we really can achieve the impossible. I hope that one day I too can push the boundaries of exploration and make a "giant leap" that inspires the world.篇4My Favorite Famous Person: Malala YousafzaiHave you ever heard of Malala Yousafzai? She's one of the bravest and most inspiring people I know. Malala is a Pakistani activist who has fought tirelessly for girls' education rights. Even though she's still quite young, she has accomplished so much already!Malala was born in 1997 in the Swat Valley region of Pakistan. From a very young age, she loved going to school and learning new things. However, the Taliban militant group had taken control of her town. They started issuing threats against girls' education. They actually banned girls from attending school! Can you imagine not being allowed to go to school just because you're a girl? Malala couldn't accept that. At just 11 years old, she began speaking out publicly against the Taliban's policies. She gave speeches and wrote a blog under a fake name about her desire for all girls to have access to education. In 2012, when Malala was 15 years old, something truly horrific happened. A gunman boarded her school bus and shot her in the head! The Taliban had tried to assassinate her because they didn't want her speaking out. Thankfully, Malala survived the attack after receiving emergency medical treatment. After recovering, Malala didn't back down from her activism. In fact, she became even more determined! She continued advocating for girls' education rights on a global scale. In 2014, when she was just 17 years old, Malala received the Nobel Peace Prize. She was the youngest person ever to win that prestigious award! These days, Malala uses her platform to speak out about injustices and inequalities girls face in getting an education around the world. She runs the Malala Fund, which works to remove barriers preventing over 130 million girls from going to school. Her courage and resilience in fighting for such an important cause is just amazing.I really admire Malala for her bravery and for never giving up, no matter how difficult things got. She faced threats to her life for simply wanting to go to school and learn. Yet she refused to be intimidated or silenced. Malala's story proves that one person really can make a positive difference in the world. Her fight for girls' education continues today. Malala says, "One child, one teacher, one book and one pen can change the world." I believe her words and hope to follow her inspiring example of using my voice for good. Malala is living proof that we should never underestimate the power of students to create change. She's more than just a famous person to me. Malala Yousafzai is a real-life hero who has shown incredible strength, resilience and dedication to an important cause. She overcame unimaginable adversity and tackles difficult issues head-on. I'm in awe of her courage and accomplishments at such a young age.Malala's story motivates me to always stand up for what's right, work hard, get an education, and use my voice to make the world a little bit better. That's why she's my favorite famous person!篇5My Favorite Famous Person: Malala YousafzaiHave you ever heard of Malala Yousafzai? She's this super brave and inspiring Pakistani girl who stood up for girls' education rights even though it put her own life in danger. I think Malala is really cool and I want to tell you all about her amazing life story.Malala was born in 1997 in the Swat Valley region of Pakistan. When she was just a young kid, a group of extremists called the Taliban took over the area. The Taliban didn't believe girls should be allowed to go to school and get an education. Can you imagine that? Not being able to learn reading, writing, math and all the other important things we learn in school?Even though the Taliban made a bunch of strict rules against girls going to school, Malala kept attending classes because her parents were really supportive of her education. Her father Ziauddin actually owned and ran a school themselves. Malala loved learning and was an excellent student from an early age. When Malala was 11 years old in 2008, the Taliban issued an outright ban on girls attending school in Swat Valley. But Malala didn't let that stop her from speaking out. She started writing an anonymous blog for the BBC where she chronicled her life under Taliban rule and advocated for girls' education rights. She used the name Gul Makai for safety reasons.Through her blog, Malala quickly became a public voice and symbol of resistance against the Taliban's oppressive policies towards women and girls. In 2009, she even gave a speech titled "How dare the Taliban take away my basic right to education?" Wow, that took some serious courage, especially at such a young age!Malala continued her activism and public speaking over the next few years, despite constant death threats from the Taliban. Sadly, their threats turned out to be very real. On October 9th, 2012, a masked gunman boarded Malala's school bus and shot her in the head at point-blank range. Miraculously, she survived the horrific attack after months of medical treatment.Rather than being silenced, the assassination attempt only amplified Malala's voice and cause on a global scale. People all over the world rallied behind her with vigils and protests againstthe Taliban. She won Pakistan's first National Youth Peace Prize and was nominated for the International Children's Peace Prize. In 2013, Malala and her family were forced to leave Pakistan for their safety and relocated to England. There, Malala kept up her studies at a girls' secondary school while also writing a best-selling book called "I Am Malala" that detailed her incredible journey. In 2014, at just 17 years old, Malala was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize, making her the youngest person to ever receive that honor! Her powerful quote about the prize says it all: "One child, one teacher, one book and one pen can change the world." She donated her entire 500,000 prize to finance a secondary school for girls in Pakistan. Now 25 years old, Malala has become a renowned international advocate for human rights, women's rights and access to quality education for girls all over the world. She travels the globe visiting refugee camps, fundraising, giving speeches and literally putting her life on the line to make the world a better place.I think Malala's life story is just mind-blowing. She went through something so traumatic, but instead of being defeated, she turned it into a global movement to empower young girlsthrough education. Her courage, resilience and passion for helping others is really motivating. She makes me want to stay dedicated to my own studies and find ways that I can also make a positive difference, even as a kid.To me, Malala represents the importance of fighting for your beliefs and human rights, no matter what obstacles you face. She is living proof that even young people can be powerful voices for change that impact the whole world. When I think about how fearlessly Malala stood up to extremely dangerous people like the Taliban at such a young age, it inspires me to be brave and have conviction in what I know is right. I hope her story can motivate you too!篇6Who is Walt Disney? If you ask any kid who Walt Disney is, they will probably tell you he's the guy who created Mickey Mouse and all those wonderful Disney movies. But Walt Disney was so much more than that! He was an artist, entrepreneur, innovator, and pioneer of the American animation industry. Let me tell you all about this remarkable man.Walter Elias Disney was born on December 5, 1901 in Chicago, Illinois. He was one of five children, four boys and a girl. When Walt was four years old, his family moved to a farm in Marceline, Missouri. Some of Walt's happiest childhood memories were from living on this friendly farm town. He loved exploring the great outdoors and developed a love for drawing pictures of animals and nature scenes. When Walt was older, his family moved to Kansas City. While in school, Walt began developing a keen interest in art and photography. After graduating high school, he tried to join the Army but was rejected because he was too young. Determined to still contribute, 16-year-old Walt joined the Red Cross and was sent to France for a year once the war ended, driving an ambulance and chauffeuring Red Cross officials. After returning to the U.S., Walt moved to Kansas City to pursue a career as an artist. He got a job as an artist at an advertising company, making commercials based on cutout animations. It was here that Walt discovered his true calling - animation and cartoons. These early creative works were the seeds that would one day blossom into the mighty oak tree known as the Walt Disney Company. In 1923, Walt Disney moved to Hollywood with just 40 in his pocket and big dreams. Along with his brother Roy, he set up the Disney Brothers Studio. Here he created and produced the first few classic Disney cartoons starring his iconic character, Mickey Mouse. "Steamboat Willie" in 1928 was the first cartoon with synchronized sound and music, revolutionizing animation forever. As Mickey's popularity soared through animated shorts, Walt pushed to make the very first full-length animated film - Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs in 1937. The production was an enormous risk, employing a team of over 500 artists who created over 250,000 drawings frame-by-frame. But Snow White was a huge hit, pioneering a new art form and proving Walt's ambitious vision was possible. From there, Walt just kept pushing the boundaries of animation and storytelling through classic films like Pinocchio, Fantasia, Dumbo, and Bambi. He also began expanding the Disney company into television, theme parks, and merchandising. The world's first Disney theme park, Disneyland, opened in 1955 in Anaheim, California to astounding success.Walt Disney wasn't just an incredible visionary, he was also a true innovator. His animation studios pioneered manyadvancement in cameras, special effects, sound effects, and other audio/visual technologies. Walt was one of the first to embrace television and its potential, starting the iconic Walt Disney anthology TV series. He produced some of TV's firstfull-length movies like "The Shaggy Dog." Always pushing forward, Walt was also an early adviser and investor in what would become photocopying technology.Despite his creativity and ambitious vision, Walt Disney never lost his childlike sense of wonder, enthusiasm, and optimism. He firmly believed that all his stories should project strong ideals like good conquering evil, never lying, and keeping promises. Walt lived by the creed: "I only hope that we never lose sight of one thing – that it was all started by a mouse." He was truly the greatest storyteller of the 20th century.Sadly, Walt Disney passed away on December 15, 1966 from lung cancer at the too-young age of 65. In his lifetime, he won 22 Academy Awards and garnered over 950 honors and public recognitions from all over the world. But Walt's true legacy lives on through the amazing Disney studios, movies, parks, and merchandise that have brought joy and inspiration to billions worldwide across multiple generations.Today, Walt Disney's creations have touched the lives of kids and adults in every corner of the globe. Mickey Mouse is one of the most recognizable icons ever created, with the third most recognizable face in the world behind Santa Claus and Jesus Christ. Kids and grownups alike continue to be enthralled by Disney's magical worlds of animation, from the classic golden age films to today's Pixar blockbusters. And the incredible Disney parks and resorts allow all people, young and old, to be transported to realms of fun, imagination, and make-believe adventure.Simply put, Walt Disney was a true trailblazer who changed the face of entertainment forever. But beyond his visionary talents and commercial achievements, his lasting gift to the world was instilling that priceless childlike sense of wonder, optimism, and belief that our fondest dreams can become reality, no matter how impossible they may seem. As Walt himself said: "All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them." Amen to that, Walt. You continue to inspire kids and kids-at-heart around the world every day.。
