Box Setup
Player A: Messy Box – Place one roof tile inside a can or tin and wrap it in tissue to obscure the part – Box should have a poor SOP of house on inside of lid, Ex. A picture of the finished house or a SOP for a different type of house – Parts for house should be spread throughout the box with no logic of were they are located and many extra parts – Lid of box can be taped to make it difficult to open box
– No talking from the observers – The players are able to pickup and look at the house prior to the start of the game. Once the players have looked at the house it will be placed directly in front of both of them so both of them can see the house. At this point they are not allowed to pickup the house, however they are allowed to rotate the house to see the other sides. – Pull out the their boxes but tell them not to open them; place the messy box in front of player A and the organized box in front of player B. – Start the game, at which time the stop watch is started and they can open the boxes and build the house as fast as possible.

Improvement Ideas
-Learning Point; Player “A” will typically provide improvement ideas to mimimice Player “B” box. Player “B” will give many ideas for improvement that Player “A” is unable to see. This should be pointed out to be Continuous Improvement -Typical results will be: Player B with superior quality, relaxed feel, and quicker time -Common Improvement ideas for Player A

Players: 2 Game Duration: 60 minutes Objective: Build an exact duplicate of the house, ensuring the color layers are in the same sequence. It is unnecessary to use the same size bricks in the same places. Supplies: – Lego game kit, stopwatch, table, chairs Game Rules:

Setup
Game Setup (for leader):
– The players are unable to see or open their boxes prior to the start of the game. – Players should be of equal Lego building skill, if they are of unequal skill the more experience player should be Player B. – None of the players should have played the game before. – Player A gets the messy box, Player B gets the organized box. – When asking for feedback and results always start with player A – Do not let observers help the players out, they are present to observe how the players are acting and performing. – Ensure all pieces for the houses are present prior to the start of the game. – Sit the players across from each other and place a large box or divider between the players. The players should be unable to see what the other player is building or at what stage the house is at.
