I’m a bird. You may think that I’m now flying happily in the sky, but actually,
I am kept in a cage (笼子) as a pet.
Although I can’t speak as my owner (主人), I can understand him. He put my cage near the window so I can see the view through the window. How beautiful it is!
Sometimes I can hear my friends singing and sometimes I can see the baby birds
finishing their first flight (飞翔). I also want to fly! If I were not caught, I would be
free to fly in the blue sky! I know my owner is kind to me. She gives me delicious food every day, but he doesn’t know that I’m not happy. I need freedom (自由).

There are many beautiful things around us. Here is a true story about beauty.
In a small town, there was an ordinary bus driver. He worked hard every day.
One day, he was driving on a highway. Suddenly, he was struck with a deadly blow (致命一击) when a chunk of iron(铁) fell from the sky and crashed through his bus windshield(挡风玻璃). He felt he would die at once. But he remembered there weremany passengers on the bus, and he needed to save them. So he
tried his best to stop the car in a corner, and used the rest of his strength to make the bus safe enough and open the door. He even didn’t forget to tell the passengers to keep safe before he fainted(昏厥). Though the doctors did their best, he lost his life in a hospital. He was only 48 years old.
