My name is Zhou Hao.I ’m 27 years and I come from luAn, a very beautiful city of Anhui Province. I’m self-taught student ,I graduated from USTC (The university of Science and T echnology) and my major is Management of computer information.
In the past several years, I have been studying har d, especially for doing what I’m interested in. though I chose Management of computer information as my major, I found Mineral Engineering is always my love. In my spare time, I often borrow and buy books on those aspects and read them through as quickly and carefully as I can. I think that Mineral Engineering plays a more and more important role in modern society. I'm eager to learn more about Mineral Engineering and I hope I can study further in this University
Finally, my personalities. Generally speaking, I’m an independent person with a sense of responsibility. I like challenges in my life, and I will try my best to overcome all the difficulties in my study in future. If I could be lucky enough to be one member of this great university, I will concentrate on my study and make great efforts to learn as much as possible so as to make contributions to the society and our country. 答：In my spare time，I like reading books，especially those
about history and humanity, playing ping-pong, communicating with friends.
I also like English very much, but I do think there’s still a long way to go, so I won’t
give up my English study, and I will keep improving my oral and listening ability.
Learning English is the most direct and available method for intercourse among countries and also useful for us to get advanced knowledge and technology from other nations.

4. Would you like to say something about your university? (How are you benefited at your university?)
答：I'm graduated from USTC. It has a refreshing and scholarly atmosphere. several years’studying there made me an independent, optimistic and strict boy. I'm really thankful to her for enriching my knowledge and widening my view. I appreciate the education my university gave me.
5. What kind of personality do you think you are?
答：I am an independent person with a sense of responsibility. I like challenges in my life, and I will try my best to overcome all the difficulties in my study and work in future. Of course, I do fail sometimes, but I never regard myself as a loser .
I think no one is a loser as long as he has tried to fulfill his goal.
6. What are your great strengths?
答：I think that my strongest merit is my ability to stick to things until I get them done. I feel a real sense of accomplishment when I finish a job.
7. What are your great weaknesses?
答：I 'm afraid I 'm poor at communicating with others, especially strangers. Although I have tried to make some change on this, I lose my courage at the very moment of starting a conversation.
8. Can you introduce your family to us ? (Which of your members influences you most?) 答：In my family, there are three members：my farther，my mother，and me. My parents are workers，my father works very hard, and he is always fully occupied, so most of the housework is done by my mother, of course, while I am at home, I would help her. I love my parents and they love me，too. When I make a success，they are more excited than me, and support me to do better. Even though I failed, instead of blaming，they always encourage me not to give up. Parents’ love is unselfish，I’m deeply affected，so I will do
all what I can to repay them.
9. What’s your favorite sport?
答：My favorite sport is running. I run on playground in the school every day. I feel kind of relaxed when I run, especially before or after exams.
10. What kind of music do you like most?
答：My favorite music is classical music. When I listen to clas sical music, I’m completely relaxed. Music can enhance creativity, planning and stimulate brain, especially classical music , to enhance your memory and attention.
11. What kind of books do you like (enjoy) reading?
答：I like reading detective stories. I think reading detective stories makes me excited and quick in mind. Reading can help to get rid of my loneliness, reading quietly is my greatest enjoyment.
12. Who is your favorite singer?
答：My favorite singer is Liu Ruo Ying. Her songs are so enchanting that hearing them, I will forget the earthly world. What charms me is not only her music, but also her fight against the shadow of her life.

14. Could you depict your general plans for the postgraduate study?
What do you expect to achieve during your study if you are enrolled into this
university?
答：I hope I can form a systematic view of this major. During several years’study, I become more interested in it. I believe if I can continue to study here, I will have access
to the up-to-date information and concentrate on the study and work in this field. I’m
sure I will put what I have learned from books into practice. In a word, I’m looking
forward to making a solid foundation for my future profession after three years’ study
here.
15. Tell us something about your major in the university.
答：I major in Management of computer information at USTC. I have taken sixteen courses, including Data structure, Operating system, Database theory and so on. I think I have learned quite a lot about my major on both theoretical and practical sides. I think
computer technology is very useful, especially for Mineral Engineering and I hope I can
study further in this University
16. What course do you like best in your university？
答：I think English is always my favorite course, though it is not my major. What’s more, my major is Management of computer information, so I need to read a lot on the subject.
Besides, many good and up-to-data books on this subject are in English, so English is very important to me.
17. Do you think a university education equals a successful future？
答：I don’t really think so. University education is one of the basic requirements for competing in the job market. But we should realize that the knowledge or special technique a university education can furnish you is theoretical. Before you put it into practice, you will never known whether it’s going to work or not. Therefore, it’s better to say a univ ersity education is a precondition for a successful future.
18. What is the most important skill you have acquired at college？
答：Besides all the courses taken, I have also acquired another important skill which will benefit me all through my life. That is the way to communicate with others. With the help of my roommates, classmates, together with teachers, I started to learn the way of getting along with people around－to be generous, kind and always be ready to offer help.
19. What’s the most difficult part of your work？
