1. What’s the trouble?怎么啦?
这是医生询问病人病情的用语类似的说法还有:
①What’s your trouble?
②What’s wrong with you?
③What’s the matter with you?
④What’s up?
⑤What’s the problem?
但不能说:
①Wh at’s your wrong?
②What’s your matter?
③What’s the wrong?
④What’s matter?
2. Set me take your temperature. 让我给你量体温。

短语take one’s temperature 意为“量体温”。

例如:
①Have you taken your temperature? 你量过体温吗?
注意短语have a temperature意为“发烧”相当于have a fever. 例如:
②The child has a temperature. Send for a doctor, please. 孩子发烧了,去请医生来。

3. S he didn’t feel like eating anything. 她不想吃东西。

feel like = want sth. 意为“想要”通常跟名词或动名词like为介词。

feel like doing sth = want to do sth. 例如:
①It’s so hot that I feel like going swimming. 天这么热,我想去游泳。

②I don’t feel like drinking milk now. 我现在不想喝牛奶。

通常跟动名词的动词我们学过的还有:
①enjoy doing sth ②finish doing sth ③begin / start doing sth ④mind doing sth等。

4. I had a pain in my head. 我头痛。

I have a pain in my head. 相当于My bead hurts或I have a headache.
pain多指突然的疼痛,若表示身体某部位疼痛,可用a pain / pains + in +部位名词。

例如:
①He has a pain in his arm. 他手臂疼。

②I have pains in the stomach. 我胃疼。

ache指人身体的疼痛,往往用于持续的疼痛,或因一些小病引起的感觉。

常常是局部的,可构成headache头痛,toothache牙痛,earache耳朵痛,backache背痛,stomachache胃痛

昨天晚上,我一入睡就梦见我去了花园。

A. as soon as 的意思是“一……就”引导时间状语从句。

例句:
①I’ll give the note to him as soon as he es back.
他一回来我就把条子交给他。

②He will call me up as soon as he gets there.
他一到那儿就给我打。

B. fall asleep 意为“睡着”,例如:
③He was just falling asleep when there was a loud knock at the door.
他刚要入睡,就有人大声敲门。

fall asleep表示短暂性动作,后面不能与表示一段时间的状语连用。

如:
④He has been asleep for half an hour.
他入睡已半小时了。

不能说He has fallen asleep for half an hour.
有关“睡觉”的短语有:
①go to bed 去睡觉
②go to sleep / get to sleep 意为“入睡,睡着”(指进入梦乡的过程)
③be asleep 意为“熟睡”(指睡眠的状态)
④be fast asleep 睡的很熟

我梦见我一整夜都在忙着种树。

A. be busy doing …“忙于做……”的意思,同义词组:
be busy with sth. 例如:
①I am busy doing my homework. = I am busy with my homework.
我正在忙着做作业。

②Mother was busy cooking when I got home.
我到家时,妈妈正在忙着做饭。

B. all night long意为“整夜”,“long”可省略。

例如:
③The nurse sat by the patient all night long.
由night组成的短语还有:
①night after night 一夜又一夜
②at night 在晚上
③day and night 日以继夜
④all day and all night 整天整夜
⑤in the night 在夜间

be awake意思是“醒着的”是形容词短语,反义词语为“be asleep”例如:
①Is he awake or asleep? 他醒着还是睡着了。

awake还可用作动词,可作及物,也可作不及物动词用,例如:
③The sound of the doorbell awoke the baby.
铃声把婴儿吵醒了。

④I awake at six every morning. 我每天6点钟醒。

too much修饰不可数名词,意为“太多”,例如:
①There is too much snow this year. 今年雪太多。

much too意为“太、非常”用作副词词组,修饰形容词和副词。

④He walked much too slowly. 他走的太慢了。

every +基数词+名词“每隔……”表示频率。
