Teaching procedures 教学过程
Step 1 Warm-up
1. Sing a song: We wish you a Merry Christmas.
2. Enjoy a new song: Jingle Bells.
3. Present some pictures about Christmas in the West.
4. Sound game. (Find the different words.)

Step 2 Revision
1. T: You did a great job in Unit 8. Today, w e’re going to do some tasks. If you do well, you’ll get
a Christmas stocking.

2. First, let’s do a word puzzle.
Find as many words about Christmas as you can. (小组合作完成有关圣诞的字谜,两分钟后汇报,完成最多的两个组得到圣诞袜)
3. T: Next, let’s re tell what our friends do on Christmas Day?
(1) 扮演Mike,复述Story time. (PPT呈现主要单词和句型)
(2) 表演Cartoon time.
(3) 续编Cartoon time.
Step 3 Checkout time
1. Look and guess.
T: Look! Yang Ling is talking to Helen. What are they talking about? Guess!

2. Look and complete. (完成Page 86 Think and write)
3. 复习频度副词。
Step 4 Order and say
1. PPT呈现打乱顺序的词组,学生根据逻辑顺序完成排序后呈现三幅场景:Birthday, Mike’s
Day和Goldilocks and the three bears。
2. 学生四人一组,任选一个场景用顺序副词进行描述,可以选几组上台展示。

Step 5 Enjoy another Christmas Story
1. T: We know there’s a Father Christmas. Do you know there’s a Mother Christmas too? Who’s
she? Where’s she from? Enjoy my story.
2. Teach some words in the story.
3. R etell the story with “First, …Next, …Then, … Finally …”. (PPT呈现)
Homework 家庭作业
Can you use “First, Next, Then, Finally” to make your own Christmas story? Write the story down and share with your classmates next class.
