摘要：PURPOSE:To obtain a correct reproduced image by detecting an edge by using an error image, and correcting the missed edge at a first edge detection part. CONSTITUTION:The edge (contour) is detected from a source color image 101 at a first edge detection part 102, and edge detection is executed to the error image based on the bulk error of an extracted part extracted at a bulk error extraction part 104 by a second edge detection part 105. The edge is detected from the source color image 101 even at a third edge detection part 106 as well. An edge correction part 107 discovers the missed edge at the first edge detection part 102 by calculating so-called AD logic of the edge extracted from the bulk error image at the second edge detection part 105 and a little many edge extracted from the third edge detection part 106 and adds the discovered missed edge to the edge detected at the first edge detection part 102 afterwards.
