(1) Starting the Discussion 展开话题

Here are the steps：步骤如下：

mention the situation 说明情况

say what the group have to do 说明小组的任务

say what you think 说明你的想法

You can use expressions like : 你可以这样表达：

Okay，let’s begin …好的，让我们开始……

Today we are going to discuss …今天我们将讨论……

I’d like to start by …. 我想以…..开始谈论

I’m going to talk about….. 今天我想谈论…..

(2) Introducing Your Opinions and Suggestions 介绍你自己的观点和建议

I think that…

I feel that because…

In my opinion／I suggest / propose / recommend that .... 因此，建议…From my point of view, I think….

Let’s consider this in more details…让我们再详细的考虑一下…..

In conclusion, my suggestions are…..总之，我的建议是…..

（3）Responding Others’ Views 积极回应别人的观点

If you agree, you can say:

That’s a good idea. 那是个好主意。

I take your point. 我接受你的观点。

I accept it. 我接受你的观点。

If you don’t agree, you can say:

I doubt it. 我对此表示怀疑。

I can’t see your point. 我不懂你的观点。

（4）Confirming Areas of Agreement 确认意见一致的领域

There may be times when you partly agree with the others, In such cases, you say:

Yes，to a certain degree, it is true but….一定程度上那是对的，但是…..

I agree with you on the first part, but…...我赞同你的第一部分，但是…..

You are right in a degree, but….. 一定程度上你是对的，但是……

Interrupting Politely有礼貌的介入

May I make a point here? 我可以谈谈我的观点吗?

Could I stop you for a second? 能打断你片刻吗？

（5）Inviting Others to Speak引导别人开口说话

What’s your opinion? 你有什么观点？

Do you have any suggestions? 你有什么建议吗？

Do you have anything to say about this? 对于这个问题，你有什么要说的吗？What’s your comment on it? 你对此有什么评论的？

Does it make sense? 你觉得有道理吗？

（6）Redirecting the Discussion and Moving on to Another Point引导并适时转移到其他话题

Right, I think we’ve already covered that point.好的，我想我们已经说到那个点了。

If we agree, we should go on to the next point. 如果大家同意，我们应该继续另一个要点。

That’s all I have to say about…..这就是我对….. 所说的一切。

So much for…. 对…..我们就谈论到这里。

When you want to move to a new point, you can say:

Next, I think we need to decide…. 接下来，我想我们必须决定….. Now we’ll move on to……现在让我们看看……

Turning to….. 看看…..

I’d like to discuss….. 我现在想谈论下…..

(7) Clarification 澄清

Can you explain that again? 你能够再次解释一下吗？

Can you clarify that please？你能澄清一下吗？

Could you give more details? 你能给出更多的细节吗？

(8) Persuading Others 说服别人

Don’t you agree that we should…..? 你不认为我们应该……?

I think you would agree…, 我想你会赞同…..

(9) Summarizing 总结

In conclusion…. 总之，…..

Let me summarize the main points…让我们总结一下要点….. Right, let’s sum up, shall we….? 好了，让我们总结下，我们应该….?
