Is Military Training Necessary?

In most college and universities, the first lesson for the freshmen is military training. The advocates say with the

basic military training, students will learn discipline, team work and patriotism.

The protestors, however, hold the opinion that this is a great waste of the young people’s time. In today’s China, the soldiers in the army can make our homes safe and sound.
