贝多芬是德国伟大的音乐家之一,被尊称为乐圣。
祖父是男高音歌唱家。
父亲是一名男低音歌唱家。
路德维希·凡·贝多芬出生在德国波恩,祖籍弗兰德。
自幼跟从父亲学习音乐,很早就显露了音乐上的才华,八岁便开始登台演出。
十七岁那年,波恩宫廷资助他去维也纳,也就是在这时与莫扎特有了短暂接触。
1792年,经过海顿的指引,再次到音乐之都维也纳深造,艺术上进步飞快。
他创作了大量充满时代气息的优秀作品,如交响曲《英雄》、《命运》,《田园交响曲》;序曲《哀格蒙特》;钢琴曲《悲怆》、《月光曲》、《暴风雨》、《热情》、《黎明》等等。
他集古典音乐的大成,同时开辟了浪漫时期音乐的道路,对世界音乐的发展有着举足轻重的作用。
是一位颇具创造性的作曲家。
德国最伟大的音乐家、作曲家、钢琴家、指挥家。
维也纳古典乐派代表人物之一,他与海顿、莫扎特一起被后人称为“维也纳三杰”。
他和米开朗基罗、列夫·托尔斯泰的一生都经历了各种苦难坎坷,法国作家罗曼·罗兰根据他们的人生写成了《名人传》。
当贝多芬19岁的时候,法国大革命爆发,给贝多芬带来自由、平等、博爱的希望。

他创作的音乐作品有《月光奏鸣曲》、《C小调第5交响曲》等。
他的十一部交响曲全都在维也纳举行了首演式。

贝多芬被后人认为是有史以来最伟大的交响曲作家。
他的《英雄交响曲》充满了激情。
他的《第九交响曲》取材于德国诗人席勒的《欢乐颂》,如今已经成为欧盟的盟歌了。
贝多芬一生坎坷。
二十六岁时听力渐渐衰退,四十五岁时耳朵完全失去听力,只能通过谈话册与人交谈。
但是孤寂的生活并没有使他沉默和隐退,在一切进步思想都遭禁止的封建复辟年代里,依然坚守“自由、平等、博爱”的政治信念,通过言论和作品,为共和理想而奋臂呐喊,反映了当时资产阶级反封建、争民主的革命热情,写下不朽名作《第九交响曲》。
他的作品受十八世纪启蒙运动和德国狂飙突进运动的影响,个性鲜明,较前人有了很大的发展。
在音乐表现上,他几乎涉及当时所有的音乐体裁;大大提高了钢琴的表现力,使之获得交响性的戏剧效果;又使交响曲成为直接反映社会变革的重要音乐形式。
主要作品有交响曲九部(以第三《英雄交响曲》、第五《命运交响曲》、第六《田园交响曲》、第九《合唱交响
曲》最为著名),歌剧《费黛里奥》等等。
