Topic:Mechanical Properties of High-Strength Lightweight Concrete Introduction:
High strength lightweight concrete is a type of high performance concrete generally with a specified compressive strength of 40MPa or greater. The compressive strength is measured on 150-300mm or 100-200mm test cylinders generally at 56 or 90-days or some specified age depending upon the application .The production of high strength lightweight concrete requires more research and more attention to qualify control than conventional concrete.
Body:
Conventional cement and gravel preparation of raw materials, modern high-strength concrete technology goods after superplasticizer invention from the 1970s began to develop, it has overcome the past on high strength concrete goods can only be dry hard commodity production of ready-mixed concrete can not be industrialized and fundamental flaws pumping construction, with excellent performance in terms of comprehensive strength work of spices and ready-mixed concrete, volume stability and impermeability, etc., which is also known as high-performance concrete, and is seen development will play an important role in promoting civil building a new generation of structural materials.
The application of modern high-strength concrete has a presence in various commodity areas civil engineering, building engineering, port marine engineering, underground engineering. Now the construction site, some developed countries have been able to gain strength as 80 ~ 100MPa High Strength Concrete commodity trade, commodity higher strength concrete can supply.
Conclusion:
The advent of modern high-strength commercial concrete construction industry is an important advance on. In the foreseeable future, it is the most promising new generation of structural materials that can be used extensively for all kinds of important structures particularly in infrastructure projects.
Engineering Applications strength of up to 100MPa high-strength concrete in some developed countries where goods are relatively mature technology. Our ready-mixed concrete in the field of modern high strength has been a lot of research and had more than 10 years of engineering experience, now has popularized C50-C80 High Strength Concrete commodity basic conditions.
