3.教师出示一个有很多只猫的图片，教师提问：How many cats do you see?一边提问，一边做看的手势，然后带领学生数one, two…ten，帮助学生理解“How many cats do you see?”的意思。
4.教师出示很多个球的图片，并问：How many balls do you see?这次学生自己数，数到十的时候，教师简单讲解下“十一、十二”，了解读法。
5.教师利用课件，在一张幻灯片上展示几幅小图：多个橙子、多个小汽车、多个草莓、多个西瓜等，学生两人一组，模仿Let’s talk版块对话，互相提问问数量。
6.教师展示一个风筝，说：Look, it’s a kite. 并问：Is it beautiful?学生回答：Yes.可以出示更多漂亮的图片，帮助学生理解beautiful的意思。
7.播放光盘，让学生跟读课文，根据挂图理解“The black one is a bird.”的意思。
