THE FIRST YEAR
• Harry Potter has spent the first ten years of his life living under the stairs in the house of his Aunt Petunia and Uncle Vernon, who generally dislike him. Then, one day, a giant, named Hagrid, comes to him with an invitation to study at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. In his first year at school, he meets his two best friends Ron Weasley, an expert at Wizard Chess, and Hermione Granger, a girl with non-magic parents. Harry discovers that there are two worlds: one is the dreary(沉寂的;阴沉的;令人厌烦的;枯燥的) world of the Muggles(麻瓜) where he‘s grown up, and the other is one of magic and fantasy, and it’s the latter in which he‘s destined(注定) to live.
THE SIXTH YEAR

THE SEVENTH YEAR
• Harry and his best friends Ron and Hermione did not go back to Hogwarts，because he had to find and destroy the rest 4 Horcruxes(魂器) :Salazar Slytherin‘s locket(斯莱特林的挂坠盒)， Hufflepuff’s cup(赫奇帕奇 的金杯)， Rowena Ravenclaw’s crown(拉文克劳的冠冕) and the snake Nagini. Voldemort aone, also the 8th piece soul of Voldemort, was him: Harry Potter. Harry put down his weapon, go to the front of Voldemort and let Voldemort kill himself without resistance(抵抗). But the wonder happened, Harry did not die, and the 8th soul disappeared. Finally, Harry killed Voldemort in the face of all people. The peace came at last.
THE FIFTH YEAR
• Harry returns for his fifth year of study at Hogwarts and discovers that much of the wizarding community(巫师界) is in denial about(否认)the teenager’s recent encounter(对抗)with the evil Lord Voldemort, preferring to turn a blind eye to the news that Voldemort has returned. Fearing that Hogwarts’ venerable(尊敬的)Headmaster, Albus Dumbledore, is lying about Voldemort’s return in order to undermine(削弱)his power and take his job, the Minister for Magic(魔法部长), Cornelius Fudge, appoints a new Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher to keep watch over(监视)Dumbledore and the Hogwarts students. But Professor Dolores Umbridge’s Ministry-approved course of defensive magic leaves the young wizards woefully unprepared(还未准备好)to defend themselves against the dark forces threatening them and the entire wizarding community, so at the prompting(鼓励)of his friends Hermione and Ron, Harry takes matters into his own hands. Meeting secretly with a small group of students who name themselves “Dumbledore’s Army,” Harry teaches them how to defend themselves against the Dark Arts, preparing the courageous young wizards for the extraordinary battle that lies ahead(即将 发生的).
THE THIRD YEAR
• Harry‘s third year truly begins when the Hogwart’s express(快车) stops moving, a Dementor(摄魂怪) attacks Harry and is dispatched(处理) with the help of new professor, Remus J.Lupin. The Dementor flees but not before it causes Harry to faint(昏倒).A prisoner named Sirius Black has escaped from Azkaban prison; he was incarcerated(监禁) there twelve years previously for apparently aiding Voldemort and the Death Eaters(明显协助伏地魔和食死徒).Harry, believing it was Black who caused his parent's deaths, finds out the truth at the end of the year.
THE SECOND YEAR
• Harry, Ron, and Hermione return to Hogwarts for their second year, which proves to be more challenging than the last. The Chamber of Secrets(密室) is opened, leaving students and ghosts petrified(惊呆的;目瞪口呆 的). • Harry‘s fourth year begins with him having a nightmare(噩梦) about Frank Bryce being killed by Voldemort. At Hogwarts, there is a new professor, Alastor Moody .Hogwarts is hosting the Triwizard Tournament(三强争霸赛), a dangerous tournament between three schools of magic. Fleur Delacour, Viktor Krum and Cedric Diggory are the three champions. However, Harry's name appears out of the Goblet of Fire making him a fourth champion……
