Things To Remember If You Want To Be Truly Happy
1. Never dwell on the past
Your past is just a story. Everyone has a past –often full of pain, disappointment, missed opportunities, and unfulfilled expectations. No matter what your past looks like, it’s just a story – so don’t let it influence you. Make the present meaningful.
2. Never focus on what’s missing; look at what you actually have.
Be grateful for what you have. You could waste hours counting the things you would like to improve, which would only take you away from appreciating your real life. Gratitude puts situations into perspective and rewires your mind toward a positive direction.
3. Never underestimate quality time with yourself.
Don’t confuse happiness with excitement; a lasting joy of life grows when your mind is in peace. Making time for yourself is as important as devoting time to your everyday duties. Regular meditation, sport, contact with nature, and quality (offline) time spent reading will help you reconnect with yourself and hear your intuition again.
4. Never stop improving yourself.
We are all different, and there is no perfect direction or path to our personal evolution. The whole point is to become the best version of YOU, and never stop taking lessons from your own life experiences.
5. Never be too harsh on yourself.
Many of us are our own hardest critics, constantly diminishing every success. Accept that you will never be ideal – and see this as okay. In the process of self-development, embracing your own vulnerabilities has been scientifically proven to be a key component of happiness.
6. Never lose a sense of purpose in what you are doing.
Your time and life power are limited, so spend them wisely and target your energy towards something meaningful. Finding a purpose helps you live a bigger life.
Do you have my ball?I dont have it.
T:What do you do?
S:We are students.
T:What do you do at school every day?
S:We study.
T:Do you like studying?
S:Yes,we do .
T:Great!You’re good students。
And you must study hard。
再如,在学习Could you help me?
例如,在教学一般将来时态时我问道:“What are you going be ?Why?”其中一位学生答道:“I am going to be a boss, because a boss can earn much money”。
Who’s on duty?Everyone is here today?
1、What time do you get up every day?
2、Do you read English every morning?
3、How many lessons do you have in the morning?
4、What time do you have breakfast?
5、Do you have lunch at school or at home?
6、What time do you have lessons in the afternoon?
7、What time do you have supper?
8、Do you do your home work every evening?
9、What time do you go to bed?
10、Do you go to school by bike or on foot?
A:What’s the weather like today?
B:It’s very cold。
A:Oh,put your coat on please.
B:Thank you very much.
A:That’s all right.

Saving the Birds
One day in spring four men were riding on horseback along a country road. These men were lawyers, and they were going to the next town to attend court.
There had been a rain, and the ground was very soft. Water was dripping from the trees, and the grass was wet.
The four lawyers rode along, one behind another; for the pathway was narrow, and the mud on each side of it was deep. They rode slowly, and talked and laughed and were very jolly.
As they were passing through a grove of small trees, they heard a
great flutterin(振抖)over their heads and a feeble chirping in the grass by the roadside.
"Stith! stith! stith!" came from the leafy branches above them.
"Cheep! cheep! cheep!" came from the wet grass.
"What is the matter here?" asked the first lawyer, whose name was Speed. "Oh, it's only some old robins!" said the second lawyer, whose name was Hardin. "The storm has blown two of the little ones out of the nest. They are too young to fly, and the mother bird is making a great fuss about it."
"What a pity! They'll die down there in the grass," said the third lawyer, whose name I forget.
"Oh, well! They're nothing but birds," said Mr. Hardin. "Why should we bother?"
"Yes, why should we?" said Mr. Speed.
The three men, as they passed, looked down and saw the little birds fluttering in the cold, wet grass. They saw the mother robin flying about, and crying to her mate.
Then they rode on, talking and laughing as before. In a few minutes they had forgotten about the birds.
But the fourth lawyer, whose name was Abraham Lincoln, stopped. He got down from his horse and very gently took the little ones up in his big warm hands.
They did not seem frightened, but chirped softly, as if they knew they were safe.
"Never mind, my little fellows," said Mr. Lincoln "I will put you in your own cozy little bed."
Then he looked up to find the nest from which they had fallen. It was high, much higher than he could reach.
But Mr. Lincoln could climb. He had climbed many a tree when he was a boy. He put the birds softly, one by one, into their warm little home. Two other baby birds were there, that had not fallen out. All cuddled down together and were very happy.
Soon the three lawyers who had ridden ahead stopped at a spring to give their horses water.
"Where is Lincoln?" asked one.
All were surprised to find that he was not with them.
"Do you remember those birds?" said Mr. Speed. "Very likely he has stopped to take care of them."
In a few minutes Mr. Lincoln joined them. His shoes were covered with mud; he had torn his coat on the thorny tree.
"Hello, Abraham!" said Mr. Hardin. "Where have you been?"
"I stopped a minute to give those birds to their mother," he answered.
"Well, we always thought you were a hero," said Mr. Speed. "Now we know it."
Then all three of them laughed heartily. They thought it so foolish that a strong man should take so much trouble just for some worthless young birds.
"Gentlemen," said Mr. Lincoln, "I could not have slept to-night, if I had left those helpless little robins to perish in the wet grass."
Abraham Lincoln afterwards became very famous as a lawyer and statesman. He was elected president. Next to Washington he was the greatest American.。
