Dear Sir,

I am John Smith, a tourist from the UK. I am writing to express my gratitude/thanks to a student named Li Hua in your school.

Yesterday I visited the park and had a wonderful time there. But when I returned to the hotel, I found my wallet missing. There was a lot of money in it, and above all, there was also my passport and flight ticket. Naturally I was very worried. In the evening, the hotel manager brought a boy to my room. The boy handed me my wallet. I thanked him and offered him some money as a reward. But he politely refused and left the hotel without leaving his name. Fortunately, from the manager, I found out who the young boy was.

I can’t thank Li Hua enough because it was his help and kindness that made my trip here special and enjoyable.
