摘要：PURPOSE:To dispense with an expensive battery and to maintain a white balance even at the time of turning off a power source by storing a set value to decide the gain of a gain control means to change the gain of a chrominance signal into a memory exclusive-use for reading to be electrically writable. CONSTITUTION:When the power source of a device is turned off and the power source is inputted again, white balance data DR and DB at addresses at which they are written last are referred to by a CPU 40, and they are sent to variable gain amplifying circuits 34 and 35. Namely, a condition in which the white balance is obtained last is maintained. Namely, a P(Programmable) ROM 50 necessary for originally storing a program to operate the CPU 40 is utilized, and the white balance data are stored in the unoccupied area. Thus, without using the expensive battery and adding an EEP(Electrically Erasable and Programmable) ROM, the white balance data can be maintained even when the power source is turned off.
