The stressed syllable sounds stronger. The stress can be on the first, middle or last syllable of a word.

• It is l-o-n-g-e-r. com p-u-ter • It is LOUDER. comPUTer • It has a change in pitch (音高). • It is said more clearly. • It uses larger facial movements (面部运动).
