Company Profile
Hebei Port Group Co., LTD (short for Hebei Port Group) is a comprehensive wholly-state-owned company that is integrated with port construction and development, capital operation, state-owned asset operation and management, and investment and financing. With a total asset of RMB 57.184 billion and 15,051 employees, the company owns 52 companies either exclusively or partly invested, which are engaged in port business, port logistics, financial investment, port construction, manufacture of port machinery, port property, port service, etc.
The Group actively adheres to the business strategies to encourage the synergetic development for the regions of Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei Province, in line with “The Belt and Road” Initiative; meanwhile the company makes a significant effort in improving the overall arrangement of ports, market development, project support, capital cooperation, innovation, management, green port 25company creates a development mode driven by multiple businesses with the major business at its core. Port Operation
Qinhuangdao, Caofeidian in Tangshan, and Huanghua in Cangzhou under the operation of The Groupare located at the core area of Bohai Economic Rim. The ports enjoy a complete consolidation and dispatching system, by connecting to significant railroads and road nets. The company currently in three ports with a wide cargo scope including coal, metal ores, oils, liquid chemical, containers, and general cargo.
Qinhuangdao Port is a multi-functional international trade port with energy export as its primary business. It is the pivotal hub of t he “Coal Transportation from North to South” project in our country.
Caofeidian Port in Tangshan is an important ore transshipment port in northern China. The harbor hinterland covers the significant bases of steel, coal, petroleum and chemicals in China.
Huanghua Port in Cangzhou is an emerging port in the southern coast of Hebei. It’s the most economical and convenient port for Shanxi, Hebei, Shandong, Henan provinces and the Northwest region.

To accelerate the process of constructing a modern, intensive, unifed and informationlized system for port logistics, The Group develops Handan International Land Port, Qinhuangdao Tangshan Cangzhou Logistics Park, container terminals, and bonded warehouses. At the same time, the company enhances the port-vicinity logistics and the e-commerce development. The above effort contributes to a promising future of the cross-border multi-modal transport.
