一、能力目标

Wonderland: plants, grass, pine, carnation, lotus, lily, rose, sunflower
Farmland: Are these/those…?
Grand theater: Carnations for Mother
Language Lab:1. 通过拼读单词进一步巩固字母和单词。
2. 根据课文内容回答Questions and answers中的问题,并根据实际情况回答
On your own中的问题。
Music Box:掌握字母oy,ow和ou在单词中的读音。
引导学生分辨双元音/ i /和/au/的发音,通过复习含有 / /和/ou/ 音素的单词,强化并掌握这两个音素。
Disneyland:这是一首以“多彩世界”为主题的儿歌,可以通过提问让学生感受我们生活的世界是美丽多彩的。
例如:What colour is snow? What colour are the flowers? What colour
can you see around us? What colour do you like? Why? 在教完儿歌后,教师可以
让学生创编儿歌。
四、发展目标
1.创设情境,鼓励学生整合已有的语言知识,分组用“Are these / those ...?”句式进行小品表
演。
2.补充更多有关花的单词,并让学生了解西方关于花的文化和习俗。
五、情感目标
通过学习,教育学生能热爱自然。
六、学习策略目标
在学习过程中做pair / group work 时要积极开动脑筋,介绍自己记忆单词的方法,培养合作完成的意识。

了解these/those一般疑问句的回答。

第一课时:Plants
教学目标
一、基本目标
(1) Learn to express these plants in English: rose, sunflower, carnation, lotus, lily, tulip,
grass, pine.
(2) Pronounce and spell the new words properly.
(3) Using the sentences the students learned before.
二、发展目标
(1) Using some adjectives to describe these words.
(2) Having the students is able to ask and answer about these words.
教学过程
一、课前准备
1. Say the rhyme: Swing, Blow the balloon.
2. Daily talk.
二、授课
1. rose
1)Show a plastic rose and present the new word.
T: here’s a flower for you. Do you like the flower? Do you know this flower’s name?
Let me tell you. It’s rose.
2)Read and spell the new word properly.
3) Question:
T: I can make a rose. Can you make a rose? Please ask your deskmate. Work in pair.
2. sunflower
1)Show the picture card and present the new word.
T: Look, what are these? S: They are flowers.
2)Read and spell the new word properly.
3)Question: Do you like sunflowers? What does it look like? Are there any sunflowers in our school garden?
3. carnation
1) Show the picture card and present the new word.
T: Are these sunflowers? S: No, they aren’t.
T: What are these? They are carnations. We can also say it-Mother’s flower.
2) Read and spell the new words properly.
3) Question:
T: What colour is the carnation? S:It’s red/pink/yellow.
T: Do you like red carnations or....?
Which flower do you buy for your mother on Mother’s Day?
4. Lily, lotus, tulip.
Use the same way to teach the other words.
5. grass, pine.
1)Show the picture of a park... (consult the student’s work book p48) T: Where can you see these flowers? (in the park, in the flower shop...)
Let’s go to the park....What are these/those? Are these/ those...?
2) Read and spell the new word properly.
3) Question:
What can you do on the grass?
What colour is the pine in spring/summer/autumn/winter?
What’s on the pine? (birds)
Is there a cat under the pine? What is it doing?
三、课后活动
1. Listen to the tape .Choose pictures and spell the words.
2. Guessing game: Are these/those....?
3. Listen and circle the words. (Student’s work booksp46, 47)
第二课时: Grand Theatre Carnations for Mother
教学目标
